I'm always a bit perplexed that these Fed Ex Office locations get such poor reviews. I go to them all the time, all over the Eastside, and have never had a bad experience. (Knock on wood.) Last week was my first time at this central Redmond location, and I was immediately impressed with how much larger it is than other Fed Ex Office locations. They had a huge array and assortment of things like books, office, and shipping supplies, along with the usual shipping center and copiers. I was there, as usual, to print flyers for some upcoming work events, so I used their super convenient Print & Go service to email my flyers to the Fed Ex cloud and then print on one of their self-service color machines. On this trip, there was a small issue with the printer, but an employee quickly responded and fixed it in a matter of seconds. Other than that, everything went smoothly and they were also able to cut my flyers in half on their handy dandy giganto paper cutting machine too. Fed Ex Office has become a big part of my work-from-home routine, and it's good to know there's one so centrally located in Redmond for next time I'm in need of printing. read more

FedEx has been consistently unreliable. Their delays are unreasonable, and I've had packages go missing more than once. Even when a package is "out for delivery," they fail to leave it at the door and instead take it back for no reason. Customer service is unhelpful, and the overall experience is frustrating. It is unbelievable that so many sellers still use them as their shipping carrier despite these constant issues. If you have an option, use another carrier. read more

I've stopped by at the night because my roomie forgot to bring some ID to Taiwan!! I forgot his name but front desk guy helped me so kindly. Somehow the fastest shipping is the cheapest option for international. He made sure the final destination and make sure that my package has insurance so my roomie can receive in 3days. It was awful service. I needed copy of papers and send to my email. I talked 3 employees and each time they said to me, "read it and do it!" I told them to do it for me. Assis lady came and printed my papers but lady asked me to send email by self service PC. My email password didn't work. I have to change password!!!!!i never change password since I got a gmail. Anyway I did it and finally done. BUT they charging mins .....I have to send one file to my email for $17. !!!!!!!!!!!! I complained this service and fees. They reduced $2.50. But still I'm upset! This facility handled it and do 5 days they claimed that they came by to make the delivery but no one was here. I was here everyday and they never came to my door. Never called. I, of course, called the FedEx customer support and just got the automated service. The final results; this business I ordered from has lost my future fulfillment needs because they use FedEx or USPS and FedEx is unsatisfactory. 2. I'll only be using businesses that don't rely on FEDEX as a delivery service. While the corporation as a whole was not involved in this delivery, they are responsible for their name and ultimately how it reflects. I can't be the only one who has experienced this level of incompetence so the Corp should have fixed it by now and they haven't. My time is too valuable to roll the dice a sixth time. read more

I really don't know what is happening at this location. It was mysteriously closed for about a week in July and when it reopened none of the regular (and excellent) employees were there. Now once again it is closed, my package is in limbo and my vendor indicates that it is permanently closed, however yelp shows open hours daily, google search shows open only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I guess I will have to find another center as this one has become completely unreliable. read more

I like this place, it's a busy location, but really all I do here is ship packages, and the people here are super helpful.. like any good business they will treat you fairly if you do the same, and I always come in looking for help, and they are always there! I appreciate them going the extra mile to help customers, and I realize it's not cheap, but I always seem to get my packages to their destination in a very timely manner, and the managers and shipping staff always find the perfect packaging, and making sure that I get everything I need to get the packages out! read more

BEWARE OF FEDEX GROUND SERVICE - REDMOND. NEVER USE FEDEX TO SHIP ANYTHING.......... 1) Every time the system updates that its in transit vehicle and will be delivered by end of the day today but at the end of the day they update the system internally with FAKE NOTES that they made a delivery attempt and they will deliver later whenever convenient. 2) The delivery driver never follows the delivery instruction and they leave the package in some common place all the time, and sometimes the package is open. 3) The customer care also gave false hope that package will be delivered by end of day today without any exception and that they have already alerted the local Fedex facility center. I am not sure if customer service is giving false information or the facility center does'nt care for any instructions. 4) The other customer care representative said that they have no way to call the facility center or track the product which is extremely shocking. read more

I stopped in to ship two separate items & was pleased with the level of service received. The employees are slow to approach you so if you are not in the sight line you'll probably be waiting around like I did & have to call out for attention. My apartment doesn't have a receiving area. Therefore, I have to pick up my own package at a location. FedEx has been doing a great job notifying me. This is the location I normally pick up my package after work because it's very close to where I work. On Redmond Way, next to Value Village, parking is available but space is very tight. No extra charge to pick up from the location and very friendly service. read more

This place is ridiculous. Thursday, I went in to ship a phone to my mother, who broke hers. They told me if I wanted it delivered on Saturday, it would be over $80. Yes... EIGHTY DOLLARS. The manager I was talking to says "Oh, well, we can get it there Monday instead for $74. A box to ship it in will be $5 extra." I actually asked him if he was out of his fucking mind, since I could ship it via the post office with the same amount of care for $3-5 and walked out. Never before have I seen such ridiculous pricing on something so simple. It was a box that weighed less than 10 oz, even. Went to the post office the next day... Yes, I shipped it on Friday, and it arrived across the country today on Monday, for $2.65 and then an extra $2.50ish for insurance on the package. What a rip off this FedEx is. I'll never go back, nor will I ever ship anything via FedEx again, unless it's a company choosing to ship an item to me on their dime. Fuck you, FedEx. read more

