In short What's not to like? Spacious, clean, friendly, and doing all the things every sull-service franchise of this chain does. In long I needed to return a PC today; my agency provides a QR code from the big tech client that clears you for all packing and shipping costs. I was gonna be in this area anyway, so I checked out a new-to-me UPS store. This is older construction, especially judging by the parking lot size. All the entrances, exits, lanes, and spots are narrow by the standards of today's suburban (e.g., SUV-saturated) living. No big deal until you get down by the corner where the UPS store is. I pulled up, no spots, somebody left their car--empty, hazards going--in the lane. Circle the row once, somebody ELSE did the same thing, so now like 10 cars are blocked in, and traffic is piling up trying to get around. Circle the row again, finally, both of the 10-minute-parking spots have opened up. And it's like Tetris watching all the Edmondsians trying to back up, get around, let others through, and stay off their horns. Everybody added at least 30 seconds to the problem. And I figured it would be slower since it was mid-afternoon! lol Anyway, inside, there's one person filling out an address form and 4 employees in varying degrees of bustle to and fro. Dude weighs and measures my laptop, scans my QR code off my phone, and another employee almost jumps around him: "he brought his QR code? We NEVER get the QR code!" This probably explains why 4 different people at my goofy agency reminded me to get my QR code when my contract was expiring. Anyway, UPS is nice 'cause they pack and ship everything for you, and I *really* appreciated that since I didn't have to do anything other than hold up my phone--free to me. I've had a PO Box here since 2019 and the thing that I love about this location is the friendly and eager to help staff. Every one who works here greets you with a "hello" and promptly helps with whatever you need. I get a lot of boxes and they are always quick to jump and grab them when they see me walk in the door. One time I let them know I was waiting on an important DHL package and they called me the moment it arrived ...without me having to ask them to do that! That's good customer service. Another time I walked in with 15 packages all going to different customers in different countries and they took the time to help me work out the individual postage, customs declarations and make sure everything was correct. I also appreciate how it's right next to a Safeway, so it's easy to grab my mail and something for dinner. read more

The guy at the UPS store in Edmonds, Washington, sarcastically shamed me in front of like 5 people because it took me 47 hours to pick up my job. (It was 17 pages, didn't take up much storage space.) He wasn't even the guy helping me. He was at the register over and couldn't just stop at one rude comment. I guess I wasn't mortified enough by the first one that he had to comment a second time. I should have said that I don't deserve to be treated like that, but I didn't know how to react. I only check my email once a day, and I missed a day because I was hanging out with my mom, who just found out she will have her hand amputated because of cancer. I already felt bad, and being unnecessarily shamed didn't help. He could have said the same thing without being mean. I will never go there again. I feel bad for the nice guy who helped me and has to work with him every day. read more

This is a great UPS store. They seem really focused on customer service and doing everything they can to help their customers at every turn. They were very polite, and quick to accommodate our needs. I expect if they do this with everyone they will see a lot of business in the future. read more

Horrible experience. I went in for notary service and one of the employees told me that I have to come back in half an hour because the notary was on lunch. I came back half an hour later and I was told by, the person who I assume is the notary, notary services would not be available for another hour because he was busy. There was only one other customer in the store. He was extremely rude about it it wasn't even apologetic. Never again. It would have taken him less than 10 minutes to notarize my one document. read more

Since 2020, I've moved to different cities and states multiple times. However, for seven years before that, I lived near a particular UPS store right by Safeway on 99 in Edmonds. This store never disappointed me. Every visit was a pleasure, with consistently courteous staff whom I looked forward to seeing. My updated review is solely on this location's customer service. So my urgent letter/package sent on 11/7/2019 was finally delivered on 11/19/2019. This was after I paid for the most expedited service. The problem actually occurred at the courier level as they repeatedly sorted my letter to go to a wrong state. It traveled along the west-coast including Alaska when it should've just gone straight to South Korea. I spoke with several UPS customer service people and their answers were, it is what it is. Never returned my call on several occasions and when I did get someone on the phone they were very irritated by the fact that I was concerned of the well-being of my letter floating freely in Alaska for over a week. Now that we're all caught up, let me tell you the positive experience from this, sort of... Mark the manager was very happy to provide me with the full refund. I didn't realize that he'd shared my pain with UPS couriers being a complete failure as he was keeping a tab on why my letter was not delivered within 3 days as promised. He apologized many times over when it's really not his fault but the couriers on other states. Overall, I don't think I'll use UPS ever again. I'll probably continue to receive shipments from UPS but it's a hard pass as a sender. Mark however, was very nice. If you're to use UPS, or I JUST HAD to use UPS, I'd go with Mark's store for his accountability and outstanding customer service. read more

