I needed hard copies of a manual for work and decided it would be easiest to just pick up at FedEx. It was easy to put the order in and pay online, the quality of the printing was excellent though it was more expensive than the neighborhood print shop (but closer and better quality paper!) The order was supposed to be done by noon and if it was I didn't get a notification until 3pm that it was ready. Had I needed it urgently I would have called to check before heading over. I came by, there was no line to wait, they found my order quickly and opened the box to confirm it looked ok by me. I was in and out quickly and I appreciate the fast service. read more

It would be great if the staff acknowledged customers instead of trying everything to avoid contact, made sure the trays in the printers were closed so items would print and were helpful to resolve the issue that was a simple fix to something that should not have happened. I work in the service industry and I'm disappointed in how little these folks were there to help. I needed to print items which would be included in a package I was shipping. I called this office before I left San Francisco. I wanted to have training materials laminiated for the employees. I called and they had the self serve or having an employee do it for me. I did both and found that it was pretty easy with the machine. The person I spoke to was very friendly and professional and very helpful when I came into the shipping center. The price point was fair - for over 20 plus sheets of paper. Like I said, you could have the service done for you or you can do it yourself. If I have more items to laminate I would do it by myself! read more

I've been coming to this location for years and have the lowest of expectations every time, but the level of incompetence I just experienced was out of the ordinary. Simple print job - but it took this guy three tries and over 35 minutes with an intervention by a manager twice. Then I was informed by him AFTER the print job was done that there was a late rush fee for walk in print jobs, amounting to more than the print job itself. I was also overcharged for the wrong weight paper which I thankfully caught at the last minute. When I got home I realized after all that they left me short two copies. Well, I needed to make hard copies of a bunch of papers. I really felt like- are there even places like a kinko's still? On top of that- I have been dreading if I needed to stand there and do the job personally and that made it all the more daunting, and time flying by. It is $0.22/per sheet copy & $0.32 a sheet if they do it for you. Removing staples and restapling has a fee too but I just- needed it done and glad there was a place to get it done. In the end, I did have a small heart attack on the final price for 4 sets but- it is what it is. 1100 pages! Again, if you need this done- there is plenty of space to do it yourself and save $0.10/sheet. But if you have multiple pressing issues... it's nice that they can get it done for you. Give them 24 hours. I haven't gone through the boxes to verify if all but I did notice I was missing half of it at pick up-I am sure it's likely all there. Follow up: I had to go back as the order had a few missing pages. It wasn't so straight forward like ending a group on the last page of a grouping of papers so some times you'd find the 9th /last page elsewhere. The guy at the desk was like- let me run it again. I personally didn't have it in me to waste all this paper. Had to stay there and organize it and figure out what was missing and the guy at the desk ran it for me. Took me 2 hours+- he let me stay after closing to finish. Maybe I should have stood there and ran it myself. Just my 2 cents for the amount of copies I was running . He also credited me what the difference in them running the copies for me. read more

I went in on Monday late morning 2/26/2024. I used the self serve area to laminate 2 business cards. And then I proceeded to the counter, where a young woman with dark hair and an older balding man were shipping items for people. Not once did either employee acknowledge any of the customers in line, nor did they welcome anyone coming into the store. I kept trying to meet eyes with either of them but could not. I was hoping I could quickly check out at one of the registers on the left counter. It would have taken about 30 seconds as it finally did. And really, I couldn't tell if someone with my kind of service should be at another register area. And I couldn't get them to see me. In fact, they weren't being friendly to any of the people who were shipping items. Then from the back of the line, I could see a dark haired middle aged man walk through shelving aisles quickly answering a question the older man working the desk asked. The manager was blunt and discourteous to the employee and quickly kept walking into a room on the left . And the manager never made any attempt to wait on anyone to make the line go more quickly. Finally, the young woman took care of my purchase. She never greeted me. Both employees at the counter were robotic. When I went to pay for the laminations, I was stunned. The price was $3.28. I realize California and Sausalito are very expensive places. However we just moved from Washington DC in downtown in the heart of a high-priced area. In December before we moved on January 1, I had one card laminated and it cost .59¢! At the 94965 FedEx one card costs $1.64! What on earth is happening here?! I could understand .75¢ or even $1.00. But wow, FedEx! Just because something is cheap doesn't mean you get to jack up prices almost 3x the price of one of the top 3 places in the country for rent. When I got ready to go, I finally got a weak and mumbling, "Have a good day." It really bummed me out but I tried to quickly forget it and go about my day. NOT a pleasant experience. To top it off, there is an offer on the receipt for $7 off your next $40 printing order if you go to FedEx.com/welisten and complete a survey. I signed in and proceeded through introductory questions. When I got to the part where I had to type in the location number, I realized there was no location number on my receipt! I even went back into the site and tried the other receipt type but there was no receipt number where it indicated, as seen in these photos on their website. Then compare my receipt below. So I was left to come to Yelp and make it all public, not something I necessarily wanted to do. Maria was BEYOND helpful and patient, she took the time to help me with a project I needed to get done right away. I was able to get exactly what I needed done in a timely manner and she also educated me on how I could do this myself in the future. Came in to print a data report of 300 pages to meet a deadline I was on. The self printers only let you print a certain number of pages at a time. The computet crashed twice. The THREE staff members could not have been more unhelpful if they tried. I explained the situation and they told me they would need 24 hours to print a simple black and white document. Didn't look that busy as they returned to their conversation about their weekend plans. This location should remove the word "print" from its name if this is the level of service they provide, Thanks for nothing. read more

