If I could rate less than 1 star I would. I would absolutely not recommend FedEx to anyone, no matter how urgently you need something delivered and if a product you're ordering will be shipped via FedEx, I advise you to re-think the purchase. My "signature-required" package was estimated to be delivered today between 11:45 AM - 1:45 PM. So, I sat around waiting to sign for the package. After waiting until 2:40 PM, I received a notice that the estimated delivery time changed to 2:50 PM. At 2:55 PM, as I sat by my front door waiting to sign for my package, I received a notice that a delivery attempt was made and no one was home. The driver not only failed to READ the numerical townhome unit number, but then proceeded to take an illegible photo of the wrong unit number that he tried to deliver to. So, not only did I waste my ENTIRE day waiting to sign for a package, I walked around my ENTIRE neighborhood looking for the address where he placed the attempted delivery slip. To make matters worse, it took me almost 2 hours and countless calls to get a REAL PERSON on the phone for FedEx. It's ALL AROUND POOR SERVICE at every juncture in the process! I am highly disappointed and will use UPS every chance I get and I advise everyone to consider the same. read more

The FedEx facility in Dayton must be staffed with stoned, drunk, or just lazy incompetents managed by another layer of ineffective morons. Packages arrive here and languish for days. The FedEx tracking software on their website is equally as sh*tty as once a package hits the Dayton location it reports delivery is scheduled for "Today" but don't get excited... it changes every day pushing your estimated delivery time out another day or two. At least four of my deliveries that had the bad luck to go through Dayton, have been either lost or delayed for 3-4 days. I'm at the point where I won't shop online if the vendor uses FedEx. read more

I ordered a gift for my son's fifth birthday and it's been out of stock at multiple stores for many weeks and I finally found one in stock and I ordered it. It was supposed to come through FedEx yesterday, but they delivered the package to the wrong house. I got a notification saying that the package was delivered, but I was at home and there was nothing on the porch. The proof of delivery picture they had uploaded was a picture of the package on a porch that was not mine. I called FedEx right away because this was not the first time this has happened. The same thing had happened in the past for two other packages where they deliver the package to an address that sounds similar to mine, but it's not. So I called FedEx right away, and I asked to speak to a supervisor because the representative was absolutely useless. The supervisor was very nice and helpful. She said that she spoke to the Station and someone will go get the package from the wrong house and bring it to my house within the next two hours. I was naïve to believe that because it is now the next day and I still do not have my package and every time I call FedEx, the representative basically keeps telling me the same thing that the station is working on having the driver pick up the package from the wrong house and delivering it to me. They have no updates, no sense of responsibility, and is absolutely the worst company to pick for shipping. I get packages delivered to me from Amazon and UPS all the time and never has this happened where they deliver my package to a different address. Somehow FedEx has done this so many times even though I have always put my correct delivery address so I'm not sure what the people in FedEx are doing but they are not doing their job. I wish I was able to pick how I wanted my package delivered and by who but I ordered something because if I was, I would never choose FedEx.. the last time I had ordered a personalized chair for my son and the initial one they delivered to the wrong address, which was actually the same address they delivered the package to this time, and they opened a ticket and told me they're going to try to get the package back but a day later they called me and said they exhausted all options and basically did not help me at all. Luckily the company that I bought the chair was nice enough to send me a replacement because they felt bad that FedEx did not help me. The second time the chair was sent I opted to pick it up from a station near me because once again they were unable to find the right house. I'm sick and tired of calling them again and again and getting the same answer, I should have had the package yesterday. This is my second review in the past 10 days, and I'm really frustrated. The first package was held by FedEx at this location for over four days when it was supposed to be delivered in two. By the time it finally arrived, my order was no good (fresh produc). Then, the company (very generous) sent out a second package Monday morning, and a week later it yet to begin delivered or updated on the eta. I reached out to FedEx and was told the package wasdamaged"! This location had my frozen produce (well sealed with a star foam in a boxed), so for seven days they just heal this "damaged" item with no updates at all?Either something shady is going on at this location, or they're just messing up all around. FedEx has become a shabby business with no internal control. It is now a franchise operation and the routes are bought and sold with no concern as to the reliability of the operators. All of this was done to make a few more bucks for the guys at the top. As for my current package, it's been repeatedly listed as leaving the same location at multiple times. Before that it spent nearly a week in one office that told me I had to tell them everything in it (the shipper did this). I wonder if they plan to steal it? 4/25/22 I have had HUNDREDS(!!) of misdelivered packages to neighbors, adjacent streets, had packages ripped open and busted the driver on my Ring carrying the package opened and looked right at my camera (GOTCHYA!), had my stuff smashed in the box outside my door--- ALL FROM THIS DAYTON NJ HUB. --- I have called, emailed, texted, complained via phone and email and nothing ever gets fixed; just promises and no resolution! --- I AHVE ASKED FOR THE REGIONAL MANAGER OR SOMEONE HIGH-UP ON MY CALLS AND GET PEOPLE WHO NEVER FIT THE BILL. --- I have a tone of pictures, I even have videos but Yelp won't allow the video unfortunately. --- I filed a bunch of complaints today with the BBB, Attorney General's Office and Consumer Affairs. --- I don't know how any company could have hundreds of complaints and do nothing to fix it! --- April 25, 2022! That terminal has poor management. I started off as a package handler and moved up to QA. Since I got promoted to that position, the manager for that department has been constantly harassing me. I was under a P&D manager, Tyler Vasquez. When I got promoted I was told there would be a $2 increase. When I asked about it Ms. Vasquez told me everyone gets started off with the same pay and it's not based off experience. I took the position anyway even though it was a 90 cents increase because I liked working for FedEx and in hopes I would advance in my position in the near future. As time went on, while working in that department Ms Vasquez decided to bully me in front of other employees in unload. Ms. Vasquez came to unload while I was amongst other employees to tell me "oh if you can't pick this box up you can go home. I don't want nobody to help her". After that situation I then felt the need to speak to my HR rep Vivian. While speaking to the HR rep about the situation I then also asked about my promotion and pay rate. I was then told it it is also based on experience. I proceeded to say I have over 12 years of experience and received a 90 cents increase while Ms.Vasquez was hiring male employees and giving them a $2 increase with or without experience. My HR rep told me my pay will increase when the portal opens up for pay raises so I waited. Fast forward, now there's a problem with me and my assignments. I was moved from one belt to another and when asked I was told everyone will be changed to learned the different belts. A whole year past no one else was ever assigned to a different belt and all I was told from Ms. Vasquez is, "No matter where I put you people seem to just gravitate towards you". There was a full time position that was open that no other employees had a chance to apply for but was given to another employee. When asked about the position I was told the other received the full time position from FedEx. I once again proceeded to ask my HR rep Vivian. The rep then told me she was not sure when that portal was open for the position because she handles 4 terminals and told me whatever Ms.Vasquez told her about 2 employees resigning. After speaking up because I think everyone deserves a fair chance to apply for the position, Ms.Vasquez started eliminating my tasks. Everyone was getting 5 tasks to do throughout the day I only received 2. After two weeks I asked Ms.Vasquez about the tasks. I was then told that these are the task that's given. I then proceeded to asked "If you are my direct manager of this department and you are assigning these task then why am I only receiving two while everyone else is receiving 5 or more." Again, her response "Those are the tasks that's given." I did not feel that was an reasonable response so I then told my senior manager and told him I will be contacting HR. This time I made a call to the alert line. Once I made a claims after a few weeks I was contacted and was told they will look into it. A month passed by and I did not see any improvement or any changes being made so I called for a follow up. I was then told it was closed and resolved. I replied saying it was not resolved because it's no improvement same results. I then received a call from my HR rep to asked me what's going on. This is the first time my HR rep Vivian spoke to me about the situation. I then told her everything and she said she did not know about my tasks all she knew about was the full time position. Once again my HR rep never asked me any follow up questions went directly to Ms.Vasquez and asked her and again Ms. Vasquez told her whatever she wanted to tell her. While I did speak to my HR rep when she did call I did tell her I did not feel like she was helping me because Ms Vasquez tells multiple employees "we can go to her" meaning hr rep, "nothing will happen to her" meaning Ms.Vasquez , "because we are cool". After constant bullying and harassment I decided to resign because no one did anything to help me. Even the senior manger did not do anything because Ms Vasquez will claim that "he favors me" as " me"being myself. I am about the 7th person that resigned due to bullying and harassment from this management. She has been with FedEx over 10 years and from the time I known her she has constantly harassed and bullied people she does not like and when they speak up, including myself, she plays victim. The code of conduct is only convenient when they want it to be convenient. There's an employee there by the name of Tahira Stewart that harassed another employee on social media but nothing was done but every time she calls HR someone gets in trouble because that's Ms. Vasquez friend. After resigning, I went back to the facility to pick up some belongings I left behind. I did not get terminated and was told I could not enter the building because I no longer there. read more

