The manager here (large, heavy set woman) has the customer service skills of a paper clip. I tried picking up my package, but I forgot my ID, and asked if there was a workaround the system since I couldn't procure my ID in the near future, and instead of offering me assistance or explaining there was no workaround, this woman IMMEDIATELY went on the defensive claiming that the package I PAID for, was HER PROPERTY and wasn't goin to release it to me, accusing me of trying to commit identity theft and theft. Mind you, all I did was ask if there was a workaround the system. I didn't demand one. I asked for one. Didn't expect one either! But that was enough to set her off and accuse me of trying to steal my own package, and claim it as her own. Mike no mistake, her language was extremely manipulative. This is the worst customer service I've experienced in my life. Genuinely. Not a shocker considering the other times I've been here, I've been directed to a kiosk every single time without failure, when I was trying to pick up a package. No one wants to help you here. Go to UPS or USPS. And to the large heavy set woman, if you're reading this. You need to find a new profession. You're incompetent at your job, and need customer service training. If you're going to look like the way you, you should at least be nice. You can't be looking the way you do and being that hostile. read more

This is the second time in the past few weeks I've gone to this location and always vow never to return. I must be a glutton for punishmen!! Theres a Blake Neff looking stooge working the counter who could give a rat's ass if the line is backed up to the toll booths on the GW Bridge. Last time there was someone shipping a music CD and Blake Neff must have shown this person about 37 different boxes and envelopes to ship it in. It's a goddamn CD-throw it in a bubble wrap envelope and move along. Mind you this person was already at the counter when I walked in. 25 minutes go by and I'm trying to not have a volcanic eruption but I couldn't contain myself, my blood was boiling standing there watching this display of nonsense with zero regard for who else is standing there waiting. I finally snapped and slammed my fist on the counter and asked WTF is going on here?!? Finally one of the managers says let me get someone to help you. So another employee comes up-takes my package-gets my info, prints a label, I pay and I'm on my way 90 seconds later. Blake Neff is still discussing the pros and cons of envelopes vs boxes. I leave and go to Starbucks, grab a coffee and am walking back to my car. Pass the front of FedEx and Blake Neff is still rambling on with the same customer! unbelievable how this guy still has a job. Pretty much the same story today but Blake was showing custimer different boxes/envelopes to ship a book in. You would think that they're shipping the Magna Carta or Declaration of Independence-NOPE! Just a book! Fortunately there was another employee working the counter and he took care of 2 other customers and now it's my turn. I can tell that this othe employee was pissed off because for every customer Blake Neff takes care of this poor bastard has to take care of 25 people. Don't know who hired Blake Neff and thought it would be a good idea to put him on the counter but they need to re-think it. Don't quite think Blake is cut out for customer service oriented work that involves dealing with scores of people. Either that or whoever put him there must have done so as a goof to torment the public at large. You've been warned! If you have to visit FedEx you may want to bring a portable chair and a cooler with food and drinks and prepare to be there a while-a good long while. And don't forget your earbuds so you can listen to music. That is unless you want to listen to Blake Neff's doctoral dissertation on the pros and cons of boxes vs envelopes. Good Luck!! read more

Every other shipping location gives you the choice as to whether or not you want to counter assistance or self service. This does not seem to be the case here even though I requested several times to not have to use the self service option. read more

