Whenever we are down the shore we try to make a stop at Federico's because they never disappoint. The sweet tomato sauce they use in their pizza and dishes is truly one of a kind and so delicious. The crust on the pizza is crispy and light and also very flavorful. Their entrees are huge enough to eat for two. Two thumbs up!
This is our go-to pizza spot in the area. Solid Italian food, our order is always correct, and the delivery time is quick. We like their chicken wings (always super crispy), pizzas, mozzarella sticks, zucchini sticks, and salads. It's a pretty large menu and we haven't tried anything that we haven't liked.
The staff is friendly and the pizza is fantastic. Try the grandma slice, you won't regret it.
Pizza came out soupy the last 2 times I ordered. The cheese slid off the entire pizza. Not sure if they have new people here but wasn't great. Gotta bump it down to 4 stars.
Very good pizza! We tried two different ones. One was the pizza provolone which is on this super thick crust. The other was the white pizza which was on a thin crust. They were totally different from each other but equally tasty! The Pizza Provolone had more robust flavor, but I'm not sure how I feel about the thick crust. It's good, but it's not as pizza-y to me. (And it's served square instead of circle so that's a personal dislike.) Both pizzas were delicious hot and fresh, but as leftovers to eat cold the next day, they didn't quite hit the mark for me.
Omg!!!! No exaggeration !!! Some of the best pizza and garlic knots we've ever had and we didn't get fresh slices! Their slogan says "people over profit" and it shows in their service and taste in food! We ordered two garlic knots, and when she brought it to our table, there were four, two on the house just because. Just really sweet. Look at all that fresh garlic!!!! *homer drool *
Good, solid pizza that I would go back and get another slice anytime I'm in the area. Great business all around and well run. I read that the owner took out a loan at the beginning of the pandemic to pay his employees and that to me says a lot. I love supporting small businesses especially ones like this that really care about their employees and the community!
I stopped by with a couple of friends for a quick dinner at 8:05 pm. We asked if they're BYOB and the server didn't know what that meant. We explained and he said, I don't know. He stood around listening and heard a customer tell us where to go to buy a bottle of wine. We returned at 8:28 pm, my friend sat at their patio and waited for someone to come out but another server just stared from inside. Not until she got up and went inside was she told that they're not sitting anyone because they close at 9pm. What upsets me is that they're not very customer oriented. We're very disappointed to not have been allowed to even order a slice and sit without being waited on. The one star is for the Poor customer service. They rather lose three customers than try to accommodate us. If it were 5 minutes to closing I'd understand but that's ridiculous. Another friend went inside to ask if they could reconsider without them waiting on us and she turned me away.
While we were down in Belmar, a friend had recommended this restaurant to us. We also learned that the owner was featured in the news recently having taken a line of credit to pay his staff during the lockdown- what a wonderful consideration to his crew. We enjoyed the "Federico's Salad" which was fresh and big enough for two and more. We decided on a Grandma's pie with sausage, onions, and mushroom. Although the crust was crisp and hot, the pie was too wet. Perhaps we shouldn't have had the toppings. Our waitress was accommodating, attentive and friendly. We took the leftovers home to enjoy on another day.

Literally the worst food I've had in a while. Ordered delivery - the sub was cold, the meat was stale. Took 3 bites and threw the rest out it was so disgusting. And the cheesy garlic bread? I can easily make better at home. read more
A staple in town - very popular. Quite warm inside from the ovens and body heat. Pizza is standard NY style and classic Italian entrees that are nice in portion size and flavored well. Great white pizza, garlicky flavor. The cheesesteak however (although stuffed) was a little flavorless and very messy--the oil seeping through the bread, bag, and onto my clothes. No bueno. I will say the half size was more than enough though for the average person. Have not found service to be overly friendly here. Would still return for some classic, old school fare. read more

Pizza was delicious. Delivery service was quick. The calamari was obviously overcooked and too tough to eat. It should have never been sent for delivery. Very disappointed. read more

Good, not great, this week. Considering all the other pizza places nearby, competition is tight. As usual, we went right during busy season-Friday dinner. I have had worse but overall chewy, a bit stale and cheese did nothing to make this a great pie. Easy pass for other local places. Rankings this far: Palumbo's Gianni's Federico's Enzo's Cheapest of the four for one whole but it shows. read more
These guys have been here forever. And for a middle-of-the road pizza place, it has morphed into a decent restaurant. Keep in mind, though it's not gourmet, bring the whole family and it won't break the bank. I wanted the hot mussels with linguini. Very tasteful and Gianna, my server, got right on it. Must admit that when they bring bread w/butter to the table, it was enough for three people. That threw me for a loop. Most restaurants are getting "tighter" with their bread offerings. Not Federico's. read more

Stopped in here the other night, definitely a great pizza spot. The place had indoor and outdoor seating, pretty busy. Got some slices, the Sicilian was good and also got the slice with pepperoni and sausage on it. Very good as well. Friendly employees, go try it out! read more
We had a quick lunch here today and it was great. From the outside we weren't sure if it was open, but once we got closer we realized there were quite a few people there. It was seat yourself service and we were greeted by a server quickly. If you want slices you order at the counter and if you want to see the whole menu the server will bring it out to you. We ended up getting slices- grandmas slice (absolutely delicious), peppers and onion, Buffalo chicken, pepperoni. All the slices were reheated to perfection. I like when a slice of pizza isn't floppy when you hold it up, but isn't tough either. This was just perfect. We overachieved and got 6 garlic knots and ended up packing 4 to take home. Everyone working here was super nice! We're so glad we stopped by to grab a quick bite before going home. read more

Great local spot in Belmar. Loved their salad with artichoke and grilled shrimp. Large portions and the balsamic dressing was amazing! I can't wait to try their grandma pie. read more