I was expecting a FedEx package yesterday (10/19) and after waiting the whole day got the status that they attempted delivery and we were not there at home. Actually my entire family was at home. Then today (10/20)I found a package sitting in my driveway that was meant for somebody else at some other address. And later got status that they attempted delivery today also. They literally suck. I had left a note at the door saying we all are there at home. But the driver didn't even come till door. FedEx at Dayton sucks. read more

A package that was scheduled to be delivered by FedEx Dayton on Saturday, was not even delivered on the following Monday. Now FedEx is stating that the delivery will be made on Tuesday. This Fedex ground location has thieves working there. I have had 2 baggage of mine being stolen from this location by the employees and haven't been provided any resolution on the same. Everytime the package went through this location, my baggage was stolen. Dont send luggage bags via fedex if they end up in this location they would most probably be stolen!!!!!!!!! read more

When I get a package that goes through this facility (at least 6 shipments so far), they NEVER deliver it on the day they said it would be delivered. Apparently the driver does not know where to bring it into my office building and always codes it tried but not deliverable. I have to call the customers service line (your must try not to answer so many questions because of IA responses. Just say representative until it gives up and sends you to a real person) to inform them where to deliver the package. This is time consuming and frustrating. I do not have any issues with UPS, USPS or DHL. I have shifted my business to another carrier and will try to use others when items are shipped to my office. You will be better off using another service if you can. read more

Twice within a month the person or persons who are at this shipping center have delivered my packages late (once it was medical supplies), claiming both times the address was incorrect. Both times it was proven the address is not incorrect, and, knowing GPS the way I do, I know that entering my address takes you directly to my driveway!
