I got tracking updates for my package saying it got delivered to this specific location which is why I called here to check on my delivery. The guy that received my call couldn't locate my package and said "they never tell you the location where the package is at" with a very condescending tone. Why would I waste my time calling random fedex locations. I was asking him how do I get more information about my package, to which he kept saying "I don't know". I was in the middle of speaking when he said "If you keep talking over me, I will not be able to help you" and cut the call. I was talking and he spoke over me so that caught me by surprise. This FedEx Office is by far, one of the best. If you need something done, and they are open, I say, go here, they are competent and knowledgeable. I must be here at least once a month now, shipping stuff to the office and to other reaches of the country. I have to agree that some locations have workers, who don't care; and of course that applies to many retail establishments, but this one doesn't have those kids, but adults that actually know what they are talking about, and they are genuinely friendly. The manager there is cool, a guy you would actually hang out with, outside of the joint, and professional too. If you are a regular like me, they get to know you, and have a vested interest in making sure you are taken care of. It's never that busy here, so you are bound to get some personalized attention when you are there. They always greet you, and are there to make sure you get exactly what you need. This location isn't big, just a couple copiers, nothing like the University Village location, but hey, it's a local branch, and it definitely has that local appeal. read more

Like ok small and quaint. Next to the Dominoes I like so am never going back to. The people that work here are super nice especially the pregnant lady and guy with glasses. It's like the smallest Fed Ex office ever. Limited computers and copies because of the limited space. It's actually never super busy. Since it's totally small of course it's only street parking but like just go to the Safeway across the street and walk over. read more

I never leave negative reviews, especially in 2020....I know this year is hard. I tried very hard to be cheerful and engage the staff here. I found them not only unhelpful but even rude. They kept telling me I should have gone to the post office, when I purposefully came here for various reasons, part being told I would get faster service. I shipped over $200 worth of stuff and they didn't offer me a receipt or tracking number, acted like I was an inconvenience and when I called in and came back to get a receipt they were again curt. I brought two music books to this FedEx, because they have a coil binding service. Coil binding is great for music books, because it allows you to flip to the page you want more easily. I've used this service several times in the past at different print and copy centers (not FedEx). The books I brought in were too tall for the coils that FedEx had available. Instead of calling me to see if I still wanted my books bound, they cut off the spines of my books and coiled them anyway. It took at least an hour and a half, but I think it was closer to 2 hours. In the past, this service took 10-15 minutes at other retailers. Also, they didn't seem busy when I dropped my books off. I posted pictures of their actual work so you can see for yourself. I put a dime on the book they bound. The book next to it is a book I had bound in the past at another copy and print center. That shows you what it should look like versus what they did. I informed the staff that I was unhappy with the result. They refunded my money, but not without letting me know that they don't agree with my point of view. If you have smaller books and you don't mind waiting 1-2 hours for binding, it would be an okay place to go for coil binding. I'm sad about the state of my books. I'll have to be more careful with them so they don't get messed up. The original retail value of both books was $62 not including tax. :( read more

I'm giving you 2 stars because your store was clean. And convenient. I popped in your store an hour ago. Heaven forbid I had a package wrapped in usps stuff. I needed it sent out. Short gal with black short hair told me damn near every policy under the sun in order for her to NOT ship it off. She literally told me to take it to usps. Cool. The other item was a small paperback book going to North Dakota as a secret Santa item. Again, she rattled off every policy imaginable, then told me she could not ship my package as is because of my pretty but PAPER BAG wrapping. How useful of you. $10 to ship! Forget it! Well, because you advertise usps so well...I suppose I ought to take both of my items and go through them. I couldn't believe how many times in a course of 2 minutes I heard the word "no". Eat a shoe. UPDATE: 1 day later...and a trip to USPS...$2.10 to deliver the small book to ND! I'm so glad I listened to my instincts and didn't leave this package for me to be gauged! I hate FedEx with all of my inmost being. I had sold a $550 lens on eBay, I was optimistic to use FedEx because they were open later in the day than USPS, it felt more convenient for getting an order out quicker. That was my mistake, it cost me about $30 to ship. When it arrived it had been damaged, it's very obvious they had dropped the package very hard, the glass had be dislodged from the lens body. Now I'm out $580. FedEx refuses any damage claims. I'll never use FedEx again, neither should you. read more

After reading other reviews, I was a little worried, I loved my old Queen Anne location. But, as it is when you move, you must move on. I was very pleased. The Man who helped me (Manager) was very nice. He even met me at the door when I was juggling two big boxes to help me. Their pricing strategy is not designed to reflect the value of what you're getting, but rather how much they can squeeze out of you. Example 1: Their copy machines are set as a default to print in color, the more expensive option. So if you're printing a black and white document but you don't take the time to manually switch it to black and white, you'll pay over 3x as much per sheet as you should be paying. Example 2: Printing black and white from the copier is $0.14 per sheet. Printing the same document from their rental computer costs $0.49 per sheet. Why the different price?? read more

I have been to this location many times needing help with all sorts of things and have always been given excellent customer service. All employees are courteous, helpful and willing to answer all of my silly questions. I think it's important to recognize their ability to handle a large influx of customers. Sometimes the store is empty, sometimes there are 10 people waiting, it happens! But they always demonstrate professionalism. I recommend using this location! read more

So easy! I popped in here needing things to be printed, other things to be shipped, some items had to be copied, etc. And with all of the small tasks, the guy at the counter made everything so easy for me. We went from station to station completing each little task in order and then I walked out with a number of to-do items checked off my list. And for a great rate! I'm not usually in Ballard but if I have errands to run in this area, I'd be happy to stop back in for some help. They have a great selection of office supplies as well. read more

I have used this location three or four times out of necessity, and just realized that they're actually pretty good, every time I have been in there they have not been very busy, given me all the time I needed, helped me pick the best option, and everything I have shipped out of here has gotten where it was going on-time and without damage to the packages. They are very quick, which can be confused for brisqueness, but I let them help me while asking what different options there were and what things meant, and I realized they were just quick, they still answered all my questions and gave me as much time as I needed to make decisions (such as when I had to call someone to figure out which level of shipping I needed). Will definitely ship from here again. read more

These folks really went the extra mile for me. I sent them a batch of complex orders, and they got them all done both sooner than I expected and with a lot of little touches that made handling the end product much easier. For example, they inserted two different thicknesses of divider paper in a collated job to separate first different documents and then individual copies of the same document. And then when I forgot various items in the store, they ran out to the parking lot to catch me with them. It felt great to have the sense that smart people were working with me on my documents. read more

Out of all of the fed ex locations i have used i keep coming back to this one. Why? Service and quality. I have been here numerous times and had a positive experience each time. I attribute it to Steve. The guy is polite, fast and always makes sure my prints are top quality. Assumptions quadrupled my shipping cost! I went into this FedEx office to mail a 2 pound gift ground from Seattle to San Diego. According to their website, this would cost around $13 after taxes. When the guy behind the counter rang me up, the total came to $40. When I asked him why it was so much more expensive, he did not have a response other than this is what it costs to ship to California. I told him that this did not make any sense, and he still had no response. I called the FedEx office to file a complaint, and their complaint management told me that the guy assumed I wanted him to package my gift for me(which is not what I wanted AND they charge $20 for this service!) and assumed it was fragile, which it was not AND is an added cost. When I asked why these assumptions were made, he told me that they train their employees to make those kinds of assumptions! I cannot support a shipping company that will blatantly try to rip off their customers like that. Frustrating! read more