If there was a 0 rating, this place would get it. If you want to use their FedEx station to ship internationally, don't do it...they don't know what they are doing. In November 2022 I paid just over $1K for them to ship a care package to my sister in New Zealand. The person I worked with asked a number of questions regarding the products I was shipping and filled out a commercial invoice based on my answers. He promptly gave me an email to review them and their services, which I was happy to do. Three weeks later I got an email that the commercial invoice was improperly completed and if I didn't correct the information in three days, they would send the package back to me but keep my $1K. I then went back to this location and escalated to the manager who said he had no idea how to do this, much less correct it. So why would you have anyone on your team handle international shipping at all? He tried to tell me to contact the FedEx international shipping number and work it out. I told him that he should do it since I paid for their services. So he got FedEx international on the phone. The outcome? He gave them my email to work directly with me to fill out the invoice. Some expert. It is now the end of January 2023 and I am working directly with FedEx New Zealand to make final changes to the invoice so that the contents can be final approved through customs and my sister can get her package. I am unequivocally an expert on shipping to New Zealand using FedEx. But I paid them $1K for me to do the work. The manager is terrible and should not be allowed to even interact with customers. I will never use this location again..they stink. read more

Hi, this is a terrible business. They ask you to login and then they charge you a fee and then when you're ready to print it out, you can't print it out because they ask you to guess how much you're gonna spend. And since you as a customer, don't really know how much you're gonna spend you might guess wrong I guess what you just lose that money. They don't care either. They said I would be called. I was not so called them on Saturday. My job had not been done and no one was their to do it. If they had been honest with me I would have gone elsewhere. This is a special "shout-out" for FedEx employee Betty. Betty is calm, cool and collected when it comes to running her shift. She's great, love her positive attitude. Previously, the copy machines in the morning were either out of paper, low or no toner or the copier glass was filthy; no longer the case. FedEx Office Print & Ship Center - Printing Services Near Me - Sausalito, California

I went in there to get some plans printed. Without clarifying any details, they went ahead and started printing in what they assumed was the size and format I wanted without even giving me some ballpark cost. It's definitely my fault for not clarifying before they started printing. I for whatever reason just assumed they were going to print the same size and format of what they did a few months prior, which I believe was 14x20 (different staff). About 30 minutes into printing, it became clear they were doing a super large format print, which is not at all what I wanted. And of course it ended up being crazy crazy expensive. Had I known they were doing large format, and had they given me some sort of ballpark price, I would have quickly clarified what I was looking for. But they never did that. If I needed large format printing, I would have gone to Fast Blue Reprographics down the street - much better than Fedex for large format. In their defense, they were very busy and I don't think they were deliberately trying to hustle me, I think they were just busy and moving fast and didn't clarify anything with me. read more

I've been to Kinko's all over the country. I've been to FedEx-Kinko's all over the country. They used to be a buzz of activity. Not any more. You can feel the death angel lurking for these businesses . . . . The one in Sausalito is small and definitely understaffed. Some of these guys have been working here the entire two years I have been using this branch and all I can say is they seem to get more miserable each time I go in. I think part of their training is NOT TO SMILE. This is definitely not a fun job for them. I've noticed that happening in a lot of the FedEx-Kinkos locations lately. Understaffed, which makes miserable employees. Another problem: Now, I understand that technology has it's bumps, and especially machines that are used a lot, but it seems that these are out of commission far more than they should be. And why isn't there a techie fixing them on a regular basis? Makes good business sense, right? Can't charge customers for copies if the machines aren't working. Just a large piece of junk sitting there taking up square footage, if it doesn't work. And the computers, at least 50% are always on the "not working" list for one reason or another. And the miserable little credit card machines that are now attached to everything. When they first came out I thought it was their savior. Well, let me tell you they are not. They would be if they worked consistently. But they do not. And who wants to put 80cents worth of copies on your Debit Card? I just want to hand them 2 quarters and 3 dimes and scoot. Someone in some big office somewhere needs to re-evaluate this business (all of them) and do something QUICK or they all are going down the tube . . . not just the one in Sausalito. They are hanging on by their fingernails. My advice: IF YOU HAVE STOCK, SELL IT! read more

