Just witnessed Peak Entitlement™ at the FedEx copy center. I'm calmly getting help from one of the clerks when this woman materializes behind me, immediately heavy-sighing like she's been stranded there for 47 business days. She'd been there all of a hot minute. ONE minute. Yet somehow the inconvenience was just radiating off her irritated face. Instead of walking up to the counter like a functioning adult, she starts talking directly to the clerk who is actively helping me. Bold strategy. I slowly turn and give her the kind of glare that, in my imagination, shoots laser beams. Sadly, only in my imagination. She doesn't get instant royal treatment, so she wobbles up to the counter, to a register that is not even open -- fully ignoring the fact that there is a line -- and demands to be helped. Ma'am. Everyone here is clearly busy. This is not a private concierge service. Eventually a clerk goes to assist her and directs her to drop her picture into one of the input trays... which just so happens to be attached to MY printer station. She barges right into my space without a single "excuse me," "sorry," or "can I just sneak by?" Nothing. Not even eye contact. Just pure bulldoze energy. I immediately comment, "YIKES," and snatch up my tax documents before she brushes against them and sends my entire financial life onto the floor. Lousy lady with no sense of personal space. Zero common courtesy. Zero situational awareness. Just aggressive impatience wrapped in entitlement. She continues acting annoyed while being actively helped. I'm watching her like... does she hear herself? Does she see herself? Because it's giving toddler-in-a-grown-huge soggy body demanding to be helped while others are waiting patiently in line My clerk, sweet angel that he is, thanks me for being patient. And I say -- loudly enough -- "Of course. You guys are busy. Patience is a virtue. I can't just walk in expecting everyone to drop everything for me." When she finally left, I told him, "God bless you all for your patience dealing with... that." They handled her with way more grace than I would have. I would have threw her sh@t out of that place and told her to get the hell out Anyway. Glad I won't have to see any more inconsiderate blobs of Santee today. The whole interaction gave me enough rage-fuel to power a small city, so now I'm off to burn it off at the gym and prevent myself from turning into an ugly impatient and inconsiderate low class person like that fat lady. Huge kudos to the young employees who continued to remain calm with this moron and continued to be respectful. That was great customer service. Look people, don't go to the store and expect service in a heartbeat. Even though it didn't "appear busy", these guys were all working and moving packages, scanning, multi tasking. Here's some advice for all you entitled Karen's and Kevins.... don't go anywhere acting like you're in a big hurry and expect everyone to hop skip and jump for you. Get out of the garbage cans and learn how to treat people in the costumer service department with respect. What I witnessed today, these guys acted opposite of what some lady complained about with this "James" employee from another review. I would absolutely not be surprised at why this person might have lashed out, with what I witnessed today with that inconsiderate nasty lady today spewing all kinds of negative energy.... That is the kind of crap that can push people from being patient and calm to frustrated and angry. So don't go there already in a bad mood. Get therapy but stop being rude to these employees. The clerk who helped me was extremely cordial, helpful and communicated with me very professionally. read more

It is extremely odd to me that when you ask for help the employee would throw their hands in the air like they don't know what they're doing. I'd expect that they are the experts in what they do and they should be able to at least professionally answer your question. read more

James is an amazing associate. Honestly he should be the manager. Anytime I come to this location James is working hard and giving the best service possible while the so called manager stands around looking uncomfortable, if he is even out front. Most of the time the manager is hiding in the back. Thank you James for all of your help and work each time I come by. read more

Cell service in this entire plaza is pretty horrendous, even staff says so. They were exceptionally helpful in suggesting I use the store wifi to send the documents I needed to print to their network. I usually don't bother printing a receipt, but the clerk even printed a receipt for me so I have documentation in case of being overcharged. A+ assistance, Thank You! read more

I asked James for help when two of the copies I paid for never came out of the copier. While trying to solve the problem, James became frustrated, impatient and short with me. I told him his aggressive energy was making me feel uncomfortable. At that point James became explosively defensive. The store manager, Jay, heard what was happening and came over to speak with me. As I calmly tried to explain what happened, James (who was now all the way at the front of the store), began to heckle me from behind the counter. Yes, you read that correctly. James was shouting at me from 20 feet away, in front of all the customers in the store and his manager (who had to shout back at him: "James...that's enough!" to get him to stop). This was not some run of the mill customer-service conflict -- it was a public loss of emotional control by an employee, witnessed by multiple customers, and management. In any functional business, that behavior would trigger immediate removal from the floor. But that did not happen. I do not know if the manager lacked the authority or the confidence to immediately remove James, but regardless I will not be returning to this Fedex Office ever again as I do not feel safe being in the store knowing James is still employed there. read more

