    FedEx. Where now meets NEVER.
    Richard C.

Our company fired FedEx today. They've been a disaster for the last two years. The number one complaint is they almost always miss their deadlines to deliver packages. If we ship 100 packages, 90 of them won't arrive on time. It doesn't matter how much we pay or what level of service we choose, things arrive behind schedule. And it's not just a few hours late, we're talking 1-2 days on overnight and express packages. Most of our clients are residential deliveries and packages seem to virtually always be delivered late, and if we're lucky at the very last minute. FedEx doesn't provide any information as to why this happens either, and all we see on our shipping portal is "Potentially Delayed." Our customers often get understandably furious. My advice is to maybe try UPS, but honestly you're better off saving your money and shipping via DHL or the US Postal Service. FedEx has been in a freefall decline for YEARS and there are no signs of it turning around. As for their employees, they are overworked, understaffed, forced to adhere to unrealistic standards which means package delivery is rushed and done without care; often leading to damaged, missing, and stolen items.

Delivery as left by FedEx... Twice

OK, Up front this is a rant against FedEx. Twice now we have ordered deliveries from Costco, 160 lbs of dogfood. Twice now there have been delivery instructions included in the delivery orders and twice now they have been deliberately ignored. For those of you who don't know I am a veritable Paraplegic due to my back. Delivery instructions were to come on in the gate and deliver to the sliding glass door because there is no way for me to lug them 200 yards from the gate to the house. Instructions were electronic and on a sign on the gate. Additionally there was a sign on the gate plus signs saying "Gate Opens Out" and do not block gate and BOTH Times FedEx has completely ignored the delivery instructions and all of the signs. They have been just dumping it at the gate so we couldn't even open it. If you have a choice DO NOT USE FEDEX GROUND. RUDE AND I RELIABLE.

Zoom in and look at the driveway/parking lot surface. If you care about your car then don't drive here

A disgrace. It's a massive distribution center. Just driving up Avenida del Oro is painful and backbreaking enough. Once you arrive at the parking lot good luck finding customer parking. I finally found the designated spots. They are very close to the small Outpost building. If you're there to pick up packages you need to read the sign carefully on the lock door. The parking lot is a joke. I can't figure out why it has so many rocks and pebbles on the surface but it literally feels like I'm driving on a gravel lined road. I feared for my vehicle's paint and wheels.

I guess FedEx employees can't read... no longer they deliver to the wrong addresses...

FedEx Driver from this location made a delivery without wearing a mask. This is the 9th time total a FedEx Driver has come to our office building without wearing a mask, first time I was able to confirm from FedEx Customer Support that the driver came from this distribution center. Each time this happens I call FedEx, get the distribution center the driver came from and make a call to our County's Health & Safety Code Compliance to file a report. Code Compliance has confirmed that FedEx is breaking health and safety protocols during Covid-19 when their employees and independent contractors do not wear a mask during delivery. Shame on FedEx.

Delay everyday. Just get around to it whenever you have time I guess...

Absolutely phenomenal experience at the FedEx Office on Vista Way (at El Camino Real)!…read moreI came in to help my elderly neighbor shred a massive amount of old documents -- we're talking 159 lbs of paper! I wasn't sure how this was going to work, but the assistant manager was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating from the moment we walked in. He let me take all the time I needed to sort and prep everything, never rushed us, and even checked in to make sure we were doing okay. His positive attitude made what could have been a stressful chore feel easy and almost fun. This guy went so far above and beyond that I honestly can't thank him enough. Everyone working there was friendly, but the assistant manager truly made the visit exceptional. If you need printing, shipping, shredding, or anything else, this is the location to go to -- great people who actually care. Highly recommend!

I came in the evening to print a flyer for Mother's Day. My printing job was an 11 x 17 and when I…read morewalked in it was empty so it seems like a good time to come in. I immediately walked up to the service printing Counter where the registers are located. I was greeted and I explained my printing job to the sales associate. She was kind and respectful and helped me print out what I needed to print in five minutes I was ready to check out and head out. Overall the print job came out great. Based my experience I would say that the confusion with prices comes with the service . FedEx office offers two different printing services... They offer self serve printing and service printing. Basically the difference is the staff can take your item and print it for you. Or you go to the machine and basically figure it out on your own. My flyer was supposed to cost me $1.52 if I did it on my own, But since it looked a little too complicated for me before closing and I asked a staff member to print it for me... they added a service charge which went up to $4.70. Any other day I would take the time and figure it out on my own. I do think it is a bit excessive for FedEx to add a service charge for them to basically provide customer service. It's kind of like you're basically paying for their time. I know there's some people that would probably come in and be confused on how to operate the machine and figure out the dimensions of how they want to print their order out. I think it's just a little bit excessive.
