    Meatballs. Yummy!!
    Christina H.

Got the meatballs this time and they were excellent! The marinara sauce is great. Perfect addition to a pizza And I love the Caesar salad!! Dressing is so good and flavorful you don't need extra dressing.

Staff was friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good air conditioning on a hot day. Gluten free options available. Food was bland. Sauce tastes like tomato paste. Everything needed salt. A quick meal on a beach day if you don't want beach snack bar but wouldn't return for a dinner.

    BREADED EGGPLANT Parm Sandwich

Cute little shop with a great variety of Italian menu items. I ordered the eggplant parm sandwich on focaccia bread with a side salad and prickly pear soda (on tap!). The soda was really lovely and refreshing. The eggplant was delightfully crispy and fresh. The salad was dressed in a yummy sweet onion dressing. My only comment would be that the bread was not the olive oily/herby focaccia I had imagined when I ordered it; it was more of a crispy pizza crusty texture and flavor. It was fine, but not as advertised. I'd come back to try other items.

    This place is OUTSTANDING!

This is the first time that we attended this Tino's site and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is not large, but the food is VERY GOOD. The decor is appealing and the service is exceptional. Ohhh, FYI.... Tino's is BYOB. We ordered the Margherita Pizza, Tortellone Pasta, and Chicken Parm platter. All were delicious and there were no leftovers. One thing that really impressed me was the pasta straws, for our drinks. I wish the entire planet would use these straws! Kudos to Tino's for incorporating these wonderful items. I highly recommend Tino's Artisan Pizza and know that you'll enjoy your meal, here.

decided to come here when visiting ocean grove/asbury inside is nice, you can sit outside and eat too don't come here if it's busy because it was 6pm, there was an average amount of people here and the 4 kids working still took a while. about 7 people outside and like 5 inside including us. after getting our food our waitress never came back to ask if we need anything, if the foods good, nada the utensils had visible dirt/something on them when we opened the napkins, when my mom told the waitress, she didn't seem too phased. didn't say sorry or anything just took them and said "would you like new utensils" LOL now for the food: chicken bites were good but hella bland, "antibiotic" and all that. they're baked instead of fried, and they lowkey taste like antibiotic chicken bites you could get in bags from shoprite/walmart for cheaper, actually tasted like the chicken tenders i got at wawa yesterday. got the american pie, was pretty good and tasted fresh, but way too small. i asked for a coke they said the "italian cola" is the closest thing, it's just a worse coke with less soda amount and less ingredients. i thought it was cool they gave you the bottle and you can poor it in the glass or drink from the bottle. tasted fine but like it was flat. my mom got a black cherry soda it didn't taste like much, tasted more like a cherry seltzer. was okay tiramisu was pretty good and only 7 dollars overrated imo but good if ur vegan or a health nut i guess. not a fan of how defensive the owner is against bad reviews, just copying and pasting replies and deflecting instead of acknowledging criticisms.

This was my first time at Tino's Ocean Grove location. I'm familiar with the business, since I have happily frequented the one in Kingston. As I've become accustomed to, this location did not disappoint. From the service, food to location everything was great. We sat at an outdoor table along Main Street. Our server was very friendly. Once our order was taken, it did not take too long for our food to arrive. The restaurant was packed inside and out. My friend and I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and Chicken Parmigiana sandwiches. Both accompanied by a salad were terrific. Our only complaint was that there was not enough marinara sauce, but our waiter gladly brought us out some extra so all was good in the world. We both enjoyed our lunch and would not hesitate to eat here again.

Handmade with all quality ingredients and you can tell! Delicious pizza. The use nothing with junk in it, their motto is literally "no junk pizza". It's a small place in a quaint little town by the beach. I will definitely make a point of getting back there.

This was a cozy spot. Walking distance from the boardwalk and the ocean. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food that we got. We actually ordered way too much because on the menu it says the pizza feeds about 1 to 2 people. They were actually very wrong. The pizza can probably feed about two and a half people. We got three different type of pizza and have to say everything was quite delicious and fresh. We also ordered the eggplant parmesan sandwich as well as one of the salad, and it was both quite decent. The portion size were very generous. Service was extremely friendly and we felt very well taken care of. They do not have alcohol on the menu. Not sure if they are BYOB. Overall a great spot and would definitely recommend!

