This location has nothing but lazy people "working" here. Typically they are fast and friendly but this one lacks the intelligence to be fast and efficient. Went to print out a shipping label and the Hispanic woman came out with a whole piece of paper from corner to corner with the label, she smirked and told me that it's colored and 2 dollars. I told her that it was a shipping label and it needed to be scanned and in a smaller dimension, so she sent me to the floor to do it manually and scan the paper and downscale it to a smaller size, when in fact I would just sent the email to them directly and just pay. I've been to FedEx before to multiple locations across the country and never had any issues printing documents. This time the interface kept freezing and really taking up time I didn't have to spare. I asked one of their employees - Allison - for help and she was able to print them from her console with ease and got me out of there in a jiffy! However the reason they're getting 5 stars is because Allison wasn't just helpful but went out of her way to do so. Terrible Customer Service and Lazy Assistant Manager Matthew G. Assistant Manager, was very disrespectful and started talking over me when I explained that his team for over a year has been charging me a specific price for laminations for over a year! He excuse was that everyone else was wrong and that he just needed to retrain all of those employees. He also told me that I was not the only customer and that I had no idea about all the work that they have. This I understand and I am a business owner too but you never tell a customer that he is not important or that he doesn't understand and try to speak over his voice. He told me "go to and take my $.50 complaint somewhere else". This attitude is unacceptable in today's competitive industry. Today you either provide good customer service or you lose customers . In all honesty .50 is not a reason big enough to lose a customer. I told him that it was not the .50 but his attitude. Today I went to get my lamination at the time they told me and as soon as I arrived he had barely picked it up and put it in the lamination machine. This is not the first time that I have problems with this office. I will be reporting Matt G to corporate because I am sure I am not the only one who he has mistreated like this. read more

It's been awhile since I used them and no wonder. Kinkos use to have great customer service and a variety of paper to choose from for your printing needs. Not anymore. I went there the other day to mail a package. Scott, the guy behind the counter, was an interesting character. He was super beyond-all-reason helpful. He had this strange Southern accent that I've never heard before. He made the experience almost surreal. Should you ever need Fedex services and you're in the area, go there. Ask for Scott. If he's not there go back later and see if he's working. It's worth it. Other than that, there was just a lot of copying and regular business stuff going on. read more

Go to UPS!! I came here because I had to turn in a assignment for school and my scanner wasn't working so I figured I could get them to scan a few papers and email them to me for a buck or two. They said they couldn't do that unlike a UPS store. My options were to either pay to use there over priced computers at like 70 cents a minute with a single page scanner or they could sell me a USB and put it on the overpriced 11$ USB.. From now on I will continue to give my business to UPS stores and plan better in the future so I don't end up having to use this late night crap store again read more

Used this location to print invitations. Initial meeting was great; associate made suggestions on paper, offered to cut the invitations out, to print multiple copies on one page ("this will save you money!"). They were ready the next day, even before agreed upon deadline. One catch: she didn't disclose that the cutting and putting the 2 on one piece of paper were significant added expenses . Added 50% to the cost of my order of two dozen invites. $10 for the paper cutting (what recession??) and $5 for "file enhancement" (aka printing 2 copies on one page). If this had been proposed beforehand, I'd have said, "Uh, thanks but no thanks." A VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Helene, the location's manager wrote me about my prior negative review and asked to make it right. She offered to refund the entire order and apologized. I have to say --- a very impressive move. There's no doubt FedEx does great work and fast. Now I can say they want repeat business. This was a teachable moment for the staff and I'm grateful for their high tech and expedient response. This was not a high dollar order. They could have just easily let me walk with my business but they did the honorable thing. I'm upping my review to four stars and will be back. read more

I've tried on several occasions to use the self service function which advertises that you can use Dropbox, however it never works! Than you're stuck trying to find help because you entered your payment info and can't just walk away with a staff member clearing the screen. You than have to send your documents to FedEx print email for a code. The set-up to help customers needs work, you have self service area with no assistance offered, and other staff stuck behind the counter helping other customers. You need a better system. I needed to use the fax machine too, and it didn't seem to be working, I had to wait more time in line. To print 3 sheets and to fax took 45 min! When you're in a jam and need to print 24/7, that's the only plus. read more

