This location continues to remind me that they are the best and ONLY store I should go to. There are 4 near me in Scottsdale and Arcadia area and I have had some form of issue or trouble at all but this one! I low key wish they had not remodeled because it had that old money Biltmore/Arcadia feel before. Located right by and in the same parking lot as the OG Tarbell's (IYKYK!) The service regardless of the employee is fantastic and they are always helpful. Parking and getting in and out is a little frustrating sometimes but just word of caution-not their fault! They just gave me a courtesy service for an inconvenience-again; not their fault. Kind of wish I knew who the owner is because he should know how great they are doing! read more

This people in this store are wonderful!! Robert has been especially helpful every time I come in, which is several times a week. They take their time trouble shooting issues and even know me by name!! I am amazed at how rude people are to the employees. I LOVE this UPS store!!! Minus the parking lot being a little weird (not their fault), it is so close to my home, there's rarely a wait and if there is, they're working hard to get everyone in and out. I also absolutely love that they're open until 6 PM! It gives you an extra hour after work to get there which is so helpful. I stood in line at the US Post Office for about 15 minutes, only to find out that my stuff (packed in my own box) didn't qualify for any of their Priority Mail flat rates...it would ONLY if I crammed it into their own awkwardly-sized, long, flat box. I would've had to tear open my own taped-up box (with what??), unpack everything in it (in front of all these people waiting in line??), re-pack it in their long, very flat box (what if some of my items weren't that flat??) and then could save $4. Exasperated, I gave them their "Priority Mail" tape back, hopped in the car, and Yelped for the nearest UPS store. Found it at Camelback & 32nd. Two employees were on hand, one busy with another customer so the other stepped right up to help me. The UPS employee gave me several shipping options, and I chose the one which got my box off to its destination for $2 cheaper than the USPS, and also INCLUDED a tracking number. I have shipped from this location several times, and they are usually expedient and helpful. However, I recently received a little different experience than I have in the past. I wanted to purchase a couple boxes but was unsure of the sizes, so I was quoted prices which was very helpful. But then I was asked what was I shipping, and I said hand me down clothes for a less fortunate family with small children out-of-state. I was then asked why I just don't send the cash instead of paying for shipping? Duh? Isn't this a shipping place? I was then told, "I've seen a lot of people make a lot of stupid mistakes!" Another DUH!!! Implying I'm stupid? Hmm... Maybe I'll try a different location instead. Customer Service class should be mandatory! read more

So, a guy walks into a UPS Store with a Scuba Suit... Yes, this actually happened last week while I'm filling in the forms that I had emailed ( my printer died last week) over to The UPS Store near Tarbell's and Sportsman's on 32nd & Camelback. The guy was shipping the suit and was very concerned about insuring it. "No problem" says 1 0f the 2 men college age guys working there. In the meantime, I also had to copy my AZ Drivers License and a Thai Massage Certificate (proof of 25 hours of CEU's) for my AZ Massage License. And here is the cool part and why they receive a fiver in this review, No Charge For The Printing! It is less than a buck, I get that, but it is also a simple gesture of great service. So... does anyone know of a great, inexpensive tech that can fix my dead HP printer? read more

The owner of this store, Mark is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. He needs to go back to learn customer service techniques. How UPS keeps him as the "Face" of UPS is beyond me. When I said I'd be filing a complaint with UPS he said go ahead. My customer was there to retrieve a package and Mark told her to get away from his counter while she was standing there doing absolutely nothing. She felt threatened by him and he did all this in front of other customers. This man is a disgrace. And his yelp rating of 3 stars speaks for itself. When I went in, I asked the cashier if the transaction was completed and they made it seem as if everything was ready to go. When I asked for them to print out my shipping label, the cashier ALONG with the manager started to yell at me accusing me of not paying yet. Confused, I reiterated what the cashier had told me and they continued to yell, telling me I was wrong. Some of the rudest employees I have ever met. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I will never be going back to that location and I recommend no one else does. Shame on them. read more

No sanitizer for customer use. You must open door to enter/exit and touch keypad for credit purchase/ yet did not see anybody clean before/after use. Most are wearing masks. But there was one employee sorting mail behind counter, within a few feet of customers with mask hanging around neck talking and talking. That does no good. Ridiculous. read more

Told them about the situation at the other store, not only did they give me a 10% discount and stick to the original quote, but they had me in and out with a receipt in 5 minutes. I LOVE this UPS store! After a few bad moments of self-wrapping items to ship, I was in need of a retailer who could carefully pack items for me to ship to our restaurants located out of state. I came across the UPS store based on proximity to my office, and could not be happier that I did! The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, and they do a superb job of packing my items for me! They have a quick turn-around time, and are really helpful. I would highly recommend using them for any packing and shipping. read more

Mark- the bald guy is who works here (claims he is the owner) is quite possibly the most bitter old man I have ever encountered. UPS shouldn't enable such an unpleasant man to work for the company and treat customers so poorly. I went in to return a package and was treated with such disrespect and personally insulted. "How old are you? If I ever had a daughter your age with this attitude I would be ashamed. You probably are a huge disappointment to your parents." All because I asked why I needed to buy a box if I selected the "no packaging no label needed" option when starting the amazon return. Not to mention I am a 21 year old woman who deserves to be respected as a customer! I will never be returning to this location or contributing to their business again. This is my first Yelp review but I feel like as a good person I should stick up for this store and the clerk that took all this negative abuse. I came into this location on Thursday afternoon around 2ish to return a package and while I was in the store this customer was screaming at the male clerk behind the counter. While I was there this customer was completely rude and belittling to the clerk. The customer told the clerk several times how he didn't like him and he hated him. He also said something like his wife is someone's granddaughter implying like they should get special treatment cause of that. The clerk sat calmly behind the counter for several mins and let this guy mistreat him and belittle him. When he got a chance he tried to calm the customer down and address his concerns. Which sounded like to me had nothing to do with this store. This customer would not even acknowledge the fact the clerk was trying to assist him. He kept rudely Interrupting the clerk again telling him that he doesn't like him and his wife doesn't like him. I commend the clerk for his calm response and his willingness to try and help even after this guy was so disrespectful. This is why I feel it is necessary to leave a great review for this gentleman, he was very professional. No one needs to take that kinda abuse from anyone. read more

I am really confused by the behavior of the employees at this store, specifically a woman named Elyse. Every single experience I have ever had with her is terrible. If you hate your job as much as it seems you do- find a new one. You have a very stress free job- collect shipments, run a cash register, hand off packages to the real hard working UPS employees (the drivers) and collect a paycheck. I have used this store on a number of occasions in the past 6 months. I have had shipping orders as well as printing orders and they have exceeded my expectations every time. The items that I have shipped from this location, arrived on time and in perfect condition. In a couple cases, I had to have things shipped to myself to meet me in another city. Upon opening my own packages, I was able to see their packaging quality; 5 stars every time and nothing was ever damaged. I've needed printed items that will be seen by a national audience and the products received were high quality and at reasonable pricing. They communicated promptly and thoroughly with me to ensure my specifications were understood before the final product was produced. I have great confidence in this store and their service is friendly and professional. I won't hesitate to do business with them again! read more
