But it took a while however they were nice to see if they can help me quicker. I only had a drop off just need to scan and get a receipt to go. But their service was kind of flat with me, but I didn't get to get it scanned and go.. So don't look for exceptional service all the time, but they get the job done! read more

I needed to print a few things recently and found myself at this FedEx location. There were two large printer/scanner/copiers available to use. I didn't see any workers, but the instructions were listed clearly on the printer. You basically just send an email to FedEx with an attachment of what you are printing. It takes a couple of minutes to get a code to print. Black and white copies were $0.24, color was more. The printers do default to color each time you print, so make sure to update if you just need B&W! read more

FedEx delivered several packages to the wrong address, took a picture and when I told them it was wrong address, there response was we have a photo of delivered package. The company I paid refuse to reimburse because they put correct address. So I started trying to pick up directly from FedEx, guess what occasionally a package to another nearby FedEx Ofc and gets lost in the process of redirecting it to the FedEx Office closest to me. 7 Dollars for a box? No F-in' way buddy. I came here to send a broken laptop back for repair. Before I rolled up, I spent a good 40 minutes boxing up the laptop in the box it came it. I wrapped it with tape, smoothed out the bubbles, and make sure I had the RMA number on all of the sides. I bring it to this place and it gets denied. The conversation between the sales rep and I went like this. Sales Rep: You'll need to put this laptop in a box. Me: Huh? It's already in a box Sales Rep: No, it needs to be in a cardboard box. Me: This is a cardboard box! Sales Rep: No, that's a box that the laptop came in. Me: Yea, MADE OF CARDBOARD!! You guys should have seen the love I put into packaging this. This thing was bulletproof. If Captain America couldn't find his shield, he could grab my package and use it to battle The Red Skull. The Sales Rep tried to sell me a 7 dollars box, but I declined because 1) I'm trying to be more eco-friendly 2) I'm cheap as mofo. To be a spiteful jackass, I walked next door to Trader Joe's and got a free box from one of the employees. I found one that was 2-3 times bigger than my package. I came back and the sales rep didn't look too pleased. Overall, I think this place is a scam. They charge way too much. Maybe if the sales rep complimented on my package and told me its company policy, I wouldn't be so annoyed at the whole situation. Honestly don't come here. Only came here cause it was a convenient location but I would even go out of my way to go farther out to get better customer service. First of all, I'm not sure if he's a manager, but a Hispanic looking guy was "helping" me out. He's been passive aggressive before, but this time he was straight up rude. I arrived about 15 min before closing to send out a package. The whole time this guy seemed so annoyed to even help me out. I was caught off guard but decided to just ignore it. However, at the end he quoted me $55 to send out the package that would arrive over a week later. I was confused because I checked online and put in the information and the FedEx website quoted me around $20 for less than one week shipping. So I said "hold up" and started putting the information in and sure enough, I put in the exact information he had and it quoted me $25. I showed this to him and he said "oh yeah it's way cheaper online, uhh, like half off." I had a feeling he was trying to skimp me out and thought I wouldn't say anything. Anyway as soon as the clock hit 7 he said "WELL ITS 7PM WERE TECHNICALLY CLOSED SO I CANT HELP YOU" wtf? First of all you were already helping me, all I had to do was swipe my card. Second, it took like literally 30 seconds for me to look up this info and all of a sudden he can't service me. I was in no mood to argue so I left. Sometimes I need special printing services and come to this local FedEx to get the job done. Employees are extremely knowledgeable about printing, technology, and paper. Recently I needed card stock for an art project and the employees here gave me a lot of great advice regarding paper selection, color printing, and printing in the right size. The store is pretty cool too, since it sells all kinds of office supplies and a small but diverse set of books for self and professional improvement. Conveniently located across the way from UCI & surrounded by businesses, it's no surprise that this FedEx gets a lot of foot traffic. I have been to this location a few times to print papers when my printer malfunctioned (thank you, technology mishaps) and to get binding done for assignments and for my own binding needs! Personally, I have not had any trouble here. During all my visits, I was assisted in a timely fashion. Even when I came on a day when everyone and their mama wanted to bind their final projects at the end of the quarter, the staff treated me well and got the job done in a timely manner. If you're here for supplies (like binders or whatever) it's definitely going to be waaaaay pricier than their competitors but if you have the ability to go to Walmart or target or places where you know you'd find it cheaper or if you're not in a rush, don't get it from here. Now that that's out of the way! I must say. I really love getting pages bound here. It's not as expensive as you'd think as long as it's nothing too fancy. Both times I've never paid more than $6! But it honestly depends and varies but I assume you can ask for quotes! Overall, it's close, convenient, and I've never had any trouble getting assistance for any of my printing or binding needs! read more