Came to this FedEx location to print a poster for my godson's graduation for tomorrow. And of course I procrastinated and waited until the day before to get this done. Won had welcomed us in and directed us to wait for the salesperson for print. So after a brief wait, Zach was able to help me. He listened to my needs and offered great suggestions for what I was requesting. We had told him we needed it for tomorrow morning and promised it would be done by 5pm in the afternoon. We had ran some errands and had come back a few hours later at the time Zach had said it would be ready. Won had welcomed us back in the store. And Zach had our order ready and he even said it was finished before the scheduled time! Even better!!! It came out just as we wanted! I appreciate the extra effort that Zach had made to ensure our project was completed by today! A huge thank you to Zach for all his help today with my last minute order! I went there today to use their 4x6 printing machine. I called this morning asking if they had the machine they said yes arrived few hours later and they said the machine is broken and they have no clue when it would be fixed. I had a gift card that expired today so the whole point of going was to use it. I spoke with "manager" Hope to see what else I could use it for which was nothing except internet which I have at home, she wouldn't extend the card or work with me in any way whatsoever. She is the rudest person I've ever encountered she cursed at me several times, was very short with me and was no help whatsoever. The way she spoke to me as a loyal customer is disguising the whole store was looking at her and customers asked me what her problem was. I feel attacked and very disappointed with this store! Wow! Such nastiness. Came into this FedEx location about 2 weeks ago and the woman behind the counter first ignores me and then waits a few mins before acknowledging me, although she is doing absolutely nothing and then proceeds to yell at me saying: "SIR! You are standing in the wrong line!! You are in the line for printing, not shipping!!!" Says all this with a VERY nasty tone to her voice. At first I thought it was a joke...was I supposed to know the difference between the two lines? She's the ONLY one behind the counter and I'm the only one in line, so its not like it was all that clear there were two separate lines. She then proceeds to tell me I have the wrong everything...wrong shipping amount, wrong shipping label, wrong box for shipping, just everything wrong. Then proceeds to tell me even with all I did wrong, she will ship as is. Made zero sense, except it was clear to me that she was getting her kicks out of making sure people knew she was in control here. Is it so hard for some people to be nice these days, especially when you're in the business of customer service?? What if each time you went into Starbucks or any other customer service based store, you got harassed or yelled at when you place your order. Lousy customer service for sure. read more

We're in the midst of a global crisis, I got three kids I got to take care of, and I need to drop off an already paid for fed ex package. They tell me they can't take it cause it's fedex ground, they only take fedex express, I can pay $10 for them to box it for me, but during this national crisis, under a stay at home order, I gotta go driving around searching for a fed ex ground truck and driver. They don't want the liability for it. Spoke to the manager, she gave me no solution. I ended up finding a fedex ground pick up center, on my own, I go there, they say I can't leave it with them, but they are helpful! They tell me go a mile down the road, a fed ex shipping center will take it. Great! I go there, in and out, easy. Why the manager flat out refused to be helpful, told me to drive around aimlessly in search of a truck, as opposed to telling me where the nearest location was, I don't know. You would think if they can't solve a problem, they'd have a better answer than fedex ground is a separate company from fedex, you're SOL. read more

Went into this store on a quiet afternoon to send a Fed x package and buy a greeting card. There were two people working at that time with one helping someone at the counter. To send a Fed x pkg you now have to use a kiosk, which is not user friendly. After spending 20 min and 3 attempts to put in my information time and time again, I gave up. Went to the counter to buy a greeting card with cash and had to wait until the salesperson could open up her register. If you want to spend a lot of time not being helped and waiting around, then this is the place to go to. read more

Good afternoon. I would like to tell you about the experience I had in your Ft Lee NJ store today. I had to email documents in PDF format in regards to obtaining a mortgage. I had no idea what to do, so Zach gladly assisted me. The store was very busy and Zach was being pulled in all different directions, but he was VERY patient and kind to everyone and always had a smile on his face. Gone there to ship international and I WAS super impressed the first two times with two managers there. However the 3rd and 4th time, there was one employee whose attitude was consistently dismissive and this last time, downright insulting. Unfortunately when the issue came heated, their management didn't handle it properly. They did not take responsibility for their employee, and simply responded to my rudeness back to their employee by threatening to kick me out of the store. What happened to listening to the customer? I would suggest that they take some management courses which provide techniques to settle down upset customers with simple words like "we will talk to our employee and address the issue..." It would demonstrate they are listening to the customer... What a shame that one young female employee that is clearly unhappy with her current station in life as a FedEx employee can ruin the entire efforts of her managers who are obviously working extra hard to create a great customer facing service. Dominic the manager is great- Hope is usually great, maybe she was stressed, but she still handled the situation poorly. Had to return a rug and had no idea how to ship it. Kat ( i believe shes an assistant manager there, I remembered her name tag) went over and beyond to help me out. She made us a customized box so the rug would fit. It required lot of measuring cutting and tapping but she took her time and made a perfect box. Their self-service printer don't even work so that they can rip you off by using their computer. The printing price on self-service printer is 13 cents per sheet, on their computer, 59 cents per sheet. Other Fedex locations have free printing only service on computers just in case self-service printers don't work. Not the case in this store, the printing only service don't work on their computer, and you ended up paying for the printing as well as the computer. The staff here are unfriendly and fishy too. When asked, they just say you cannot use dropbox on self-service printer, then I tried google drive, still not working. I think these guys just did it on purpose so that they can charge you 4 times more on their printing services. read more