Tino's gluten free pizza crust and vegan cheese pie. This was the Amatriciana red pie. Soo good.

Etc, etc. A little over a week before, received a call saying they couldn't honor the reservation due to a "booking system oversight" with Resy. They first offered to move my reservation to Friday or Sunday, which didn't fit our schedule. I requested a different time on Saturday night, and was told they were not accepting guests at all that night. Then they offered to move us to a completely different restaurant a few towns away, as in not the beach town we were hoping for. The whole experience was shady, and I don't buy the "booking oversight". It just seems like my reservation was bumped for another party or event. It would've been better to simply be honest. I understand the efforts to still get my money, but if you won't honor the original reservation to begin with, why would I trust you enough to make another one? At the very least, compensation for the disappointing experience would have been nice - drinks on the house, free dessert, anything really. I wanted to go here to try food by the up and coming Chef Viana, but it seems he cares more about being on the Food Network than his actual customers.

Case in point - this restaurant has apparently been in the downtown area for several years and I had no idea. I stopped by here for lunch on Memorial Day with the Millennial Chum, and in a totally risky move, didn't make a reservation anywhere and just decided to wing it. The Millennial Chum's only requirement was that it be a place neither one of us had been to before, so after a very quick search/walk, we noticed this place and also decided we had a hankering for Italian. Done. I don't know how to describe the interior, but "yellow" and "modern" comes to mind. This isn't a stodgy white tablecloth kind of place; it's vibrant and hip, I'm sure trying to capture that classic Asbury demo. Really unique. The weather was a little meh, which worked in our favor - although there was a decent amount of foot traffic in the downtown area 70% of which were pooches, only one other table was occupied in here. We were able to sit down and were served very promptly. We were both very intrigued by one of the apps on the verbal specials menu - mango burrata, which sounded like sort of a mess, but also worth a try. Definitely more of the latter. Never would have thought to combine these two ingredients together, but it was really excellent and an interesting palate pairing. The presentation was solid as well, and this...didn't last long, although given that we both ordered entrees perhaps we should have been more responsible in that regard. Something I'd recommend for the regular menu in the future for sure. A lot of the entrees looked interesting and pretty authentic; this isn't just spaghetti and chicken parm (I'm not actually sure either was even on the menu). The one that emotionally spoke to me the most was the Pappardelle (one of my fave pastas and always pleased to see it) Al Telefono Nostro. Really hit the spot, and as you can see a really hardcore portion. The tomato cream sauce was light and flavorful, and the only nitpick I had (just a personal palate preference) was the inclusion of the sliced tomatoes. I'm sure a ton of people love those, and it basically adds a level of authenticity to the dish that a barbarian like me just can't quite appreciate. I made sure the Millennial Chum had a few tomato pieces though. Really good dish and would order it again. Honestly not sure what possessed us to even look at the dessert menu much less actually order from it, but I thought Oreo Tiramisu sounded interesting, despite the Millennial Chum's yowling that she despised tiramisu. It turns out she doesn't, because once this dish arrived she happily helped herself and decided that her opinion on tiramisu was likely based on a traumatic/misleading childhood incident. Bare minimum, this place gets solid marks for rewriting history for her in the Italian dessert department. But it WAS delicious, which was a theme of our meal. The service was top-notch; our waitress was over regularly and had a strong command of the menu (which I think deserves bonus points, given that this was not Americanized and it helped to have a metaphorical lifeguard helping us navigate some of the trickier stuff; I studied abroad in Florence over 20 years ago, but you'd never know it). Very pleasant. BIg recommend; not a ton of establishments under the radar in Asbury, but this might be one of them.

Let's start off with the fact that it is so tastefully decorated for the holiday season. I absolutely loved it. It was very clean very classic. Now onto the drinks. The wine menu was amazing. I settled on a glass of Pinot Grigio and then after dinner I tried one of their pistachio martinis, which was absolute heaven in a martini glass. I actually even ordered a second one because I don't know when I will ever get back down here I loved the bread service.
