But that is never worth it really. At least if you are on a budget. We like to get half fried, half grilled. The best of both worlds. One of the few chicken fast food or not with breast that is not extremely dry. Someone's inconsistent, I did once get tender breast and was pleasantly shocked. But only once. But when someone younger than me is a manager and can't even handle money I'm very concerned. My order was $35.. I gave them cash and a card to split the payment. I told them $23 in cash and the rest on the card. They looked at me in awe like they've never heard that before. They asked me how much I would like to pay in cash even though I just said what I would like to do, and then they asked well how much I would have to pay in card like bro whatttt. Mind you this is simple math. Then at one point I had 3 employees at the drive through window doing math all together... I get my receipt and order and I checked the order it was surprisingly correct then I check the receipt as I'm leaving and they didn't even charge me correctly... They charged me $20 and gave me $3 back and didn't even charge my card. Great for a fast food spot! I wasn't expecting much when my coworkers took me here. I had the two piece fried chicken combo with potato salad and gravy as an extra. The fried chicken was hot and fresh. The seasoning on the side is what really made the chicken savory. The seasonings more salty than spicy so I would consider in moderation. I order a 16 spicy tender meal and I got regular tenders instead and cold at that. It comes with 4 rolls and they only gave me 2 I payed well close to $40 to get bad food and they don't pick up their phone. You can't even bite the tender. read more

Went there after work getting a large family meal for the family. Got the 16 piece tenders. After twice having to ask her if she did in fact say the 16 piece not the 6 she told me to pull forward. When I'm in the mood for fried chicken and don't want to venture too far away from home, Golden Chick is my #1 choice. Beats out nearby KFC and Church's Chicken for me. The chicken is usually crispy, hot, & juicy. Totally satisfies my craving. I usually order the regular fried chicken versus the spicy. The spicy powder actually isn't spicy at all and just makes the chicken saltier. I also usually order only the wings. Hubs likes the chicken tenders. To maximize our budget, we usually go for the Tender Tuesday special: $9.99 for 12 tenders, rolls, & gravy. I forget how many rolls come with the special. But it's never enough for us. We usually add another dozen for good measure. Those pillowy, slightly sweet, yeast rolls are freakin' delicious. Reminds me of the rolls I used to devour at O'Charley's in TN & FL. Military discount offered. Other reviewers complained about the drive-thru and I can understand. I used it once and my order was completely wrong. Even ordering at the counter doesn't prevent mistakes. So, check your order before leaving, folks. read more

Couldn't find the receipt but had the container with the mistake they made. This place has pretty good chicken and seafood. The tenders are juicy and flavorful, they have great Mac and cheese, jalapeño poppers and the rolls are to die for. The French fries are kinda bland though, so I suggest trying one of their other sides. Each time we've gone our order was correct and the staff was average in their service. I went through the drive-through this evening to pick up dinner & ordered a 6 piece tender & a tender salad. I got home & discovered that the broccoli, cheese, & tomato in my salad was completely rotten. I got back in my car and returned to the drive thru to request a refund. The manager Scott advised me that he had realized what happened once I purchased the salad & assured me that he had some that were made fresh today. He gave me the option to get a refund, or give me a fresh salad. He showed me the new salad which appeared fresh so I accepted it trusting that he knew what he was talking about. He also at this point offered me compensation for my trouble which included either some extra roles or a free side. Trying not to be a difficult customer, I said no thank you I don't need anything free I just want an eatable salad. When I returned home for the 2x, I found that he had given me yet another rotten salad. At this point I called the restaurant and let the manager know that my husband would be bringing the salad back and I just simply wanted my money back. ( At this point my appetite was ruined.) My husband returns home a few minutes later, and said that the manager Scott said he would not refund our money, and he accused my husband of altering the salad that he brought back as if we were simply just trying to cause him trouble. Keep in mind that half of the order we originally ordered we had no trouble with and never complained about nor did we ask for anything free. When I called the restaurant to speak to him after the third trip up there Scott (the MOD) Informs me that he already gave me the option to get a refund and I didn't take it. He also informs me that when he has to refund food it comes out of his paycheck. I'm pretty sure that rotten food should be thrown in the dumpster not Blindly sold the paying customers to keep from affecting his paycheck. I have contacted the owner. We will see if I get a response, but I do not recommend anyone eat here. I personally work in the restaurant business and I do not feel that this establishment has any concern at all for true customer satisfaction. Let me finalize this by saying this is my first ever Yelp post if that tells you how unsatisfied I was. I'm only giving one star because I have to give it atleast that.