SO disappointed. I had a 55in flat panel TV shipped from this store to a location in Texas as I was moving. They reassured me that they would pack it for me and it would be guaranteed. I also insured it just in case. Of course is shows up to Texas and it's broken! I have called customer service 4 times and everytime they tell me the claims department is unavailable, not accepting phones calls, or closed. I called at 8am, 9am, 1:30pm, and 4pm on a Tuesday. The TV was $800 and it cost me $400 to ship, so now I am out $1200. I am absolutely appalled by the level of service I am receiving. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR STUFF. read more

I dropped off a large package (weighed about 40lbs). FedEx packed and shipped it for me. I checked a few days later after the package was supposed to arrive, and the tracking said delayed. The last scan of the package was somewhere in Phoenix. I had to call customer service several times. They kept telling me an agent would call me back with more information. No one did. I called again, spoke with someone, and they told me the "package is probably lost, and to file a claim". So I did. Again, crickets. No phone call from anyone. I called again, finally got in touch with someone at the claims department. They approved the claim, and are paying me for what I put down as the value of the package when I shipped it. Great. However, it was materials for a product we make, for our business, and will ultimately loose thousands of dollars from. They did absolutely nothing to try and find the package! When I asked, what they did - the lady just kept repeating the same phrase "we accepted your claim and will be sending you a check". I kept saying, I understand you're sending me a check, but what did you guys do to try and find the package? She wouldn't answer the questions. Here's what I've learned from this experience. 1) if you ship with fedex, specifically for your business, put down not only the value of the goods your shipping, BUT the total value of what you'll loose if that package disappears. It's worth the extra cost. 2) If the package does get lost, they will do NOTHING to find it. There is zero accountability, and they don't care 3) No one at the branch or any of the branches can do anything to help you. You have to call in, and talk with a customer service agent overseas. Who again, will do nothing. I've had better and more helpful customer support from USPS and will never ship FedEx again. read more

I worked at the Tempe Kinko's years ago, during which time an anarchist co-worker remarked: "We are the factory workers of the Information Age." Profound? It sort of is if management drops you in a baby blue monkey-suit and makes you don an apron. Think about it. Kinko's workers essentially perform the same routine task day in and day out in their stations (on busier days) for low wages. It's Fordism transferred to the copy shop. Like factory workers, we also employed the "weapons of the weak" (work slowdowns and discounts to customers to cut into corporate profits) to covertly express our discontent with our work situation. That was then, of course, and this is now at a different store. But I get it...the job sucks...big time...and employees are just going through the motions to a get a paycheck. With that said, I am still not a big fan of this Kinkos, at least not late at night. I guess they fake it less well than employees at other stores. I have been in twice recently at night and the service has sucked. Coming to the counter to help a customer appeared to be a sizeable burden for any of the number of employees behind the counter (part of this is due to a company policy that says that you are not to leave your station). When one finally did make it to the front, little attempt was made to hide his lack of enthusiasm for the job and disdain for customers. I'm not sure, but he may be on the graveyard crew. That may account for something, since the Kinko's graveyard workers that I have known have been a little off. The last time I went in to get resume copies on E1 (cotton paper with a watermark). The guy took the order and processed it quickly, but he copied it with the watermark upside down. I can't imagine that being a deal breaker in a hiring decision, but it could be one of those attention to details things that looks a little bad. I sort of felt like a ass asking for my order to be redone with the watermark facing the right way, but I wanted a polished looking resume (which is why I went with the cotton paper in the first place). In any case, the guy told me "no," that it would be too much trouble to go through the sheets and face them the right way. Having worked there, I know that you are supposed to make copies with the watermark facing the right direction and that it is not a big deal to do so. If you make a mistake, all you have to do is flip the paper and do it again. That was too much for this guy apparently. As much as I can empathize with the guy for having to work behind that counter, I wish he would have shown a different way to express his dissatisfaction with the job. It would have been much cooler of him to get back at the man by hooking me up then my effing up my order. read more

Another update, I used FedEx printing to make a banner for Eric's birthday to post up on our Tour de Tavern pub crawl and it came out perfect! At first I wanted to just print it on regular paper, but the guy at the counter told me I could get a quality outdoor banner for almost the same price (It was on sale). So I gave them the file and let them know I needed it the next day. They called me later that day to let me know it was ready early which worked out great because I was able to pick it up after work without the birthday boy finding out! They always have some sort of special in the store or I see different offers pop up when I check in on Yelp. Great place for printing! read more

It seems there is a major emphasis on self sufficiency. Although I've never had an issue using the machines, when I've seen others needing assistance, patience becomes important. It is a classic example of people wanting cheap services but want an emphasis on customer service.
