So, we made an appointment at their "Passport Office" for 9:00 am. We got there at 8:45. Went to the Passport Office and it's completely empty. And looks like it has never been used. When I say empty, I mean there's nothing in there but a counter and a desk or two. No sign of life, ever. So we got in line (which was about 6-8 people long) and there was one person working there. After waiting in line (so much for appointments) we were taken care of and got the passport info filled out and sent in. The worker, Rhonda, was very, very helpful. I'm giving it three stars becuase it was frustrating to think we had an appointment, when it's clear that the passport office is never, ever used. And this is a brand new PO, and it looks 1/2 abandoned already. read more

There are some discrimination here at customer service counter. As an Asian female who not speak Korean, I was never greeted and always treated impatiently by one lady at the counter, who did not answer my question after repeating multiple times. This is obviously different from customers before me or behind me. Even I spoke with full respect and smiled at her, this happened multiple times, so I want to speak out. The only wish I have is hope my package will be delivered on time per legal requirement, so it will not affected by the staff's personal attitude. The Fort Lee US Post Office relocated to this location a few months ago and I think this location is a nice improvement from the last location which was dark and looked outdated. Many of the employees are still the same. I don't visit too often but I find the service to be friendly. The employees are helpful when I have questions about delivery times and costs for sending packages. The line hasn't been too bad the times that I come. Usually there are 2-3 employees working at the desk at one time. In general, this is my go-to place to send mail. read more

This place needs a MAJOR makeover as in - the entire interior, modernized the space with wifi and newer, faster technology. so far, I have seen and been to the Edgewater, new jersey post office, WOW! that's a very efficient, clean, better energy, organized staff. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Post office is very, very outdated that the ceiling is falling apart and coming down. Besides that, I went at lunch and there was a line of 9 people waiting while the lady that worked there was chatting with the customer for at least 10 minutes. Only one person working, which is fine but line was not moving. When it was my turn, I asked for tape since I did not have it at home to seal the package and she looked at me asking "Why did you not make this a package before coming in?".. seriously? I said if she gave me tape then I can do it, she ended up just grunting and doing it. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I will not go back. read more

This is the worst post office. I paid to send checks via 2 day priority mail and it took 3 weeks for them to arrive from NJ to Pennsylvania. I called to complain and was told delays are expected due to COVID. Really? Then they don't even take passport applications but tell you t go to the post office in Edgewater. read more

Literally the most prompt service I've seen at a USPS ever. Like, EVER. Which doesn't say much considering how bad other post offices are. Still, I commend them for having average service amongst their peers with dismal service. This post only has 2 stars on yelp but if I see a post office on yelp with more than 1 star ever- it's usually the best one in a 30 mile radius. Way to go Fort Lee USPS! You've made it. read more

Song at this post office is the rudest person, very unpleasant. She snaps, yells, sneers condescendingly to customers. She should be replaced by someone reasonable. In contrast the staff At the Anderson Ave location are amazing. Song would ask a question and not listen to the answer. Only pleasant if you are Korean (or not even! According to Google reviews she yelled at a Korean customer in Korean). The camera for passport photos was broken for over a year and you'll only find out when you get here despite making an appointment for passport application with photo service on the website. Your passport appointment will also be cancelled without notifying you because the "passport person" is not here today. They expect you to come back on an arbitrary day thinking people have no jobs to do every day. Avoid this location at all cost. read more

The post office at 229 Main Street in Fort Lee, NJ is absolutely horrible! Packages are constantly "misplaced or lost" They have a new male clerk there that always has the line backed up. I have no clue why he was assigned there. The entire experience every single time I go is grueling!! read more

Good luck getting any info from the phone because it's impossible. My package wasn't delivered because of address issue? And is being sent back to the shipper on the west coast. Nothing has changed just USPS has horrible customer service. Then they wonder why no one wants to use USPS and why they're financially failing. If you need anything important carried do NOT use USPS! Such a disgusting rude staff. Will rather drive to Edgewater with today's experience. Don't know their names. But I went around 4pm. A chubby Asian woman was serving the people, I asked for a money order an a certified mail form, it is my first time sending a certified mail so when I went to my mom and ask her how to fill it out my mom told me I was missing another green form that comes with the certified mail. I went back again asked for the other piece, she rolled her eyes and gave me the paper. I was having trouble locating the address because my WiFi wasn't good so I asked her if I can come tomorrow to send the certified mail and she said no. So I had to go back outside and try to find WiFi to get the address I needed. When I went back and made the line for a 3rd time. She told me to put the address also on the envelope I told her, I was told that the green certified mail sticker is going to stick on the front of the envelope, but I could write the address if you want me to (again, I have never sent a certified mail) she said, "It's okay WHATEVERRRRR" really loudly. That was embarrassing and rude. You are there to help, I am not your friend I am a customer. If I need help with someone you should help me not tell me "whatever". I was already annoyed, and an African American woman was taking care of another woman in another window. I noticed the woman was barely even talking to the customer, when the customer left, the African American woman said, "she's weird, that's why I was staying away from her she creeps me out." And both laughed. So unprofessional, so rude. I know they are probably tired because they are working twice as hard with this pandemic, but their attitudes stick! I will not be going back. I hope my mail gets send correctly because they both seemed distracted and I had to remind her to give me another piece of the certified mail form. The two asian ladies are rude and are always angry at the customers. I know for sure one of them is korean because im korean myself. I prefer the black lady who isn't there all the time. She's not the best but better than a rude and angry asian lady. read more
