Service people are great. For some reason the store stopped taking USPS packages. I had a really small one to send with my UPS package and they wouldn't take the USPS one. They used to...now I have to find a new spot for those. read more

This location has completely failed at providing basic professionalism and respect. I came in to drop off Amazon packages at the self-checkout, and what should have been a routine visit turned into an unacceptable experience. A plus-sized white woman decided she couldn't wait her turn and stood so close to me that it invaded my personal space. When I calmly asked her to step back--a reasonable and necessary request--she dismissed it and told me she doesn't mind people being in her space. That is irrelevant. My boundaries matter, and I have every right to enforce them. The real problem? The UPS employee at the counter, a woman of color who should understand how harmful this dynamic can feel, chose to side with the other customer and was blatantly rude to me. Instead of maintaining professionalism, she dismissed my concerns, spoke down to me, and refused to acknowledge my right to personal space. This is not just poor customer service--it's a clear example of bias and internalized oppression showing up in the workplace. I remained calm and respectful throughout, yet I was treated as if my comfort and dignity didn't matter. That is unacceptable. UPS employees are paid to provide professional service, not to invalidate customers or enable disrespectful behavior. UPS Corporate: This is a training and accountability issue. Your staff needs immediate education on boundaries, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. If this is how customers are treated, you risk losing trust and business. Until corrective action is taken, I will take my business elsewhere--and I strongly advise others to do the same. read more

I stooped in because a package I sent was showing delivered, but we need not receive. I did not ask for insurance or a signature, which I will in the future. I was so impressed with Matt; he took me in the back room and completed the claim form for me. Outstanding customer service! read more

Tried to do an Amazon return. Started at kohl's and then walked over here. When I arrived, I learned I had walk 40 minutes one way (I'm on vacation and wanted to walk) only to learn I needed to print a label.... The lady behind the counter took my phone (with permission) and canceled and then reset up the return. Just so mind blowing that someone would be that nice in this day and age. Went in there to return some shoes and the clerk scanned my barcode and she said in a very rude way... "this needs a box" I told her no cause on my directions it says it doesn't need a box. Then she said to me " well then I don't think the carrier will feel comfortable taking it." I looked at her and said ok, it does t need a box. So if you go here please be prepared for the rude clerk to snap at you. read more

Wanted to charge $2 for a piece of tape less than 12" . Or I could purchase a $2 roll for 6 bucks took my Amazon return somewhere else.

Avoid this! I'd give it a zero star if I can. Mailed a 2-page document signed by the Secretary of State of WA for a One-day delivery to the midwest. It was an urgent mail, thus, needed the fastest route. Almost 3 weeks later, still not resolved. Package apparently got "misplaced" and misdirected internationally to Canada then was in "customs for days" with no timeframe and ETA. No amount of money to recover from stress, inconvenience and time wasted. Not recommended. read more

I do not ever have an issue when the manager is there. I do not remember my mailbox number, yet if anyone other than the manager tries to find my mailbox by using my ID, they have issues. Usually he is there and shows them how easy it is to find. Today, this younger lady could not find my box using my ID, then after finding it, told me to either write it down or remember it. I am a veteran with disabilities. I have TBI and do not have the ability to remember so many things and definitely do not want my information written down in case I lose my wallet. I asked her, "What if I came in and just said my mailbox number, how would you verify it is mine?" She said with my ID. I apologized to her saying I am not trying to be rude but I am not understanding why it was difficult and why she had to give me such a hard time. She said I was being rude and to have a nice day since she was done with me. I am tired of poor customer service just because they don't know how to do their job. I hope this rating leads to her being humble enough to take some initiative and learn how to do her job appropriately; especially do not treat a customer like they are the problem. read more

Don't do Amazon returns to this location, they don't return the product to Amazon and you get recharged months later. I have had three different items handled this way. they are stealing returns. read more

This UPS store is AMAZING. I was returning a whole bed frame and was having trouble with the box it came in and the lady at the front desk helped me pick out a new box and package it up. I don't do returns a lot and it meant SO MUCH when she helped me like she did. I received attentive care and didn't feel like a complete idiot afterwards lol. What awesome people and service! I thought they were open until 7pm (they close at 6) and just walked in at almost 6:10. They helped with my quick return and were incredibly nice about it even though I apologized and said I'd come back another time. On a Saturday night! May at The UPS Store #7168 at 4250 Martin Way E STE 105 OLYMPIA, WA was just simply amazing. I am in Texas had my daughter moving back from Olympia Washington she was in an area hotel, no car and a pile of stuff to ship back. May made sure that the boxes were delivered to the hotel and really was helpful in making sure my daughter was able to pack everything to be shipped by UPS. Great customer service.