The UPS Store #1476 in Edmonds, WA, is a great place. I started using them several years ago when someone began stealing packages in our secure apartment lobby. It has been so convenient, not to mention safe, to have all my packages delivered there. Nothing is ever missing and everything is handled with care. Mark, the manager, has been just wonderful! He often helps me move packages to my car and is very friendly while still being professional. All the staff are just as friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more

Shipped Christmas presents to my family in CA. Almost $75 for one box. The manager would not give the AAA discount (or the AARP discount) as he said that they have a "new system" that will not allow discounts. He said that there was nothing that he could do. It was take it or leave it. I would have walked out except I was shipping it to my sons business box at the Palm Desert Store. I tried to call UPS Customer Service 800 # to complain. What a joke. Try it, I dare you! In person or virtual assistant they just shuffle you off to a dead end of no results. This is my last UPS shipment. Fed Ex, you Just got a new customer. read more

I made a yelp account just to write this review and have never bothered to make a bad review of anything ever in past. The place is super close to where I live its a damn shame the owner doesnt really carr about quality service. Every time I go to print something i get a different price than the last time I went in. Almost like he is just deciding on a whim how much he wants to make that day. The last and final time I will go here I arrived 5 mins before they closed. The girl at the register was ready to take of me until owner shows up and says the computers are down. I rush home through traffic after a long day at work to get these packages sent and he cant stay open until closing even though he is the only UPS in all of Seattle that closes at 6 instead of 630 or 7. Bad customer service. Mark never looks happy when a customer comes in. He has always seemed too busy to be helpful and wouldn't even get up from his chair to talk to me. He was annoyed when I asked why my shipping label was crossed by his branch and he said I had to get a new label. read more

This is the ONLY Ups store that I use for my personal use and for my business ! They always provide me with Excellent customer service. The people that wrote bad reviews must have been having a a terrible day :(. Mark and his employees have always been super professional. I don't understand why people think the can show up at 5 minutes to 1 minute before closing and complain about it. If YOU are running late, maybe you should call and advise the owner. read more

I had to get a paper signed in the presence of a notary- or notarized. I'm not sure if they always have a notary on staff. So, I'd call ahead. But, it costs $10 for the first notarization and $7 dollars for a second. I'm not sure if it's $7 for each additional or if it continues to go down- but that's the prices I know. I'm unsure what is standard, but I needed it done. The staff were kind and upfront about costs with me. I was in and out in just a few minutes- very fast service. Impressed overall. read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORE for Amazon returns. I stupidly took some of my returns there and 4, FOUR, have gotten "lost in transit"!!!! You do not get your refund if Amazon doesn't get their product back. The employees here offered no help and claimed they were NOT UPS. Then they should NOT have the title UPS Store!!! I am really angry and frustrated at the lack of customer service. I should have known there would be a problem when they take the item to be returned and throw it is a big basket with no markings of any kind, no box, nothing to remind them of where the product is to be returned to. I manage a Dental office and sent my employee there to drop off a package to go out overnight air, it had to be dropped off by 5 PM to go out the same night. when my employee got there around 4:59 they told him that ups had already left. I called their number and asked her why was he already gone, online it says the pickup is 5pm. She said yea he left a little early today. I asked to speak with a manager and all he said was that it's not their fault, they can't control ups. I told him as a manager of that location, they need to stand by their pickup time that shows online. UPS can't just leave early, they should have taken the initiative to tell the UPS driver to hold on because it's not 5pm yet. All the manager said was it's not their fault. Very helpful and friendly staff. Everytime I come in, they acknowledge me. Anytime I have questions or need to ship something, they're knowledgeable and the wait time is reasonable even during the holidays. I highly recommend this place. We have always gone to this store even though there's a closer one near us-its just more convenient with the variety of retail that the strip mall where they are at, and they always are very very helpful and courteous. They do it all and with sincere concern and care for the customer. One thing I have particularly noticed is the kind way the manager-(I don't know his name, he's the only Asian male I have seen there) trains new employees. I have used various UPS stores to send packages to my college-aged sons and return internet purchases using prepaid labels. I am usually left frustrated by a long wait and a clerk that seems to be best at taking up space. But not at this UPS! Both my friend and I were absolutely amazed by Jennifer.
