First of all, the are not affordable. They were more then every place I've recently got a bid. I paid 5400.00 5 yrs. ago. To start off, the first time i took my truck there, i had a small problem and the mechanic started to fix it with a zip tie.i walked into the office and had them fix it right. That should have been a red flag. Then i took it my truck back to have my transmission rebuilt. When ipicked it up, i asked the guy in the office if the same guy that did my last repair was the same guy that rebuilt my transmission. He said yes. I knew right then i was going to have problems. About 1 1/2 years later i started having problems. Hi rpms before it would shift, rough shifts, not shifting at all over 3000 rpms. I definitely would not recommend this place and i see lots of other complaints in yelp also. DO NOT USE AFFORDABLE TRAMSMISSION. I'm sure you will regret this choice...! JEFF

I was told it could be a chain, the body valve or even need a new transmission. 455$ which is just for a diagnostic to get in there so I passed on this. BS. Took it elsewhere for a second opinion. Just needed a drain and refill: my advice is to take it to oreillys where they will read the code for free and then tell you what parts you'll possibly need. I had given this place the benefit of the doubt even though last time they made my wife cry by insulting her vehicle and charging her 150$ diagnostic which she never agreed to. Her mobile paperwork was different from what they could see on their end. Waste of time

Went to check out a used car, test drove it, but wanted to get I inspected and it was after hours for shops. Told my sales lady I'd find a place and be back as soon as they opened the next morning. Got an appointment booked and I'm on the way out the door to the dealer when I was told by the sales lady her GM said I could no longer take the vehicle to get inspected because someone was coming in to look at it. Mind you I'm sitting in my car about to drive there as I'm being told this. I 100% would've been there before this other person. I call back a few hours later to get a status update and THAT PERSON WAS TAKING IT FOR AN INSPECTION NOW. Was basically told to kick rocks by the GM, idk if it was his family member or buddy or something but the GM cost his sales lady a sale and I will definitely not be doing business here with any of my future purchases.
