This is the worst FedEx ever. No one has a clue what they are doing. Three boxes were definitely onsite for three days and no one could find them and no one seemed concerned AT ALL about it. Four people behind the desk, on their personal phones with a line out the door. Use UPS! read more

Charge you handling fees for getting your packages that were delivered to the hotel. Complete scam.

Awful service with ridiculous fees! Had an Amazon package (size of an envelope) delivered to the hotel, but when I went to pick it up from the front desk, they said I had to go to Fed Ex. So I went, and the cashier said there would be a $2 fee. I have never, ever been charged a fee for receiving an envelope at a hotel! I reluctantly pay the fee, and wait. A couple minutes later, another guy does the same thing, but DOESN'T get charged a fee. The cashier tells him that since they're already delivering mine, it will be one trip, so he doesn't need to pay. What?! I end up waiting for 10 minutes and I go back to the counter and ask what the deal is. He said they can't find the other guy's package. So I say, well I need to be somewhere, can you deliver it to my room? And he said, "Sure, but that will be an additional charge." OMFG. Moral of the story is, don't get a package delivered to the hotel if at all possible. If you do, just beware that it costs money and they are slow. read more

Located at the Gaylord Hotel. FedEx is known as a service center but definitely not here. They don't believe in service. We went to pick up a package sent to the hotel since we were staying there for a work event. As we apothecary counter there was a guy at the back computer. He never got up from his seat just asked us what we needed and then shouted back and forth as he "tried" to assist us. We gave him the recipients first and last name and he said he could not locate anything under that name, tried giving him the company name and nothing. He was not helpful and was super rude. Well onto the next package that we were looking for this time we gave him the tracking number and miraculously he found both packages which were under the name previously given. Along with crappy service they charge ridiculous fees just to get a package delivered there. This should be your last resort if you have to use their services. read more

Love that you have fed ex right next to the convention hall at all your Gaylord hotels. Lot easier then trying to go down the street to pick up and ship packages for national oncology meetings. read more

Charged me to $12 to pick up 2 packages from Amazon. I can't believe a hotel thinks it's ok to charge a fee for receiving mail. Garbage policy. Beware they charge by weight. It can be hundreds of dollars. read more

LeMiya was extremely helpful with my print job! Took me a minute to find the place, as it is on the second floor of the Gaylord Center. Small and quaint, don't expect it to be like a normal FedEx Kinkos. LeMiya and her team were patient and understanding when I had an issue corrected with my document. Her manager even gave me a discount (as I did not know any orders processed at this area are subject to a hotel fee - and it ain't cheap!) which made my total a little easier to swallow. Service was great but I don't think I would return just because my document was quoted online at $25 and they wanted to charge me almost $60 (hotel fee - none of which is stated on FedEx's website so I DO NOT blame the staff here, they were great) I normally go to Alexandria and I'll probably keep going there. If I could give less then 1 I would. Unprofessional, unhelpful and take no responsibility Had a parcel sent to the hotel overnight with fedex and it was received and signed for. Went to the office to pick it up and they said they didn't have it and didn't know the person who signed for it and that it was maybe delivered to the exhibition hall. They direct me to check in the exhibitions that were taking place of which the were about 7, I checked with 4 of them and none of them had the package or heard of the person who had signed for it. I went back to the office to say I could not locate it and as a customer found it strange that I had to go searching for a package that was delivered by fedex to a fedex location. The person behind the desk said it wasn't his problem and became very loud and unprofessional. I pointed out that he was being unprofessional and as a customer of fedex found his attitude very strange. He basically said not his problem and I should track it myself to find who had signed for it, I had to call the 1800 number who were very helpful unlike the idiot behind the desk. Turns out fedex delivered it to the wrong address, still trying to get the package back read more

So I had a package shipped here overnight. I got notification that it was available for pickup. Went to pick it up. Staff could not have been less interested in doing their job. Finally found my item, then of course, I had to pay more for their wonderful service. I understand that the pick up fee is a FedEx charge - which seems ridiculous - since there is additional charge for delivery. There is no excuse for the rude behavior of the staff, however. read more

I would have to describe the attitude of the two young women working at this office as aggressively unhelpful. They seemed to go about their tasks at a glacial pace and I witnessed them purposefully ignore a customer for an extended period of time. So much so that the two of us waiting in line exchanged glances of disbelief at how rudely we were being treated. On top of the bad attitudes, I was charged an almost $400 handling fee to receive my wrapped/palletized shipment and transport it from the loading dock to the conference hall. When my coworker brought back the exact same equipment for return shipping he was only charged half that amount for handling. (We contracted with a separate company for the actual shipping) This type of random cost calculation is incredibly unprofessional and leads me to question FedEx's business practices on a corporate wide level. Also, the Gaylord nickle-and-dimes guests for everything and this "Office Center" is no exception. It cost me almost $5 to print a one page document. The only reason they are able to get away with this type of behavior and over charging is because they have a monopoly at the hotel. Exhausted travelers and conference attendees are willing to pay since it's probably on their company dime and they just want to get out of there as fast as possible! read more
