I've always had particularly good luck when asking FedEx to pack extremely fragile servers and network equipment. This was no exception and even on a weekday the place was extremely busy (1pm) due to its close proximity to a mall. There were at least 5 people ahead of me and all counters were opened. They have a hand cart in case you need to wheel some heavy items over. I had several pieces of equipment to ship and each one was nicely packaged for a 3 day FedEx Express Saver delivery. Usually when doing self-packing in the old days, I would have stuff come back with missing rack ears or slightly dinged up edges. In this case I paid for the extra filler, double wall boxes and everything arrived in good condition. Props to them for packing things so well and making sure it didn't exceed any weight limits. It's always tough finding specialty boxes that fit server equipment. Nobody asked for my ID (though many years ago I did get asked but that was for a retail purchase and not with an account #). I gave them our corporate FedEx account number and all they did was confirm my name. Not sure what happened with others but the manager on duty was the one that helped me. She knew exactly which items to ring up for the specialty boxes. Chalk it up to good luck perhaps because the items arrived a day early, exceeding expectations hence my 5 star rating for FedEx. read more

It never arrived at its destination. Sat in a FedEx facility in Memphis for weeks. I visited the store 4 times and called FedEx customer service repeatedly. The kicker was that the package was almost shipped back to Memphis because they couldn't distinguish my first name from my last name. They scanned my drivers license! How tricky can that be? This place is great! I had a huge box to return a toaster oven and Andrew came out to help me carry it from the curb. The extra accommodation was so kind and helpful!! Due to COVID-19 I would call just to double check hours. They have a clean store and are wearing masks and taking the extra COVID-19 precautions so you don't have to worry. read more

This is the worst and most racist Fedex office I have ever visited. I have been meaning to write this review for a while but every time I recall my experiences with them, I get angry and my stomach turns. My first experience was when I shipped a factory packaged monitor. The agent suggested that I purchase another box for additional protection, I told him that I have shipped numerous factory packaged monitors without having to purchase another box to package it. He insisted that I purchase a box from them and I declined. He seemed angry I didn't do so. When the monitor was delivered, the recipient contacted me and said there was a crack on the monitor screen which really baffled me. I believe, the agent banged up the monitor and damaged it to prove something to me. I know FedEx shippers are usually careful handling fragile items and I believed the culprit was the a-hole agent. But I had no proof. My second experience was when I went there to ship leased network switches, the FedEx agent asked for my ID in order to ship the item which never happens. When he asked me for an ID, he looked at me for reaction as to why he needed my ID, but I complied and showed my ID. As he was processing the items, a Caucasian man walked in with similar network items to ship, I watched his items shipped without being asked for an ID. This wasnot right. Next time I will go there to ship something, I will surely make a scene to expose the way they deal with minorities. read more

I came to this FedEx store to get some last minute prints and needed a little bit of extra help with a few documents. JC was extremely helpful and kind. She is extremely knowledgeable with her systems and did a phenomenal job! Even though she was working on something else when I came in, she attended to my print job right away. She is a great employee and really does a great job representing FedEx. I will certainly be back to this store for my future print and shipping needs. read more

Don't ever use this store! I gave them a try although I usually use UPS store for all my shipping needs (which btw are hundreds of dollars a month as I work from home office) The two guys inside the store were unfriendly, arrogant - just jerks.., And when I asked the junior guy to staple my fax for me, he looked at me like OMG you have just insulted my family, and basically pointed to a stapler that was on the counter and said "it's right here"... Lord have mercy- if this is a franchise, for shame and good luck because you guys are TERRIBLE - the goal is to make the customer feel appreciated and happy - sorry if I belittled you by asking you to do your damn job! read more

It's gets the job done for shipping although nothing crazy to write about. Fees vary depending on shipment. Plus they have separate lines for shipping and for picking up. It's confusing and silly if there's only one employee working. They gotta run back and forth and back and forth which happened on my last visit. Customer service is severely lacking. What happened to the reputable company and service that was FedEx? We had a package that was supposed to be held here for 5 business days and was shipped back to the originator on day 5 without a call or anything. The website wasn't much better as it seemed to indicate that the destination was our home address. Came here a couple of days later for print service and the same person who didn't help us before didn't greet us or say "you're welcome" when we said thanks. Not sure what is up with this establishment, but they seem to be very persistent at trying to upsell you on anything and everything, even when it is clear that you're not interested or have no need for the additional options. In the end, they went ahead and sneakily added the surcharge without our consent. We realized it after we left the store, but opted not to pursue a refund if it required another interaction with them -- more trouble than it's worth really. Judging by some of the other reviews I'm reading below, it seems that this branch has a longstanding habit of belitting their customers (which we also experienced firsthand). The default state was combative from the get-go, and their bargaining tactics made us feel like we were at some Bazaar market in a third world country. Typical FedEx visits for us means boxes to drop off and no deeper interaction required. The Dulles Retail Plaza has a Wegmans in it. It has a Home Depot in it. It even has a Target in it. The parking lot is enormous with plenty of room to park with hazards on so you can grab their hand cart to quickly drop off your packages. As far as I'm concerned, a safe environment, parking and the ability to empty your car quickly are the perfect formula for 4 stars if you're a FedEx office. Our go to choice for IAD and DCA projects! Wish I had read Tom H.'s review and some of the others before wasting my time. The greeting was disdainful and when I said I wanted to ship 2 very sturdy, triple taped shoeboxes she said they wouldn't because the top might rip off. When I tried to leave she asked someone else and he said no, they would have to rebox. Clearly an upsell. I left and went to the post office which had no trouble shipping them priority. I "interacted" with 3 different employees while in there the other day. Not even 1 of them was pleasant. There was no greeting, no eye contact and no friendly conversation. The only words that came out of the employee's mouth was to tell us to fix our mask. When I replied back with an apology, he did not acknowledge me or even make eye contact. Then there was the lady that was working there that seemed upset that I was in her way. I think they hate their jobs. It's almost holiday time so I wish them the best of luck. I don't know what everyone's complaining about. For a place in a strip mall crammed between a liquor store and a bunch if cell phone stores, this place was alright. I was expecting something terrible on account of everyone else's reviews, but the guys in there were just fine. No, I wasn't greeted when I entered, and I didn't make any new best friends, but come on. Came here to print out some PDF files for a birthday party with my husband. We thought we knew how to work the printer but obviously not. We asked the manager for help and he got frustrated with us at first saying that all the ink is probably splattered everywhere in the machine. Towards the end, he tried to figure everything out because we were printing on water resistant water bottle labels and it came out good. Then he even reimburse us for what we paid for already since we messed up several sheets and printed out everything else I needed to print. read more