Eh, I've experienced better is a good way to say it. I sold a Google Daydream VR on Swappa last week and thought FedEx was my best bet to ship it to the Midwest. Thought. I sold my headset for around $45...and this place cost me almost $20 to ship it with the box and 'paper scraps' to pad the shipment. Ugh. If the damn Daydream box wasn't such an odd shape, I could've gotten away with the Post Office for like $7. Damnit. On a positive note, the college aged guy behind the desk was really nice about it. This review is after my second experience with Elizabeth. I come in and of course, it's me who has to say Hi. She looks bothered that I am talking to her but nods her head. I ask her how's it going? She doesn't respond at all. Then she explains how she can't print my material because there's a huge queue and I should have sent it earlier before coming in. I told her I've been coming in almost every day and the staff member usually quickly prints it. She recovered and said, okay I'll do it this ONE time. I say great thank you! I wait about 2 minutes, still the only one in the store, then she says it will take 10 min to print these 5 black and white documents. That seemed odd to me because I've come in before and they always print it I'm literally 30 seconds! It just seemed like she was going out of her way to NOT be helpful. Luckily, another girl came in and heard our conversation. She even came over to help me after I was relegated to printing with the machine by myself (no, Elizabeth did not offer any help lol). This girl told me that she tries to not come in the mornings because that's when Elizabeth is working. Seriously, some of the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. With UPS right in UCI's campus, there is usually no need for me to go to FedEx, but I had to return for something I bought online and the vendor paid for the return shipping only through FedEx. And so I traveled across the bridge into UTC. There's not too much to say about this print and ship shop beside the fact that service was extremely slow. They were nice but a little swiftness would have been appreciated as I spent around 20 minutes there just to send one small package. I also had to buy an envelope from Fedex for $3 o.o because they did not allow me to ship it in the cleanly wrapped box I had my item in. read more

