I came here after my original plans to go to Office Max were derailed. After talking to Office Max over the phone for a job I needed done and pricing - I got there to have them work on it only to be told no we don't do Name tag printed sheets because the perforated sheets get jammed. They were basic Avery sheets and I thought this was absurd. Scrambling I drove conceded and the team was amazing. They helped me get the name tags printed and a few other items and with as smile on their face. I worked with a few people and everyone was polite and helpful. I went to make one copy and 2 of the 3 machines were out of service. One machine had all the paper drawers open but unknown if it was jammed. When I asked the girl behind the counter, she said she didn't know what I was talking about. I pointed to the VERY OBVIOUS printer with all the open drawers, she responded "oh I don't know" and walked off! WOW, not good customer service. Watch out for the brunette with the lazy eye! I dropped off a package, paid extra for overnight delivery. The package was not delivered as confirmed. The unfortunate part is the package never left Livermore, it was received in Pleasanton on December 17, almost 2 hours after it was supposed to be delivered in WA. I went to the location before 1pm and was informed the package was already "in the truck." However, an employee told me the first pick up of the day is at 2:30PM. Curious that it's in the truck before 1pm with a 2:30PM first pick up time for the day. And really during a busy season? 2:30pm?? Just a bunch of untruths. Own up to it, be accountable! To top it off, call customer service for a refund! Lowsy customer service! Not a good place of business! This unfortunate delay impacted so many. But Fedex does not care! read more

I went to this office today to get a bunch of things printed. Some were pdf's, some were photos I had on my phone and some were of originals I had. I had no idea how to even begin with the pdf's etc. Your employee named Chad was great help. Every time I thanked him he said " that's what I'm here for". This service was such a breath of fresh air. This is a great location, and it's never crowded during the day or in the afternoon. I've personally never had a bad experience here, as the staff have always been super helpful with all of the shipping I've done here. It's a large store and they have everything you need. Most importantly, the staff are all knowledgeable and have answers to all your questions. What more does one need? Every package I have shipped here has gone out timely and been delivered very quickly. I'm happy with this location and will continue going here :) The parking is great too. Came here to get baby passport photos done. We woke up our sleeping baby who proceeded to become super agitated. The staff was really sweet and told us to take our time. Took us a good 30-40min to calm her down. She fell asleep again, but we read the travel website and it said it was okay if baby is sleeping in the picture. So the staff member took some great pics for us. We have come here in the past to print things for events and have never had a bad experience. UPDATE 4-23-19 Just don't go here. Bad customer service is never about the ONE thing that prompts a review like this -- it's about the 100 little things that are done poorly before the scale tips. Went to pick up the copies that I couldn't get on Saturday. As usual, waited 5 full mins for someone to acknowledge that I was in the store. (There were 3 people behind the counter.) Got my copies but b/c they were going to give me a refund, I'm "not allowed" to take my copies. I ask for a manager. She's on a conference call - aka too busy to speak with a dissatisfied customer. I drive home (5 mins) and call and miraculously - she's free to talk. She also spends a long time telling me how her employee is entitled to lunch and how she put the sign in the window herself and how blah, blah, blah. Totally defensive. They don't care about the customer - buyer beware. 4-20-19 After several months of sending regular print jobs due to my job... today I went at 1:15 and there was a sign in the door that said "back in 45 mins". This sign did NOT say what time it was when the employee left for lunch. Doesn't matter - the store was not open when a customer came. I didn't have time to wait, but hey, no problem -- they are open until 8pm. At 6:45pm I returned to pick up my handouts that I need for work on Monday - THE STORE WAS CLOSED. Unbelievable. No sign. No notice. Just closed. I PRE-PAID for materials that I won't have for work on Monday. Sunday is Easter so it's unlikely I will find a print shop open tomorrow. I will have to make miracles happen - at additional cost - to get my handouts printed before work on Monday. I won't go back again. read more

