    My original drawing compared to this absolutely horrible FedEx-printed business card.

    I went in yesterday at 5pm to print some business cards here. I had made up my design and scanned it on FedEx's printer with the intention of using their online print service. I am experienced using printers and scanners and editing images on computers; it is a large part of what I do for work. I scanned my image at 400 DPI and emailed it to myself, then used the pay-per-minute FedEx computer to edit the image in Photoshop, being mindful to keep the resolution and quality as high as possible. I ended up with a 6MB business-card-sized PNG file from an original 400dpi PDF scan, which I think is more than adequate for a simple print job. Still using the pay-per-minute computer, I went into FedEx's online printing software, uploaded my image, sized it, and submitted it for printing. The person at the counter told me they'd received it and they would be ready in the morning, so I left, having paid a total of $26 for 100 business cards ($11 for the cards plus $15 for the computer time). When I got to the store to pick up my cards, I was shocked. The cards looked like they had been printed by a potato. They were blurry and hardly legible. I would feel embarrassed giving these to anybody. When I mentioned this to one of the employees, she dismissively told me that it was because I had emailed the scan to myself the day before, instead of transferring it physically from the scanner to the computer on a USB drive. Then she told me it was because I used the wrong file type. At no point was there any admission that the cards looked terrible, any offer to provide assistance or refund any money for these ridiculously expensive and unusable cards. I left, went home and called FedEx support to try and get a refund from them, and after waiting for 20 minutes on hold, I was told that because of the first four numbers in my order number, I had to request a refund from the store manager of the store who printed the cards, and that it was up to the manager's discretion whether to issue a refund. Well, as far as I could tell, the employee who spoke to me was the manager (she was working both days I went in), and she seemed fully intent on blaming me for the issue and covering her own ass. I'm going to go print these myself at the library like I should have done in the first place, and certainly never coming back to a FedEx Office again.

    You can never actually talk to a real person. hate When my packages get sent through Fedex

    I went to this location the other day and the rep who helped me pulled down his mask to sneeze! Dude, THAT IS WHAT YOUR MASK IS FOR!!!

    I went there with a "copy" project that needed to be done. I had two things that needed to be…read moreenlarged on a copier and a set of plans that I needed to copies of. I was there on a Monday afternoon and was told that it would be ready on Wednesday. They said I could pay extra and have it done immediately, or wait for them to do it, which would make it ready on Wednesday. I didn't need them immediately so I said Wednesday would be fine. They said keep an eye on your email because if they're done early, will let you know. I didn't receive an email so I went there on Wednesday afternoon to pick them up at which time they told me they were not ready but I could come back at 7 PM and they would be ready. I decided not to go back that night at 7 PM, but I went the next morning around 8:30 AM and guess what they still were not done. In fact, they hadn't even been started yet. So I had to wait and the young lady behind the counter did the project for me. I asked to speak to the manager, whose name was Shawn. I explained the situation to him, and he proceeded to tell me that it was my fault for expecting them to be done at the last minute?? I told him I didn't understand because I came in on Monday and they told me I could pick them up on Wednesday not that I said I needed them by Wednesday. He told me there is never a set time when projects will be finished; you just have to watch for the email that says they are finished. I feel like if I waited for an email I would be waiting still to this day. That manager, Shawn was absolutely useless and had no customer service abilities. Mind you I wasn't asking for anything from him, just letting him know the situation. You can imagine, I will not be back to this location or probably any location for this kind of need. Moving forward I'll most likely find another place that can do the job in a timely manner.