I dont know why this has such a low rating here on Yelp. My job has me needing to use Fedex services constantly. I am famiar with many Fedex locations locally and this one is by far the best one. I had a terrible experience at another location last night and couldn't get my packages shipped. Came to this location today (my normal go to anyway) and I was greeted with friendly employees ready to help. I was able to stock up on some things for home delivery. I even got asked twice if I needed assistance while using the work station. I told the girl helping thanks for being kind. I went in to make some photo copies. I saw that there was only photo machine and it seemed as if they lady in front had lots to copy. I walked over to the counter to ask if there was another machine. I started out with "excuse..." And was cut off by the girl in the glasses behind the counter. She cut me off and said "will be with you in a bit" she didn't even look up at me. Whatever was on that computer screen was more important than the customer. Hope she was looking at her guidelines for her final exam and not clips on how to fix your hair. It's bad enough when employees at a business lie to customers, but it's 100 times worse when they expect customers to do the lying. I needed to print an email today, so I popped into FedEx and went to the machine they have to buy a card for access to their PC's. The machine was finicky and wouldn't take my one and five dollar bills, so I put in a 20, got a 20 dollar card and did my thing. After I was done, I asked for a refund on my remaining balance of $18.14. They ask me to full out a form. Print your name, sign your name and give a phone number. I do that, but instead of a phone number I write "refused". I don't give my number to anyone unless I can see why they would need to call me. The clerk handed me my money but told me that I had to give a phone number. I told him ":I already have the money, do you want it back?" And incredibly this idiot said yes he did. So I asked for the manager, and out saunters Chris Walker. I tell him I don't like giving my phone number because I don't want to get calls He assures me that they won't call me. So at the risk of sounding like Captain Obvious I point out that if they aren't going to call me they don't need my phone number. This threw Chris for a loop, perhaps he had never been exposed to commons sense before, but he asked me to "make up a number". I said "so you want me to lie?" and he said yes. If I didn't want to sacrifice my privacy, he was giving me the option of sacrificing someone else's. Or I could go the random route and give some strangers number; or I could pretend I was on a TV show and give a 555 number. I even thought of giving Alexander Graham Bells number which I presume was "1". At least that would have been my number if I invented the phone. At this point I was actually amused. Although he acknowledged that I was legally entitled to my money, this little Napoleonic security-guard school dropout was really enjoying his power trip. I handed the man the money and he had to put the value back on the card and give me the card. I then had him give me the phone numbers of his boss and his bosses boss. I got back to my car and grabbed the phone and called Fernando, the bosses boss (and yes I blocked my Caller ID), explained the highlights of the conversation with Chris especially the part where I was supposed to lie, and how I had to refund my refund to Chris. He told me I could walk back in the store and get a refund. I told him I no longer wished to go into the store and he arranged to have Chris meet me at my car in the parking lot with a refund. Chris came out, but without the money. Apparently he needed to collect my card...go back in the store....and come out with the money. And I imagine after that he went back inside to explain to Fernando why he tells customer they should lie. Sure I wasted 20 minutes of my time, but someone had to put this fool in his place. read more

I needed to print my wedding invitations and Clay and Sirina helped me out a lot! I had to make a few adjustments to my file so it could fit on the invitation cards I had, but they were so patient and friendly with me. Also, I was a little worried they wouldn't be able to print because it was a really thick (almost cardboard) card stock, but they did it and within an hour all 120 were printed! It definitely made the whole process a breeze. Would definitely come back for any other printing needs and recommend them to anyone! read more

The 2 stars is purely for the customer service here - employees are actually pretty helpful if you approach them with questions. The -3 stars is for how freaking EXPENSIVE it is to fax something here. It cost over $1 a page... seriously?? I had to fax a 35 page document and ended up spending over $40. For that price, I could've paid for the gas it would've taken to personally drive my document to its destination about 10 times over. Asked one of the employees if there was any other options and he said that I could use one of their flash drives. Asked me to email my photos to their company email. So I email them and he says that its the end of his shift so another employee comes in. This new employee refuses to help me as what the other employee said was wrong. Told me I couldn't print my pictures. However, I sent them to the company email. I'm like wtf, now you have my pictures and i get no work done. I mean they weren't like racy, embarassing photos, but I don't know what they're gonna do with my photos. So shes all like yup, just deleted them, but obviously I can't confirm that she did. Really REALY poor customer service. I came here in the morning to enlarge photos for my friends' graduation. I honestly thought that this would be something that would take 15 minutes max. How about close to 45. I was waiting in line with one person working with the person at the register and one more person waiting in front of me. It shouldn't take that long if two people were working register, but I waited 10 minutes to speak to someone. Finally, when we were able to work with an associate, she did not know how to open a .jpeg image. I'm sorry, but I do not understand how someone can be hired at kinko's and not know how to do something as simple as open a .jpeg. She told us to convert the picture to a .pdf file and then come back. They're lucky that my boyfriend had his laptop on him to do so or else I would have gone somewhere else to enlarge the photos. The only reason why I'm giving more than one star is because once our pictures were uploaded, printing took less than 5 minutes! All in all, I do not recommend this place. Sooooo friendly. They take the time to help you 100%. The staff is limited to maybe 5 or 6 so I can see how it could get a bit slow there if's busy and you're in a hurry. But I'd take waiting a bit to unfriendly service ANY DAY. I needed help using my USB to print out some forms. They have a new device where you can just insert the USB stick by the printer (no more logging onto a computer, opening your files and sending them to a printer). The lady there explained exactly how to print my files and then came back to check if I needed help. And another employee came to help when the paper jammed. But it's how they treated you as a customer. Things happen... paper jams, it gets busy, prints don't come out the way you'd like them to ... whatever. But it's how they handle you as a customer when things do go wrong. So glad I found this place. read more