However, when I needed to interact with the staff on a question, the older male staff member was really unfriendly. I've been really impressed with this print shop. Twice in the past month we needed last minute printing for a conference and printing/binding for technical training (80+ page color comb bound manuals). On both occasions we gave them less than 48 hours and both times they more than wowed us. My job today was 20 manuals and they turned it around in 4 hours. Great print quality and heavy enough paper that the materials look and feel very professional. Their pricing has been great and if you give them internal feedback (Fedex feedback form) you get a discount on your next order. It was super easy. I called this afternoon to see if they could run my job by tomorrow at 5pm, to give myself a little buffer since they close at 8 on Sundays and I needed the manuals for training on Monday morning. David said he could definitely take care of me and boy did he. Jose was friendly and helpful when we picked them up. I couldn't be happier with the quality or their level of service. read more

I normally come here for all my computer printing needs (see my previous review). But they also designs/prints posters and signs! This came in handy recently when I needed to create signage for an upcoming Yelp event. I submitted my logo, dimensions, and just told the friendly staff what I was shooting for. 24 hours later, I had 4 terrific, professional-looking signs waiting for me. Cost: $150. My one star review is bc there was only one person working causing the line to be long and in turned caused crowding inside the building with a long wait time. I am here often - for clients - Both using the copy machines and shipping various items. One problem: very understaffed. I have watched staff come and go. One fabulous day, when I had a ton of coping to be done - a young man helped me with myriad challenges - he was a genius - efficient and kind. I was thrilled to return a week later - anxious to connect with him - and bam! He was gone. I needed passport photos for my toddler, and I called FedEx to check if they could do them. They were up front with me that they typically don't do kids photos, and can't guarantee the quality for a squirmy child, but that I could come in and give it a try if I wanted to. Everyone was very kind, patient, and it turned out to be a success! I'm not recommending that people bring kids here for passport photos, as it's not their typical service, but I am grateful to the staff that they were up front in their communication, and patient to attempt the service (and thankful that my child was easily plied with cookies). read more

What happened to this place? I used to work with Ivey and a few other employees at this location, and things went smooth, fast, and correctly. I've been there 5 times in the last 2 months and it's total chaos. Customers are yelling at employees because things are not what they ordered. Employees seem grossly under trained.....and I can't figure out who's in charge. I feel bad for the people who currently work there right now, seems like an upper management issue where somebody in some other part of the state is clueless to how bad this place has fallen apart. I took two printing jobs to Fedex office in Sausalito last week. One print job required an envelope to be reprinted. the person that i spoke to said that he would get me a quote and call me back. I have now waited for over 1 week for a call back. Today i had enough and made a call to find the status of my order. The person that i spoke to said the "production" person would not be in until 1pm and that i should call back then. When i asked if i could leave a message, she said that she would probably forget to tell him and that she was the only person in the store and that she was extremely busy and responsible for packages going out. This is no way to run a business! Shame on Fedex for allowing the store to be so short staffed with terrible customer service. I will be looking for another place to have my printing done. read more

I called to inquire--since we'd spent a hundred dollars there--if possible to leave some printouts (one box, less than 300 pages) for another person to pick up later that same day. Make sure you have plenty of time to stand around and wait for someone to notice they actually have a customer even when you are the only one waiting. At 8:00 pm this evening there were two employees on staff and no service whatsoever. After finally getting someone's attention I requested a copy of about 30 pages I was told in could not be done because the pages were not flat; ok, so I decided to copy myself. There was no explaination of how to work the copier or debit/credit card or which way the pages were copied. After first working with one machine it was out of paper. Back to the service desk to tell them and nobody looked up or bothered to offer help. The staff was oblivious to anyone's needs. The second machine did automatically feed all pages. A man had to interrupt everyone to get someone to the service desk to pay for an item. Long story shorter I was shocked at how poor the service was and the unfriendliness of Kinko's employees.
