Wait what? this is from printing the label at home to ship from your store for $18.95?
    Elise S.

I've been to this location frequent enough before COVID to know who the owner is. It's never been a warm/fuzzy feeling. But, the other employees have always been friendly, said hello, and when asked if I could leave the package, no-receipt necessary, I'd get "sure, just set it over there" etc " with a smile. I actually feel bad for them working there and apparently is why there is always a "help wanted" sign in the window. This review is not about the employees. I've ventured out a handful of times since March due to a severely compromised immune system and sole caregiver of two children and a senior. Staying healthy is extremely important without anyone else to look after my family should I become severely ill. We are following the rules and so were the 10+ people in this tiny store (that had only 4 or so "dots" on the floor social distancing). They were all wearing masks over their nose and mouth and trying to distance in the small space. Thank you fellow Livermore friends for doing so! I have been to this location twice in the last 2 months to run in and drop off an Amazon return. Once with a pre-printed label that Amazon received promptly. The second time the seller would not accept packaged and pre-printed returns, rather return to a UPS store with just a bar code. Last week I got a message my return was not received and I would be charged. Thankfully Amazon has removed the charge and hope all others with this issue contact Amazon so they know the UPS stores losing them! Thankful Amazon will still process your return despite no evidence of it being shipped to them. I still didn't write a bad review, but today... I felt compelled to leave a review beyond the rudeness of the owner I've written off to cultural differences and making nice just isn't her thing, though it should be running a store. She wore her mask on her chin the entire time (20 min), didn't follow social distancing with her own "dots" to space customers on the floor (asking to come stand next to another customer), barked at a woman trying to squeeze a squishy (probably clothing) package into the USPS mailbox (which I am thinking she doesn't like to have at all as it's not the first time to hear her snarky with someone needing something from USPS and charging a big surcharge on those items, and was less than a foot from another customer's face ahead of me shipping a package. She completely ignored her plastic "shield/screen" even as she leaned over his package speaking loudly ignoring how close she was or even trying to protect a customer. I'm so sorry lady that this is inconvenient to you but for God's sake be thankful you still have a business with a line, that incidentally should have run outside the door.. please be thankful for what you still have as many have lost so much more! None of us believe we are ill or have deadly germs and I pray none of us do! However, numbers show otherwise so let's take care of each other. For God's sake if you own a business this is blatant lack of regard for your customers beyond being unfriendly. She waved me over to come closer as my package was already on the counter moved down from the young man that wasn't able to help ship anything without an Amazon code. I politely declined and said I would wait from where I was. Not that it matters, I'd been in the store almost 20 minutes waiting for only her as nobody else knows how to ship anything from the UPS store without a barcode or pre-printed label. That's just bad management not to train others but maybe they all just leave to quickly to bother. All safety matters aside, I'd mentioned I had calculated a flat rate of around $18 from my home scale and the website to ship. It didn't matter how slow it got there. She gave me a rate twice that and said "our rates are not the same as home". Duh, they should be better.. yes, it's twice the price if I ship from home, but should be $15 from the UPS store plus extra for insurance for around $18. She told me that is the home price and it was $36. Nope, wasn't paying that and wanted to get the heck out of there. I will never return after today even though it's so close and convenient. I will drive to the other side of town or another city altogether. Her lack or regard and compassion for others in the community has compelled me to find establishments that follow guidelines and care for their customers. Incidentally - I have printed the label from home for half the price for a flat rate package she apparently didn't want to give my and includes insurance. I will NOT be dropping it off here tomorrow or ever!!

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. Went in there to buy a box to ship and was charged $18 for one. I wasn't told the price until my package was packed up so I couldn't change my mind. I then thought, "well maybe they just charge a little more because it's a ups store". So I asked for a price list for their boxes to which they told me they can't give me that...your a store that sells boxes and you can't give me a price list for the boxes you sell? This is a classic example of price gouging. I could have just bought a $4 box from anywhere and dropped it off but instead I got rolled. I will never go here to purchase ANYTHING only to use their drop-off service. If you are going to up pricing on shipping materials to increase store revenue than that's okay but you better at least have a pricing list. Here is a picture of the receipt I got...no sizing indicators just a general "packaging supplies" label so that you can insert whatever price you want. This is NOT how you do business.

Avoid this location! Unhelpful, rude and can't figure out how to return Amazon item without charging for additional packaging.

Hands down the grumpiest, crankiest customer service I've ever experienced. I can get way friendlier service from the UPS across town.

Someone walked over and told me that the guy that does printing doesn't come in until 2p, so I can wait for an hour and come back or use self-service. It was just one sheet of paper so I opted for self-service. I'm preparing to print my sheet, but I wanted to use cardstock so I asked another guy if I can have a sheet of cardstock for my printing job and he said the guy that does printing isn't here so I can wait for him or come back because he wasn't sure if the printer can take cardstock. Unbelievable! There were at least 5-6 employees at the store and NO ONE knew how to use their printer? That is absolutely ridiculous. If you plan to come here to print something, make sure you call ahead to see if someone is even there to assist because it was such a waste of my time when no one there could help. This is a 2 star review because they were all nice, but not helpful at all.

