However, moving my items to a storage unit was an easy, enjoyable process. When I asked about the fee discrepancy, the answer was "tax". I think better communication before the fact would have solved these issues. If you use them bear in mind your items may be transported with others' and this could result in not enough space in truck. Make sure you make an accurate inventory before you call. I'm recently hired them for a move this weekend, confirming them multiple times throughout the…read moremonth before the actual move. When I scheduled it I made it admittedly clear that they can't smoke cigarettes or weed while working with my stuff and they didn't listen. My stuff smelled like weed. Which upset me, I specifically stated I didn't want that around my stuff. When it was scheduled they were supposed to be at my home between 8:30-9:30am. Which they weren't, kept getting pushed back and back. They finally showed up at 6:45pm. The packing went ok up until them bouncing my washer, My dryer and freezer down the stairs. When they got to my new home my stuff reaked with the smell of weed. As they are bring in my family air loom dining room table one of the movers using the wrong bit to put in and most likely strip the screw in the table. They also lost the screws to my stand up freezer so I can't put door back on and lost thousands of dollars of food. Not to mention that my house and my garage smells like weed!! Definitely wouldn't recommend or ever use them again!!

I gave up after 3 emails exchanges with no answers no changes in the inventory and no apologies. their estimate is a long hurdle of legal binding agreements however... don't get fooled by their fee lower than other movers company it could become very expensive

My house closed late and last minute and needed something quick and didn't have many options - never again...My 5k bedroom set completely destroyed beyond repair and Raymour and Flanagan has to replace the entire thing including the bed and dresser. Thank god I have insurance. My brand new kitchen table scratched and gouged. My children's beds screws were put in too tightly and the frames are cracked in addition to the scratches on everything. My aunts Hope cheat (who just died) smashed and broken. To top all of this off, they didn't say a word to me about the bedroom set, the chest they said it was rotted (it is absolutely not). They left large items at the first house, showed up late, weren't finished until almost 6 after saying this would be a 6 hour job (took them 8.5 and they didn't even get everything). They complained the whole time. The woman sat her sweaty body in my son's nursery recliner and upon approaching her laughed, said I caught her sleeping, and didn't move. Completely unprofessional, rude, liars, and nasty. Spoke ill of people we mutually knew and told me about all of the open court cases she had going on after they had already moved my things. After addressing the items left behind through messages, she was rotten and nasty about how tired they were among other things. After the back and forth I stopped responding to her because I no longer felt comfortable being around her for fear she would attack me or do something else. If I could leave negative stars I would. If I could do it all again I would have NEVER went with this company and don't better due diligence. And instead of apologizing and owning up to what they did, they argued with me and said my items were already broken and damaged. I said I would pay the remaining balance after the items were fixed and she said that wasn't happening and squared me up. I'm not here to argue with a grown woman with my children in my home and make them afraid or have myself or them get hurt. I just want to share my experience so others are aware especially people who they think they can take advantage of, like single moms.

So I, the 62 year old man, had to share in the heaviest lifting. And still, the owner had the gall to tell me that she should have charged more because there were two steps - literally two - that she didn't know of in advance. I was exhausted at the end of the day because by necessity I joined the moving crew.