I'm in this area for work all the time and occasionally I need to ship something or have something printed. This location has the most skilled, professional and nicest staff I have had the pleasure of doing business with. From the location manager to the young man and young lady that I dealt with today, July 13, great workers. This should be a training store for other locations. They really do their best to get every person in and out in a timely manor. I highly recommend them based on their customer service alone. I was hesitant to give them a shot based on the reviews listed. However, the manager of the store packaged and rang up my shipment in a pretty fast time frame. Given that he had just packaged up an Akrapovic BMW M5 exhaust for the person in front of me in line, I figured that if they did a solid job wrapping up a few thousand dollars worth of titanium, my shipment would be done well, and it was. There were only two employees in the store with 14 customers in line, yet I was out in 30 minutes, which I call exceptional given the great work the manager did with packaging the shipments. It helped that their quote was $100 cheaper than UPS. Context: I arrived at 2PM on a Saturday. My expectation when trying to get anything packaged and shipped is that the experience will take at least half an hour; they were on par, and professional. They bested both of the UPS stores around here in the aforementioned areas, so I'll probably be back. At the very least, if you get annoyed by waiting in line, there's a liquor store right next door. read more

I had 17 page printed out plane paper which i get charged for it, she told me she can't reimburse it, but the sticker on her name budge said she had been employed since 2009, and she told me to wait for manager which after i waited long she said her manager is busy interviewing, her co worker wanted to help me but she told him no, and she was treating him bad and bossing him around, may be he is new, i left my number for the manager to call me, i didn't get any call, i wouldn't recommend any one to go there read more

No one else was there and the chick working pretended I didn't exist. You can't get any worse than that when it comes to customer service. Yikes! The WORST customer service EVER! Went there last Sunday between noon and 2pm. I called ahead to see if you can print color documents at this location and the person on the phone just said "uhuh". Nice. So went there, asked the same person where I could print, no smile, no "hello", no "let me help you". Pointed to the back of the store and said someone is using the only computer. Okay, that's fine. Couldn't tell me I could use the printers by inserting a USB drive. There was someone else there trying to print, looking just as lost as I was. I noticed what he was doing and did the same with the printer. I had some trouble printing (it took a looong time for the printer to process) and when I went to the customer service person to ask for help, I got the ultimate "F U" look from him. He walks over to the printer like it's the most difficult thing in the world to help someone and pushes a button and rudely tells me you need to wait. Seriously, this was the worst customer service experience I've ever had! Never, ever going to this place again, I rather drive further out to a different location. read more

Excellent customer service from Aycha (I hope I spelled her name right). Total opposite from my experience with the Fort Evans Leesburg location. The leesburg location won't print my Wayfair labels without me having to pay for them and won't help me with their print machine. While Aycha, just asked me to forward the labels to an email address. And she even helped put them on the boxes! It would have been nice if other locations can mimic the same service as this location. read more

This review is not based on a specific location but rather on FedEx Ground service from anywhere. It sucks. I find then so bad that I have instructed ALL my vendors that I will not accept packages from FedEx Ground ever again. On multiple occasions they have provided less than acceptable delivery service. UPS is an order of magnitude better than these guys. Most recently, it took them just over an hour to ship from the departing location to the hub in Alexandria, VA--not bad at all. But it's been sitting on the truck for 8 hours since then with no indication that it will be delivered today as promised. So I sit and wait, losing an entire day of work. Not the first time they have done this. But it will be the last. Avoid these inefficient chumps and demand that your vendor use UPS or USPS. That's my plan going forward. read more

This place is nuts mainly due to the attitude of the employees. The bald guy that works there expects customers to know the rules of the store when there are no signs to indicate that. Only those who frequently go there probably know the unknown rules. Besides why would you have the main line the middle of the store and not near the counter that is closest to the door?? Not knowing this and also as there were no other customers that were not being served, I stood near the counter nearest to the door and when he was about to serve a guy (probably a regular) in the other line who came after me I said I was there first that really ticked him off and he started shaking his head for telling him that and went on to making snarky comments to his coworkers - "is it 9 o clock yet?" I didn't want to get into an argument with an idiot so I quietly picked up my package and left the store. People like him need to work in a non customer facing job or stay home. Fedex needs to employ people with right attitude if they want people to do business with them. read more
