I had a last minute package to get out, it was Wednesday October 22 around 5:55 pm, near the time of last pickup. The gentleman (and I do mean gentleman) came over to help me find the right size box for the documents I was sending out. He helped me pack them, scan the barcode, and made sure they went out on the truck. This fellow really went above and beyond good customer service. I just wished I had gotten his name. But then, most of my interactions with this location has been good or better. And definitely sensitive to helping someone with a last minute package. This place is the best! read more

I had to fax 17 pages within US to a toll free number. Associate told me that it would be $3.50 for first page and $2.50 for subsequent pages. My total charge was coming to be $42.90. I ordered document prints online at 4am and they were ready for pick up at the store before 11am. No, I am not some FedEx Office VIP. I am but a mere mortal, in need of quality, somewhat sizable print jobs. They called me before 11am today, and I'd like to note that that was the standard pick-up time for my 4am order- not even a rush job. This was no big deal them. I walk in at my leisure a little after 2:00 where I'm greeted by Gary, my friendly neighborhood print master. He grabbed my boxed up order right quick and took the time to wait while I checked to see that my multiple docs were printed correctly, and on the right paper. Perfect! As soon as I gave the go ahead, Gary printed up the receipt for my prepaid order and I was on my way. My print job was affordable and turned out looking much nicer than I was expecting considering I had just chosen the standard paper for most of my items. read more

FedEx Kinko's is now FedEx Office. I use this one frequently. They open at 7 and have pick up times posted. I always found the combination of services offered to be rather strange. They still do all kinds of printing jobs, large and small, they have a fax to use, and yet they sell cards, card stock, other office supplies, etc in addition to shipping and shipping supplies. Will coffee be next? Anyway, they are efficient, I usually do not have to wait, and the package is delivered the next day. My only complaint with FedEx is that they do not ring the door bell when they deliver. I found out about my last delivery by tracking via my e-mail. read more

It was my first time going into a FedEx store. I must say, that the experience left me feeling completely surprised by the incredible work ethic, customer service, friendliness, displayed by Damen. He answered every one of my questions with the utmost politeness. You can tell that this young man loves his job! People like him should be rewarded for Their efforts in doing a phenomenal job. My toddler was touching everything around the counter and she was very patient with his questions. As a small business owner, I'm in need of print services for trade shows so I had a lot of questions around banners and printing marketing materials. Cheryl took the time to explain what they offer and they can attempt to get me the best deal through their bid service for large quantities. She told me about some upcoming days where some of the banners will be on sale this month too and had me sign up for their email list to be updated with their promotions. *******This paragraph is about the UPS STORE on East Boughton Bolingbrook (not FedEx), so that you know why I decided to come into a FedEx location which was a little further and out of my way! I was looking for a place to do business with on an ongoing basis for my marketing and print material needs. My last 2 experiences with the UPS Store were less than stellar (or even less than good)! One time I needed to mail a package ground and it was 7PM (their pick up is at 7:30). The young man at the counter told me since I was shipping ground, it wouldn't go out until tomorrow (?!?!?!?). I asked why it wouldn't go out with the 100 boxes sitting behind him waiting to ship. He said those are 2-day and next day packages. Ummmmmmmm, I'm fairly certain that the method of shipping should not impact the time it 'ships'. It impacts the time it is delivered! I told him to ask his manager/owner. She came out and seemed surprised he told me that and said my ground package would ship with the evening pick up. A couple of weeks later, I needed some post cards printed (approx 100) for my business and wanted to see if they could be done that day. The owner kept me on the phone about 20 minutes (putting me on hold, then getting distracted with some other issue going on) only to tell me that I should email her my document and she'll get back to me after she talks to the print guy. Needless to say, it's been over a month and I never heard back from her. I'm sticking with the FedEx store from now on! read more

I am a professional photographer and plan to ship my equipment for clean and check, spoke to Kristine from Kinko FedEx in Bolingrook IL, I provided all information including request for an additional insurance ..she said she will verify ...she said everything is fine just bring your cameras for shipping...I stopped at Kinko office around 2:45pm, fill out the form and waited for more than 15min. do not understand why have to wait since there are no other customer...finally an unhappy, rude customer service woman ( that's the one on video) told me I can't insure for the amount i requested it has to be around $100 she believes ...Furthermore, she said I must have to open the box which will damage the brand new shipping box ...( she should have told me before I wrap the box) and she demand to check cameras...her attitude was very unprofessional! Because she refuse let me ship my equipment ...I end up have to go to UPS which is more expensive but they have such great customer service! this place is ok, at best. for starters they have a couple food places next door that STINK. sub place smells like onions / body odor if it's around lunch time. seriously brutal. i do a lot of ebay shipping and since they discount fedex i'm stuck using them. the staff here is a really mixed bag. and so are some of the policies. they make you open / unpack and show them objects with a 'high' declared value. when inquiring about this it's basically up to them to determine the high value. i was made to open an item worth $500. and then they didn't even open the product box to make sure it was there, so pointless? also how the heck is someone supposed to be educated enough to know about everything people ship? antiques? come on.. nobody else does this. it blew me away the first time it happened. if you ship with prepaid labels they don't make you do it. deliveries to my house via fedex don't even get a ring of our doorbell. bought a tv set, 40" led and the box was just there on our steps plain as day when i went to go check for the normal mail. seriously it takes 2 seconds to ring the bell!!!!!! i've walked into this location many times and not been greeted, or acknowledged at all when all i had to do was drop off prepaid items. feels like this place is super cold hearted with the ceiling lights turned to the MAX and no music playing. just sterile get your work done. no wonder the employees don't seem happy. read more