NEVER USING FEDEX AGAIN! Same colored print and 3 different prices? Online-.68 Print and go printer (in office) .80 Associate print for you $3.50 Unbelievable! Registering asks for address and credit card- took me a bit. Usually member registration is simply full name, phone number, and email. Have a busy agenda wanted to print at home while I do errands to have it ready when pick up if up. The earliest was 3pm when I tried to do online at 10am. I rushed to the store because when I tried emailing directly they charge $3.50. I took a picture of the QR CODE, and stood there waiting for the service code email for 10 min, nothing. I reach out to the associate and explained my difficulties, instead of going around to assist he kept asking me "did you try this? That?" I said yes! I was running out of time so I told associate "I sent it to the email" He confirmed and said "yes, I have it here, did you want me to print?" I said yes, because the printer (.80) was not working. So I'm thinking he has good customer service and for my trouble he will print it the same price. He prints and says "your total is $3.50". I tried to explain my f back on the inconvenience I went through and time spent; as an associate he shouldn't argue with a customer or debate. He kept saying "did you see your sent message if it went through? Did u check and fresh" yes and yes. He then went and helped another customer in the middle of my frustrations with my FedEx experience. This isn't the first time. Just for a print. At least staples you email and when u get there, they print and you pay same price and wayyyy cheaper. FedEx don't confuse your customer. I'm pretty technology savvy and if my Dad or mom came in, they'd have a nightmare experience with the workers not providing quality customer service. Tried to call corporate and I got the general customer service line and it took 10 steps to finally get someone I can barely understand. Customer first always work backwards to customers needs. Unless you retrain your customer service/associates and have reliable service I will not be a customer for FedEx. read more

Jay was the staff member who helped me today. He was very helpful over the phone, I had called about 4 times trying to figure how I could pay for package/supplies for a terminated employee. I called at 9am, 11:30am, then 11:46am, waiting to give my acct info over the phone, he was kind to put me on hold and help trouble shoot any challenges. Great staff member read more

I needed a package overnighted (expensive, but I get it). The last 3 times I have come here, the employees were very friendly, helpful, and quick. This time in particular, Heidi (trainee) went the extra mile. She was not only incredibly helpful, but I forgot an a small item. Chargeable, I get it, but she did everything in her power to help me out and get me the best value. To FedEx, you have a rockstar on board. I always use them as my printing service. We are a small business and we just love the fast quality work that this team provides. I have worked with James a lot and he is always pleasant. I can always count on this team and I have never been disappointed. I even encountered a time where the website would not put my order through (frustrating!!) but I called and I was able to email my order through and they helped me get it in time. First of all, I may be a sensitive person but I felt offended and disrespected during my visit today. The guy up front, with glasses, said he would be with me in a moment but I just needed to print something so he gave me a card and said send it to that email. Anyway he seemed blunt and mono toned. Not very friendly. I go to the printer and I'm waiting and waiting to get a confirmation email. He blames it on my cell service and so I tell him I have full service. He basically walks away with a tone and says something else about going outside to get service. He tells me he won't print out my paper for me because it's only ONE PAGE. That's gotta be the easiest job ever. All the other FedEx offices do that for me... and they're also very nice. Here he was NOT nice and they didn't even say thank you or goodbye when I left. I don't know why the reviews are high. I'd recommend going to another location if you want a nicer experience. I just left feeling angry and sad... that's not a way to treat your customers. read more

Aside from being clean and in a pretty accessible location, it's your pretty standard fedex, in regards to capabilities. But this one has Jay. Jay is the man. He is on it, helpful and worth the drive just to work with him. He is extremely accommodating and makes sure you are taken care of. In so many places like fed ex and ups, you get the employee who hates doing anything other than scanning a package. Jay takes no hesitation to explain processes or the printers in my case. He made sure my projects came out right and I was happy with what I was paying for. If I ever need specific help with something or an explication, I will drive to this location. read more

I was in a rush to get last minute documents printed. I called the office in Santee store 2060 in advance and Edwin assured him or Paul will be available to assist me with the self print service. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello from the the staff as well as walked through steps to complete the self printing. In less than 5 minutes I was done and ready to go. I appreciate the hellos and have a nice day, but also very pleased to see the store very clean, and we'll ran like an oiled machine. I too am in customer service and I was shocked to receive such excellent service over a simple print. It's very refreshing to see people with a pleasant smile at their jobs! The print came out nice too bad the workers here didn't make any extra effort.. my print was suppose to ha e the middle cut out actually said it on the print .. but when I arrived the whole thing was printed .. so I asked hey can you cut this out? The guy was like it would have to be sent out for that .. I ordered this print via the web and I guess I should have called and sublet checked they would cut it out... but damn if these people are our future and just do t give a shit we are screwed people.. I feel like good worker would have called and asked when I sent in the prints.. cause when I showed up it was the day of my event so I had to cut it out myself for this $60 poster board I just paid for. read more

