I noticed shingles missing from roof around January of 2020. I contacting Nick from FBC Roofing (808)772-1879. He came down that very day and did a free inspection of my roof. I am older so I was very grateful that he took his time explaining everything to me in detail. He was very patient and kind and didn't mind that I asked him questions more than once. He made me feel very comfortable and never rushed me or made me feel like he was just trying to get a sale. I was prepared to replace my own roof, but after his inspection he informed me that the damage on my roof looked like it was caused my high winds. I ended making a claim with my homeowners insurance. Nick was there to represent me when the adjuster came and took care of everything for me. Unfortunately, my claim was denied by Island Insurance. From what I hear no one gets approved my Island Insurance. He advised me that Island Insurance and Dongbu are extremely tough on paying out their clients!!! Another tip that I am grateful for. Long story short, Nick provided all of his services for free to that point and was there for us throughout. Covid struck shortly after and my wife and I have been reclused from society since, but our experience with Nick was excellent. I have been remodeling my house for over a year now and no doubt, Fullmer Brothers Construction has been the best and most professional company I have worked with. Everything was easy, they worked with my budget, helped me with ideas and anything else I needed. On the last day, a separate carpenter that I had hired didn't show up to finish a job that needed to be done before FBC could finish installing the roof. I was very upset, I called Dave (the owner) and even though he was extremely busy at the office he ran to my house and did the job for me. I couldn't believe that he would go out of his way that much to help me - it was great! Dave, Michael and Trevor were extremely professional, patient and very knowledgeable. They help me throughout the entire process, I had many questions to which they always quickly replied. English isn't my first language, so I know I was a lot of extra work for them. UPDATE: David came out and reached out and did things to make things right. I must say the fact that he took time and stop in to have a face to face conversation and really understand that situation was impressive to me. He did what he did to make the relationship good, not only offer a resolution to our concerns but to really understand the concerns we had and offered reassurance that workmanship was a priority for him and his company. Replaced not only what was broken at the time but also replaced other things out of a curtesy to resolve everything. There were misunderstandings and miscommunications but really nothing ever runs that smoothly but overall we are pleased and content with our decision to go with FBC and look forward to refereeing future business over. Called William Fullmer about wind damage to our roof 2 story (4x8 section of shingles cane off) he showed up the next day to look over the roof. He helped us go thru the process of filing a claim with the insurance company and came back when the insurance adjuster came to do a inspection. If William wasn't there to talk to the inspector the insurance would probably cover the 4x8 section. He helped to to get the whole 2nd story roof covered by the insurance company. We trusted him to do the job without getting other estimates and decided to reroof the whole house. The workers showed up on time and cleaned up everyday making sure there was no nails on the ground. There were a lot of solar panels that needed to be removed but they still got the job done on time in the 3 days. really poor customer service. the had an appointment but they did not call to cancel or show up for the appointment. do you thnk i should reconsider using them as my roofing company? would you? The owner of FBC roofing, David Fullmer came by to talk and make things "pono". He apologized for the misunderstanding and miscommunication between his company and myself. We had a good talk about what and why I felt the way I did. He said he understood it and apologized again. In addition to that, he offered to reduce the cost for all of the work I was intending to have done. I intend to stop getting any additional estimates for the roofing and gutters work I was planning, and wait for a written copy of the agreement /contract for his companies services that we discussed and agreed on. We highly recommend Fullmer Brothers Construction. The project manager- Derek Rothschild is very professional, knows what he is doing, assisting us during the entire process: from filing the claim, being on site when the adjuster came, to the day that the new roof was installed. The company caters to all needs, they were able to bring in a smaller dumpster to fit in our narrow driveway, (other companies would have charged more).The crew was very professional, they came on time and finished the job in one day. After the job was done, they left no trace behind, except a BRAND NEW ROOF, cleaned up all the debris like they were never here. We are very happy customers! ! Owner BS me trying to fix a hole in my roof I don't have. N he said he went on my roof when my mom said nobody went on the roof. Then the owner told my mom to go fuk her self on the phone when my mom said she was home me and nobody came in the yard and went onto the roof I went into the attic n I didn't see any hole in the roof n I had another roofing company come and inspect my roof n they said nothing is wrong there's no issues that would cost 1500 to repair read more

I had no idea that my brother set up an inspection for my roof with FBC, so when Nick knocked on my door I was caught off guard.