These things have happened to me, and it is thanks to place like this that I didn't lose my cool and I was able to pull it off. I am a procrastinator... It happens. We were on our way to the county fair to see WAR, and a friend of mine hadn't printed her tickets. We stopped here on the way rather than going all the way home and being late to the concert. We accessed the computer for a certain amount per minute for internet and a certain amount per page printed. For only maybe $2, we were able to continue our plans on time. Way to save the day! It's no wonder this particular FedEx Office gets blasted with horrible reviews - the people that work there clearly despise their jobs which is why they think "customer service" is the act of taking money and dumping it into the cash register. My guess is the manager of this dump is a mess so the employees think that if the head honcho is a fuckstick then they can act like one, too, because common sense, even if you're a complete stoner, tells you that you should at least acknowledge and respect the very people that enable you to receive compensation for your time...even if your time isn't worth shit. In short, I had the great fortune to meet "Donna" - an elderly woman with a crazed look in her eye and hair that was rocking one of those wrist braces that do nothing but have to be worn when lazy fucks like her are asked to perform the duties as defined in their job description but they don't want to so they complain about carpal tunnel syndronitis or some other trumped up version of a sore wrist so they can still get paid but not have to do anything remotely strenuous. Such is the case with Donna who clearly was able to do physical work with her wrist as she was pounding the cash register like she was the keyboardist in an 80's video but because she has a wrist brace she "cannot help" because "I'm hurt." Here's what happened: took a FedEx box in to ship that had a pre-addressed and paid label - FedEx 2nd day air. Apparently because there was some space between the top of the taped box and the contents that they could not ship it because, "...it could collapse under the weight of other boxes." First, good to know you stack shit on top of boxes clearly marked as "Fragile." Second, even though you don't give a FF that the contents are fragile, your cure to enable a corner of a box to stick to the tape? $6 worth of filler. I looked at Donna and asked her to test the strength of the top of the box (it could have held me and I'm 200lbs.) She said she couldn't because she was hurt so I told her if I could use my own filler instead of paying them $6 for theirs and she acknowledged that I could do that but I could not leave the box there...even though I live just minutes away. Why? "Because i could get fired." And why is that, Donna? "Because it's too dangerous." What's too dangerous, Donna? "It's our policy." What's your policy, Donna? "We can't let you leave the box here - I could get fired." You mean you're not allowed to take boxes with a pre-paid FedEx label - how do you guys stay in business? "I can't help you." This is where people need to hit pause and think - anyone, in any circumstance, can help anyone - so when a paid representative of a global shipping company that continues to get its ass kicked by UPS says, "I can't help you" it is not helping the company that's paying you to wager a counterattack against those boys in brown. Because the box was big, I asked if she could help me carry it back out whereupon Donna claimed, "I can't - I'm hurt." So I hauled the box out, drove to the FedEx Office in Pleasanton and dropped the box off as-is/was to a fantastic young lady who was a total pro. Donna - if you hate your job then fucking quit it and go do something that enables to you live life without a wrist brace. Manager - get your shit together and read one of those X's & O's management books you sell in your store so you can learn how to lead people and create a culture of service and pride or GTFO of people management and go back to the fryer so you can get high all day and work on your Clash of Clans village. F you guys and your shit show of a business - you're boderline ridiculous given how rad everyone was at the Pleasanton location which I'll be making the drive to any time I need to deal with FedEx until UPS buys them for a song. I have been going to this location for about 3 years now and printing all my document needs for work! I have to say I LOVED this location... everyone was so friendly, accommodating on my tight deadlines and always friendly! I never waited more than maybe 3-5 minutes when in line. I appreciated the staff for going above and beyond (Shawn, Roxy, Hunter and team). Well I don't know what the hell happened but I would say in January 2019 there was an entirely new staff... new Manager... and no one knows anything! I literally went in this morning ( 3 employees there) and there are 6 of us waiting in line for help to ship items out... I waited 25 minutes! The lady employees are extremely unknowledgeable about what's going on and protocol and have personal conversations with each other in front of the customers about things that should not be discussed in a business! My take away is that there is poor management in place here because if there was GOOD management this type of BS wouldn't happen. I will be contacting Corporate FEDEX about this store as well since I spend a lot of money at this location I think they should be aware of the type of operations taking place there. read more

Ive been here for 30 minutes trying to ship something out to the UK for a friend. They have an outdated booklet to look up restrictions on international shipping, don't know how to use a computer, and could not look up the address in the system even though google maps had no issue. And now they are calling some international help number because they don't know what to do with themselves and it's been 10 more minutes. Over the past 2 months I tried to give them a other try do twice I had large boxes packed nicely and when I took it there they said the box won't make it and that I should pay $13 and get a new box from them. They did the same thing twice so I took it to a other FedEx location and they just gave me a receipt and nothing about buying a new box. Another time it's that my package is too large and they need me to go to another location. Other time it was that they couldn't resize something basic. The employes for the most part are helpful, but they do get fairly busy at certain times and It can take a while to get things done. Copies can be made, things can be shipped, things can be printed. They have a few computers and you can put money on their little cards to use everything. That part can be a little annoying and I thought it was quite expensive. What else to say?! read more