They are always open late when I need them open and it's never crowded in there so I can get the assistance I need right away. I can always rely on the copy/fax/scan/printer to always work when I need to use it and I can quickly get on the computer if I need to access my emails for some documents that I need. I also really appreciate the really nice customer service there! They people are always nice and friendly, they show good rapport to each customer. And in turn the customers treat each other great! For example, I was trying to mail something but forgot my stamps at home and the customer facing something next to me was kind enough to go to her car and grab me a stamp for free! Awesome people and I can get my work done efficiently. I don't know about the other FedEx's in town but this one is my favorite! read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. Driver was rude and left the note at the bottom of the stairs didn't-even walk up or knock. Store representatives were very unhelpful and disrespectful. If I could I would give this location negative stars, very unprofessional. read more

Best staff imaginable! Owner jay and his entire staff go beyond any call of duty to get things done correctly and quickly. Jay always has a smile and a helpful attitude. Not much to say negative about this place. I only go here to drop off boxes to ship. I don't really use any of their other services. But staff here is definitely friendly. Parking is not an issue here. They got a few 15 minute parking spots for quick drop offs. It's close to a Sprouts, Starbucks, Wings N Things, and a Jack in a Box so that's a plus. Tip: there is a roll of tape the anyone can use on their packages for free here! Only the right side door stays propped open! read more

Was at this location again today to upload some docs into a job app. Raul saved me. He was so nice and patient!!! Thank you so much. Went to this location to use computer and scanner. As I am challenged in this area, I needed plenty of help. They were fabulous!!! Different people helped always with a smile and patience. I ended up leaving the document in the scanner. I called the next morning at 7:30 and was greeted by Jay with a smile in his voice. He found my document and had it held until I was able to get there. Wonderful customer service. I had a huge problem. I needed to get my resumé into PDF format and was COMPLETELY computer illiterate. Manager Jay was extremely helpful in assisting me in copying and pasting my text from email into a Word document, editing it to fit on the pages, and emailing back to myself in PDF format. He was even able to recommend a wonderfully professional resume paper that I could print out onto and present to potential employers. I had spent ALL day trying to email it to certain friends and have them alter it and send it back without any success. I showed up at Fed Ex office and was in and out of the door in less than ten minutes! This business is essential and I wanted to let everyone know how fast and reliable they truly are. I always come here to print out homework assignments and the occasional flyer. It's really easy, fast and convenient to print things here. I just email the file in advance and when I get there I input my retrieval code and bam! It's printing. The customer service is really great. Whenever I go Rebecca just happens to be there and is always a great helps when I am printing out anything! However, I do avoid laminating things here because Office Depot can be more inexpensive. At some point I should probably invest in a printer because it does get pricey to print things out here but this is my go-to location for printing of any kind. read more

Fed ex sucks. My buddy waited for a package requiring a signature nearly all day. What did fed ex do? They came to the door to put a 'we missed you' note on it and left. No knock. No ringing the doorbell. Nothing. And what's worse is his garage was open and a car in the driveway. So they had to know he was there. They refused to re deliver it and told him to pick it up at this location, a huge inconvenience. Wow. Fed ex, you suck. read more

Attitude is everything. The lady at the counter was extremely short and curt. There were no customers in the store, but it became obvious she wanted me to take my print job (a 5 minute job) to one of the other locations. I was willing to come back in the afternoon. When I pointed out how she was put-out acting, she offered to do the work, but only with a half promise it could be down at the end of the day. So, off I went to Office Depot. They were cheerful and offered to do it while I waited, which was an unexpected bonus. read more

I literally go here for everything I possibly need. The staff has always been more then welcoming, friendly and attentive. They have all gotten to know me on a first name basis and it makes the store seem like it has a small town feel. Jay is always going the extra mile. Mariah has always gone out of her way to help out. Nothing says customer service like friendly staff who give the time in their busy day to ask how your day has gone so far. I don't live in santee and I make the drive because I know I'm in good hands. This review is long overdue! Keep up the good work guys!! read more

STAY AWAY!! everytime I have been here (three times) it's always something. One time the Internet was working so I couldn't access documents to print. Another time the printer was not working so had to wait in one line for almost 45 min. Not the best costumer service and they overcharge for shipping. It's small and not well stocked. I decided to give it three trys and we'll three times your out! Def will not be back!! read more
