I have a 2005 Ford Expedition 2WD and there was a vibrating/chattering sound coming from the rear end at take off when turning left or right. Based on some web research, it related to the limited slip rear differential. I called a few shops and let them know what was going on and they went directly to dropping the rear end, replacing the parts, etc... a $1K plus job. Luckily I found Fearless Gear. I explained the situation to Alec and because the sound only came from take off, he didn't think the differential needed to be replaced and a simple service with some additives would do the trick. After the service, the sound was gone almost immediately and he said it would get better and better as the additives worked their way into the gears. The guys at FG fixed the rear axle on my truck (2003 Ram 1500). My truck started making noise from the rear axle after driving from L.A. to Fresno. I was new in Fresno so I went to the Dodge dealer first. They quoted me over $3500 for a new rear pinion bearing. Too much money and their customer service gave me no confidence. I found FG online and gave them a try. The guys working here are extremely helpful and honest. I dropped my truck off; the owner greeted me and we talked about the problem, then he offered me a ride back to my rental car. Super cool guy! The next day I get a call with an explanation of all the work I needed. It all sounded good. They got the work done and my truck is still running one year later.
