The employee at the FedEx office impolitely told me she couldn't send my package to a PO BOX address, even though I had mailed to the same address a week before without any issues. She asked her supervisor and received confirmation, and I emphasized that the PO BOX was very important. After my package was never received, I checked the mail receipt and noticed that she didn't include the Department of State PO BOX. This seemingly simple mistake caused a lot of headaches for me. Being the frequent little shipper I am, I was excited about seeing this one located on the back road home from work. Everything is nicely situated. I didn't have to guess where the shipping supplies were located. The only thing that was odd is the pony wall starting at the entrance and going about 20 feet into the store. It's separating the copy and print area I guess? It's a weird architectural feature. So I started trying to find a box for my 3 binders I was shipping. I needed tape, so I asked the guy behind the counter if I could have some. He looked over at what I was doing and said "Can I do that for you so that I won't have to undo anything you do wrong". I laughed. I really do appreciate true honesty. So he did just that. He fit my project into a box that I wouldn't have to be charged separately for since I do have an account at FedEx. That was it. He handled everything. I've never been offered to have my things packed for me at any FedEx. So this was a real treat. Plus the honesty was great. It reminded me of my former retail working self. This is probably going to be my new regular on the road shipping stop. read more

I just went to this fedex kinkos and had three things laminated. All three came out with air pockets and looked terrible. I did a fourth one with nothing in it and it came out the same with air pockets. I showed it to the female worker and she said if you don't like it you don't need to pay for it. That's when the other guy jumped in and said no it is what it is and you have to pay for it. I paid for it and then started taking pictures of the lamination and the store and that's when he said get out of here before I call the cops...... Anyone who knows me would drop their teeth if they heard me say this: I'd rather do business with the ***Post Office***. Walked in today so I could overnight an envelope to Nevada. There's a guy making copies who ultimately had to shout for the clerk's attention re a question about using the paper-cutter. Nothing else going on; I've seen more activity in the Mojave at noon. Thinking I'll buy a greeting card to go with the other stuff I'm sending, so I look at the rack for a few & pick one out. Then, I wander through the store looking for overnight envelopes, air bills & a pen. Three circuits around the store, and I'm getting tired & lost. I exit to my vehicle to get a pen there, but that doesn't solve the air bill or envelope problem. I go back inside, and the paper-cutter's still giving the other guy fits, and the overnight supplies are still hiding. When people are favorably comparing the Post Office to a business, it's time lock the doors & turn off the lights. read more

Last week, I was under a time crunch to sign and return three pages to an insurance broker in Southern Cal. I went to a UPS Office Center first, but their fax could not receive the incoming fax with the pages I had to sign. No apology or work around offered. When I then went to the Fedex store, Dominic was juggling another customer and a job, yet was able to come up with a solution to their lack of a receiving fax. He was available to answer my questions quickly so that I could receive, sign, and return the signed pages. He was very polite and helpful. Thank you for getting me out of a jamb! read more

Called to see if they did passport photos. The lady asked if she could put me on hold. I waited one hold for a while so I called back and she asked to put me on hold again. I drive there ten minutes later and no one is there and the lady is just sitting at the computer staring into space. Then I ask to look at my passport photo after she takes it and she lets out an audible sigh with an eye roll. Super professional FedEx. Great job! read more

The customer service at this Kinko's is pretty much ass which is surprising given that it is located in the heart of Danville. I guess since the only other copy machine option in the area is at the Long's Drugs, this place has it easy. I have been here twice in the last couple of months and neither time was it busy, but both times I had to ask the employees to do a job that they should have offered to do in the first place. One was to cut a bunch of paper w/ the paper cutter (I got told by the employee that she couldn't cut straight and that I should use the self service paper cutter that was already being used by someone else), the second time was for a quick purchase of card stock (which they are seriously lacking in color and quality options). The last straw w/ me and this place was when I sent my daughter over to do a color copy project for school. I sent her with money and no one offered to help her figure out how to use the machines. She walked home without any copies, so a friend walked her over and guess what? You now have to purchase a card to use one of their copiers-you can't just use cash or change in the machine. Sadly, they said they had no change and she had to put $20.00 on a Kinko's card. We have $11.60 left, so I will have to go back to use that up. Sucks. read more

It is a TERRIBLE place ...I've been to many FedEx and it is just the WORST. Save your time and money and go directly to San Ramon (great service). I find it so odd that I need to drive an extra ten miles. This morning the online system sent my job to Joe in Danville which he got wrong. When I called to request it to be corrected and he told me he was the "only" person working. He was rude and told me that he didn't save a copy of my job. I have an email from FedEx saying they will keep it on file for 30 days. I'd give Joe his walking papers... too! Just close the doors now... you are giving FedEx a BAD NAME. They do tend to get a little busy sometimes and with there only being 2 copiers in the store it can get a little frustrating but hey, what can you do? Not their fault, the store is always clean. The wait is now typically at least two people to get a machine - and all the local realtor's and mortgage brokers seem to use this place and need the machines for 20-40 minutes at a shot..... so the wait can be long. AND - NOTICE !!!! they have RAISED THE black and white copy cost to 12 CENTS each page. Harvard copy, Office Depot, and The UPS place by Lucky's are all cheaper ....... People at this FedEx location are unusually rude and patronizing. I asked them if they could place additional tape on my heavy box and they gave me a lecture how the box needs to be appropriate for the load. A second guy who was working with a different customer, interrupted what he was doing to add his comments about the required quality of the box. He assured me that my box was OK but in principle I am responsible to provide an adequate package. They also promised to place the additional tape on my box, but they only had transparent tape not the good reinforced paper tape one gets at UPS. A very unpleasant experience. Quite the opposite of how I am treated at UPS. And this is not the first time that I was treated poorly at this location. It makes me want to avoid FedEx and go to UPS instead. read more

Well I have been a customer at this Kinko's for quite some time now. I have had things personalized, posters made for Reunions, printed photos, a variety of things but as of today I am so done with them !!!!! I purchased a Blue Tooth Type Earpiece just yesterday....told the young man I had lost my Planatronic one....asked if this worked well was told of course " No complaints ! " BUT I found my earpiece so therefore did not need this one, I took it back within twenty four hours had not used it but had opened part of the package, The manager said " We can do nothing for you if opened cannot refund you ! " Are you kidding me ????? I am a vey patient lady but this is unacceptable......I cannot believe they did this ! One of my friends bought an earpiece awhile back from another reputable company ! it did not fit her ear the correct way they had no whims about it just credited her account.....and it was much more expensive the price of course should not matter it is the principle of this problem. I have done a lot of business at Kinko's but I am finished with them told the manager that they should specify NO returns if that in fact is their policy..............they lost a good and a loyal customer and I will let my family and friends know about the way I was treated in this situation..... For some reason, Kinko's in Danville has the worst service I ever encountered. I have been there so many times. And they are never busy, but if you walk in looking lost, or looking for help, they will avoid all eye contact as much as possible! I end up driving to San Ramon, which is out of my way, because the service there is so much better! They should be concerned if customers decide to drive to San Ramon for better service. read more

I was in the other morning and Kinnith (I think I spelled right as it is spelled unusually) the manager had such a terrific attitude not only to me but everyone who came in - even a cranky lady that had a brace on her leg.