I had high hopes for this place because they have a very impressive printer. I tried to have a large format (12"x30") print done of a photograph taken by my father nearly 20 years ago that I have invested days into fully restoring. Basically, I need this done before my father gets disconnected from life support in two days. Anyway, back to the point. The first person I dealt with, Rich Simone, was very helpful. Unfortunately, the equipment at this office is entirely outdated Dell workstations. Every time the print job was queued, the systems crashed. I was told that I could try resizing the file and submitting it over the web to the office. Cut to today. I have just gotten off of the phone with a woman who is possibly the antithesis of customer service. After explaining my situation to Cathy Farber, I was informed that I would need written consent from my father to print this photo. WTF? I understand the need to not be printing copyrighted material, but my father can't even write. I have the camera and the film, but that isn't good enough. Even though this is right behind my house I dread going here unless Its quick copies I can do at the self service machines. The staff all hate their life here and obviously do not like dealing with any human beings. They are not only slow but also dumb as a doornail. I went in the other day to ask if they had a usb cable so I can hook my phone up to the copy machine to print and they just told me to use the usb slot without the cable to print, when I asked them how i was going to hook the phone up to the machine without the cable they looked at me with question marks on their faces. Even if there are no lines or any customers it takes them forever to get to the register and acknowledge someone's presence. Worst place after dmv to go for any ordered prints. Save yourself the trouble and go to Staples down the street. read more

No complaints here. Came today, a Thursday afternoon around 1:00pm. I had to mail my brother's snowboard and boots, gloves, snowboarding pants, goggles... from Jersey to LA and the FedEx guy helped my right away. He custom made a box for me and carefully packed everything. He even put in brown paper wrap at no charge and did not try to sell me $12 bubble wrap I didn't need. He did his job very well and with great customer service! Overall a great experience. I did call ahead and they assured me they could help me. So I will definitely be coming back to this FedEx location if I ever need to ship odd things again. read more

This store is closest to my house but honestly I hate to go there.. They are so slow to process the work, only one or two staffs in the afternoon. Additionally one of them are dedicated to the phone call most of the time. Female manager scolded me when I complained about long waiting time. Pros - Convenient location in prime shipping plaza. Staff is generally nice. I am not one that needs staff to have a huge smile and ask me how I am doing so I would understand if another customer felt the staff could have a 'warmer' disposition. The ability to have my FedEx deliveries rerouted to this store for pick-up is a big help on shipments that would otherwise require me to be home to sign for the package. Cons - Chronically understaffed for customer traffic at popular times (~12pm to close). The line doesn't move very fast. I can't necessarily fault the actual staff in the store since it really is a staffing level issue. The very customers that may complain that the staff holds up the line are the very customers asking all the questions when they get their turn at the front of the line! read more

It's a bit of a busy store but you won't ever wait long; it's appropriately staffed & you're always greeted with a smile. Two days after the snow and they are still closed. Every other business in the strip mall including the pizzeria, Starbuck and the UPS store were opened the day after the snow. Yet two days later FedEx can't be bothered to get out of bed and open their business. No excuse other than laziness and poor management. read more

Going to the post office, UPS or Fedex has always been a dreadful experience. It is always an unpleasant task to ship things but I found this Fedex office a while back and I highly recommend it.
