I went to this location to overnight documents. I approached a register where the manager was unpacking a box of supplies. Instead of helping me, he sent me over to the other register where a worker was helping another customer with a somewhat complicated order. I waited, and when I was finally my turn, the manager called the customer who was behind me over to help them while I was being helped. Pretty poor service in my opinion. read more

I went in for two very simple things, a return and an overnight shipment. The gentleman there on Monday, September 8 before 10 am was extremely rude and argumentative for no reason. It seem like he really wasn't in the mood to help. This has happened with others there. I will need to see if there are other FedEx locations in neighboring towns because it's not worth starting off your day with nasty workers who have no customer services skills. Do better. read more

I had a package with a prepaid label on that I just had to drop off but the employee there stated that they did not accept packages that were "wrapped". Mind you, my package was already in its original shoe box, wrapped in brown shipping paper. When I stated it was in a box, he made me unwrap the item and show him the box. How absolutely embarrassing when they have a line there to make a customer unwrap a package to "prove" that's it's in a box. The item is clearly in the box and my intent was to ship the item in its original shoe box. Instead, he made me but an 8 dollar box. What plain cardboard box is 8 dollars? Clearly this was all an attempt to grab more money. I have shipped many packages with FedEx at other locations in the same manner and have never had an issue. I will never be back here and would not recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I will completely avoid FEDEX going forward as a result of my experience here. read more

Male employee complained about the box I was shipping my package in. My father is a federal express employee and there is no policy stating you have to use a FedEx box. This man told me he'd let it slide for now. I went to the express ship center in Mahwah and the employee joked about the box but was happy to accept it. I paid for the label there is no reason to make a comment about what box it is in. Older white male employee. A shame I didn't catch his name. read more

Refused to accept a package--complained about the boxing. Fedex in Paramus accepted without a problem. Have tried to drop off returns as a part of the HappyReturn service. Somehow their system is always down --again, Paramus has no such issues. Watched me walk in with 6 huge packages and did nothing to help (except ask me to move a dolly out of the way) read more

I needed to send a package tuite suite so I was on Franklin Turnpike and voila! FedEx Kinko's. Went in and zippidy doo da in no time I had my package over nighted to my client. Very pleasant, quick and prices are reasonable. Go FedEx Kinko's! read more

I went there today to print a color photo on a glossy paper to use in my passport renewal that i needed done urgently - i had it ready to go on a SD card. He said he doesn't handle "legally sensitive" documents. I explained that these were just photos and i don't understand how that's a legal liability for him. Then he said he wasn't able to print on glossy paper because his printers up front can't handle them; after some more back and forth, he admitted he CAN print them (using the printers behind the counter) but just won't do it. Told me he can sell me glossy paper and i can print it myself, and the Walgreen's next door also does passport photos. I called the FedEx main customer service line and spoke with a customer relationship staff, inquiring about their policies regarding photos that can be used for passport renewals in their Print & Ship locations. What they told me is that this IS their policy - but basically what i found out was that there isn't a real "legal" issue, but they offer passport photo as a service ($15 for two pics) so they don't want people doing it themselves for a $1. The store owner could have been just upfront about this instead of giving me some "legality" BS and we both would have saved a lot of time and headache. Ended up going to a competitor (Staples - on 1300 N Rte 17 in Ramsey ) and they were able to print (and ship) without any problems - couldn't be nicer. They were actually closer to my home (i just didn't think of them), so i will be going there in the future instead. read more

Save yourself the weeks of wasted time and energy having to have your package re-ordered because they didn't call you and let you know your it arrived. Seriously, have it sent to another local location. Two separate orders, 8 customer service calls, in addition to 2 managers on the case and they still could not answer why this facility sent back the first order without notification or why the second order was refused. Ineffectually, FedEx management (Holly and Marianne) could not facilitate re-delivery to this location for pick up. THE RESULT: a trip out-of-state to pick up what should have been a one day delivery from S. Jersey to N. Jersey. Thanks, FedEx, you're awesome! read more

I need to go to this local FedEx quite often for work. The staff there remembers me (and my husband) and always has my pick up orders ready to go when I arrive. It's refreshing to see this type of customer service from a place like Fed Ex Given how surly employees at the nearby post office can be. I would recommend avoiding this FedEx location for a number of reasons. For starters, the wait to receive assistance is too long, and once you go to drop off your package for example, they try to convince you that your packaging is insufficient, and try to sell you their overpriced packaging service. Visit the FedEx location on RT. 17 S. in Mahwah - you will have a much better experience. read more

Got screwed with my pants on. I sell items online for a side income and recently brought in a brand new in box HP toner cartridge. I've sold toner cartridges numerous times and each time I've been able to ship them from FedEx or UPS by having them slap a sticker on the toner box itself. Putting in the dimensions and weight on shipgooder.com told me that FedEx Ground was the most affordable, so I went to this location. At 9:15, the door was still locked even though the sign on their door said they opened at 8, so I had to bang for over a minute until the guy working there opened the door. First, he charged me $21.15 for the item instead of the $15.40 I was quoted online; ok, a little annoying, but not the end of the world. Then, he asked me if the toner was recyclable. I said no, it was brand new and I was selling it. He told me he was going to have to put it in a FedEx box. and that it would "only be a couple extra bucks." Alright, also a little annoying, but I was selling the thing for a decent profit, so I went along with it. He rang it up, swiped my card and I was shocked to see that my total shipping cost was $33 instead of the $15.40 I originally thought it would be. One stupid box from FedEx cost $11! It cut my margin on the item by a full 12%. read more