Horribly poor customer service! Only come here if you have to and have no other convenient way of getting your job done. I've come here many times and usually have a fine experience with no major complaints. This location has never been personable but they were never rude. However, I came in today to print two documents out and I had the worst experience. First off, I sent myself an email so that I could forward it and have it printed out at their self service station. So when I got there, I went to the self service station and tried to print out the documents. However, the system said that it couldn't read my newer Mac version of word and excel so I couldn't print the documents out. I then preceded to save the documents in a new format and tried emailing them again while at the store but the store wifi wasn't working. I asked the employee for help but she said "oh that sucks, are you sure you're on the right network?" She then came over and looked at my computer which I know I was doing right because I'm certain I'm more tech-savvy then her and she seemed to dismay my claim because she saw the loading bar moving slowly but in reality it wasn't loading. She then rudely says, "it's working, you can't expect us to guarantee quick speeds"... Meanwhile, this whole time I've been pretty calm and just trying to rush and get my documents completed. However, by this point I asked if I could send them to their email because I knew a regular computer could open the documents and print out my pages but she said no. Even though I've done this many times before... Despite the fact that I was in a rush and that their system, wifi, and printer wasn't cooperating, she advised me that I had to go use the rental computers. She told me they installed this new rental policy and strict enforcement so as to not waste time and emails to their location... The store was completely empty!!!!! Furiously, I did go to the rental computers without arguing because I didn't have time. So I went to go use the overpriced rental computers and the computer was lagging. Not only that, it charged me double the cost of what it should cost to print pages out because they used a thicker paper and gave you no other options. Not only that, after I printed out my pages I clicked log off and it the system prompted me if i was sure. I said yes. Then it gave me my total cost and asked if I wanted my receipt. I clicked yes and walked away, packing up and getting ready to go. As I look back, the computer is still on and says I need to close everything before completing my session...!!! Why wouldn't the receipt signal that my session is already over? I was already given my charges!!!! This was the most expensive two regular printed documents I've ever paid for. $10 for 4 pages... and amidst all this, the store was empty!! I can't believe this. read more

Another terrible customer service story about the morning girl. I wonder if there's more than one... I go in to print out a thing and make some copies for a final exam. I nod at the girl behind a computer, and this is met with a horrified stare. I go over to the computer and the black and white printer is broken. So I have to use the color one, for like 400% more. I get up to ask the girl behind the computer who hasn't moved. Two words leave my mouth and she interjects, "I can't hear in this ear, sir, if you have a question you'll need to get in my line." There is no one there, except for one customer, who has just been told the same thing. She returns to her computer. A few minutes later she comes by to see what my question was. Man was she impatient, and seething with anger as she explained how to render a double-sided copy from two single-sided pages. This place is like a Mike Judge nightmare. I went here to get a project for school professionally bound. The male employee said it would take 10 minutes so I decided to just wait around and look at stuff in the store. I ended up finding a book called "Buy Ketchup in May and Fly at Noon: A Guide to the Best Time to Buy This, Do That and Go There" and decided to flip through it while waiting. *30 MINUTES LATER* The employee still hadn't done the binding! I approached him and asked if my binding would be done soon. He apologized and said he got sidetracked. Then he went to go do the binding and it only took him 2 minutes. 2 minutes!! And I waited half an hour! The employee said I didn't have to pay, so that was nice. It's good I wasn't in a rush that day.
