Due to life hitting me like a bunch of bricks I wasn't able to be fully packed like I usually am, so I sprung for the full service move and they handled my items and possessions as if they were their own. They packed my old apartment quickly and efficiently, at our new place they dropped boxes in the correct rooms, asked for guidance on some furniture and even set up our beds and labeled certain boxes to be opened first (for things that you'd need quickly, like food in the kitchen, or personal items for the bathrooms). While I hope not to need their service for a while because I'm in love with my new place, if and when we need to move again we will always reach out to them first! For my move, I was up against a time constraint and didn't have time to do pack, load up a truck, etc... We had Brian stop by and he spent about an hour and a half putting together a quote. It felt a little sticker shocky but I didn't really have a choice. I did love how they gave us a full itemized line item breakdown of the quote. It made it very easy to understand what we would be paying for. Brian worked with us to refine the quote. It was a tricky one because we were putting half of our stuff in storage locally and the other half was coming with us to our new residence about three hours away. He was really responsive, professional, and had solid answers for all of our obnoxious questions. Because of our work schedule we couldn't do the move in consecutive days so Brian scoped out the project to do the local pack on a Wednesday and then return on Friday to pack and load the remaining items. Then unload us on Saturday AM at the new place. The team showed up and looked like a pirate crew of personalities. But lemme tell you, these were some of the most polite, careful, and hard working folks I have met. I'm not exaggerating. There were so many times that they didn't think I was watching, and I'd see them add a little extra padding to the corner of a table to protect it, or add an additional box around a TV to ensure the screen was safe in transit. They treated our stuff as if it was their own. I was SO happy that I didn't feel any need to micromanage. They quickly earned my trust and I stayed out of their way. I didn't hear them complain once. They rolled out the red carpet for us. Literally. To protect the floors, walls, and doors. As we were unpacking in our new place, it became even more clear how careful they had packed our stuff. Even though we were only relocating 3 hours, they could have safely shipped our things internationally. When it was time to pay up, guess what! They had realized they quoted us too much and gave us a refund. Like a big one. They could have EASILY just kept that money and we'd never been any the wiser.