The only star this place gets is for the one employee who acknowledge that we had come through the door even though he was helping another family ahead of us. Another guy in the back (who ended up being the guy "helping" us) didn't bother to assist until it was obvious the first guy was busy. Came in to get my son's passport photo. My son is a little guy. He can sit, and will sit calm and peacefully for a few minutes. Once Kinko's guy found out the passport photo was for a baby, he instantly went from half-smile to no-smile. Then he proceeded to tell us how it was a hopeless case - how babies never sit still, blah blah blah. AND THEN WALKED AWAY! Since we were there already, I just asked to his walking away back - can you at least - is that okay? My son actually was pretty still for quite a bit, but it took the guy at least 3-4 minutes before he would take a shot, and it really did seem like the ONLY time the flash went off, was when my son actually moved. It was like this guy was just trying to prove some point of his. Look mister. I wasn't telling you to like my kid, to be his best friend, to come to my house and babysit. I was asking you to DO YOUR JOB. I'm sorry that was so rough for you. On the flip side, at least he did refer us to somewhere else, but his attitude was crap. If you at least pretend to entertain someone, maybe they won't be so annoyed with you. And I was left wondering if he got some sort of referral for sending us somewhere else... Jerk. BTW, unlike most other locations, their passport "photo area" is literally, some textured wall. Can't you people at least take a big sheet of paper so it looks slightly "nicer"? I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but you guys have plenty of poster sized rolls in stock. Other locations have some sort of a screen at least. read more

Elida served me and I couldn't ask for better service. She made shipping two large packages internationally a breeze. She helped identified issues with one of my packages and had it repackaged in no time and thoroughly explained my shipping options and how customs works. My only complaint and it isn't with this location is that the insurance is a scam. The claims process is complicated and lengthy and they ultimately deny you citing not enough evidence despite clear damage due to mishandling. read more

I often need to call with print questions, and get stuck in a loop that hangs up on me when I hit the 9 option, and have to drive all the way over to find out if they have the paper I need or not. I was trying to ship a rear bumper off of a car recently and had been bounced between three different locations before coming to this store. After being sent away by most places I fully expected the same treatment only for the assistant manager Brett to take a creative solution to the problem, helping me set up shipping with FedEx freight long after closing even though he did not have to. Upon hearing how much it would cost to pick up the item from my residence, the store manager had me leave the bumper at their store and allowed it to be picked up from there instead to save me money. These guys are truly awesome. read more

I had ordered a package that was coming from the East coast. The delivery was on time until it reached the Redmond distribution center. The package was supposed to be delivered but due to a snowy situation, which made it hard for a few days. I was then told, it was going to show up after a week of waiting. And they are saying, due to the back log, it may show up, some time soon. This is the worst service and all the excuses that they have for not delivering it. and its a small package. I saw in the past two days, UPS drivers out delivering, so why can't Fed x drivers drive in snow?? Fear, its got to be Fear....... read more

Came here to get passport photos. They took a picture, and told me they could not e-mail me the picture or transfer the file to me in any other way. Instead, I had to buy a DVD (or go home and get my flash drive). Overall, $27 for two small physical passport photos and a digital copy. Service was not in any way exceptional. I received a phone call from fed ex telling me that my package was available for pickup. I inadvertently left the tracking number at home. The girl at the counter did not seem interested in helping me find it. She told me that it was probably at the other fed ex location, even though I knew it was in this location. She went to the back room to check and couldn't find the box, but based on the way she was acting, I don't think she looked very hard at all. Like I said, she was not interested in helping me. She didn't even bother looking up the transaction up in the computer using my name or address (although perhaps their computer systems are limited that way.) I had to make a second trip to pick up my box. This time I even printed out the tracking history so I could prove it was delivered to that location. I am partly responsible for the second trip because I did not take the tracking number with me, but I still believe that she could have found the box if she had wanted to help me. When I went in the second time even though one of the workers there knew I was next in line (he and I made eye contact shortly after I arrived and he told me that someone would be with me in a moment), he helped another customer, who came in after me, first. One of the other employees at the counter even told him that I was there first. I am not sure why he skipped me. Perhaps she was a regular customer or a friend/relative. Or maybe he could tell her transaction would be faster than mine. But, I was in a time crunch and so I didn't appreciate being skipped. Once he finished her transaction, he did help me and did fine. He found the box and even let me use their hand truck to get it to my car. In the end I was able to get what I needed, but the customer service was lacking on both visits - and it took two trips to pick up a box. read more

I'm leaving this review here because I can't find a Yelp listing for FedEx Ground distribution center. I have no experience with this particular store but I do want consumers to know that a contracted FedEx driver can steal your package, lie about delivering it, and his/her supervisor will support them regardless of evidence of the theft and then deny the claim. Don't use FedEx! They will not investigate a theft beyond asking the driver if he did it. I'll be filing grand larceny charges against the driver. read more