And a few other simple prints on paper. The guy on the phone I originally spoke to was helpful and nice. The one star comes due to my in person experience. I go in and ready to have them print my job and the gal says sorry we don't do name tags if it's on perforated paper because the printer will jam it. I explained that I spoken to someone a few days before and they said there was no issue. I also noted that the paper says it can be done in an ink jet - I just don't have one. She refused to help me and I was now stuck in a major bind. Frustrated, stressed and annoyed I drive to FedEx Printing team off First Street and they saved the day. I wouldn't ever trust coming to this location as different information is given. I'll def be taking my promotions to FedEx.

He did some good things when we started the project. I decided to leave a 2 star review because of how this project ended up. September 25,2023: We started communicating with Bob for our building signs. On the 1st-2nd week, he came out to see our shop to discuss with us our project. Oct 5: He stopped by in our shop. After this, it took him 2-3 weeks of not responding due to some excuses. We patiently waited. Oct 21: Bob finally got back to us to send an updated estimate but then informed us that he'll be on a vacation from Oct 24-Nov 13. That's almost a month! We still patiently waited and respected his time again. We were expecting, he'll contact us back few days after his vacation but he did not. We were the one following up on him. Nov 21: After a month, he responded to us with an excuse again . He said he was sick. It was totally fine and we understood but nobody in the company did not even bother to update a client. Nov 29: We're back communicating with Bob. No signs of disrespect or disappointment on our end towards him after all these months of just working with the estimate and the project plan. Dec 05: About to finalize the estimate so we can give the deposit and get this project started. We called him around 30 minutes before 5pm. Bob's tone was no longer polite. Then I have to call him back as we had few customers that I needed to assist. He was not happy about that. I called him back around 10 minutes before 5pm, I felt he was in a hurry and didn't want to finalize it. I even asked if he could give me 5-10 more minutes as there were 3 line items that we needed to review. He threw some aggressive and offensive words which my partner heard. After the argument, Bob said we'll talk and set up an appointment tomorrow at 9am. The next day came, he didn't call us at 9am so we called him few minutes after 9am and he did not answer the call. We called again the following day and he never answered! We felt like we were working only on Bob's terms, we don't want a one sided business with anyone. We want it TWO WAY BUSINESS. We respected and patiently waited for Bob. We never showed rudeness and disrespect for all these months working with him until BOB became disrespectful. We should be upset, disappointed and frustrated with how Bob dealt with this project and for dragging our time but we didn't. We chose to understand his excuses and situations. We wasted 3 months with WORLDWIDE SIGNS. Bob put us in too much delay. We had a few companies that were willing to work with us but we had to decline them as we feel he was serious with our project. One thing we can't never FORGET was when BOB suddenly FLIPPED and said "Wooh, wooh, wooh, WE'RE DONE HERE!!!!. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!! Really? That's how easy for you to dump your client? That's how easy you get frustrated over the phone? Bob can't even give his almost 30 minutes but he can DRAGGED CUSTOMER'S 3 MONTHS? WHAT ABOUT OUR 3 MONTHS THAT JUST GOT INTO WASTE???? 3 MONTHS OF WAITING FOR NOTHING!!!! You're right Bob, WE NEED TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY. Thank you for all your LIMITED TIME AND EFFORT working with us. Thank you,

I'm planning my daughter's first birthday which includes me going happily overboard with DIY plans and decorations. I needed posters, pictures, cut outs, mini collages, etc. I procrastinated as all new moms do because life, am I right? And panic set in because I was less than a week out and I couldn't figure out how and where to get my prints. In comes Neeraj and his team of incredibly sweet and amazing people. First issue - I took screenshots from Pinterest that I needed blown up but clear. But I have no idea how to do that and no amount of ChatGPT could help me. Neeraj upscaled the picture on his end and invited me to come in to view a large sample before they completed the full poster print. We actually changed the size, picture and resolution one more time before I signed off. He was patient with me, despite me coming in at their busiest time of the evening. Squirrel - I have to mention that my sister first reached out to Neeraj weeks ago over the phone, just inquiring about services. Neeraj and his team kept her information and followed up to make sure she was taken care of. It was like our bff was just checking in on us because they were there to help, not to make money on a service. That alone was the reason why we came back. Second issue - I expected to only have the poster printed at UPS and have all of my other prints done at CVS for same day pick up because I had some more editing and resolution fixes to do. NOPE! Why does no one do matte prints? Well doesn't matter anyway bc Neeraj does!!!! Literally whatever size or finish you need, he's got you. And wait for the last issue... Third issue - so I'm a first time mom and I don't have the brain capacity to plan things out more than a few days at best. Here we are, the week of the party. I got Neeraj all of the files by Wednesday 8am, and the party is Saturday. Guess when he called me to tell me they were ready? I'll wait..... Wednesday at 5pm!!!!! Are you kidding me? Same day?!?! I was hopeful for Thursday evening which would give me just enough time to finish everything. The amount of stress his team has taken off my shoulders has been unmeasurable. Impressed is an understatement! As I mentioned, this experience has made me feel like I'm finally home. I never expected to be dedicated to a shipping company, but this experience has shown me it's so much more. I'll share pictures of the DIYs once complete so you can see all the work I put on this team. I'm so happy. UPS is lucky to have Neeraj and his team representing them. Thank you guys!!!!!
