Every time I come into this Fed Ex I get the most incredible above and beyond service. When you think about what they are accomplishing every single day it's really pretty incredible and to be knee-deep in customers and always providing excellent service with a smile is outstanding. I do a lot of FedEx shipping for work and visit FedEx locations all over Northern California and they're all fantastic but this location is so above and beyond stellar service I'm super grateful that this is the primary location that I get to come to. Horrible customer service, understaffed, slow, and incompetent workers. This FedEx location is a total disaster and I guarantee 30+ minute waits and scowling employees to accommodate simple requests like picking up a package. The lady at the counter (LUCY) refused to schedule a re-delivery for me of a 100+ lb $1000 computer monitor; she told me to call an Uber to transport it. I called 1800-GO-FEDEX and was able to schedule re-delivery almost immediately and received a huge apology from FedEx regarding my interaction with her. Avoid if possible and seek out other locations that are better staffed and better quality. read more

I have had several boxes shipped to me and asked that they be held at this FedEx location. Each time, it's been really easy. FedEx Ground shipping is really affordable, and you get a discount if you create an account (free to do), and the shipping time is really fast (a couple days w/in CA). I get a phone call when my packages arrive. I drive over and pick up my packages. The hours are convenient because they have Saturday hours. I can pull up right outside and load my stuff into my car. Staff is always nice. Never had a problem so far! read more

Beware of Carrie! I frequent this location frequently, as I do online sales. I always avoid Carrie like the plague, but she was the only employee working, so I had no option. She is extremely rude, and completely lacks any customer service at all. I am trying to pick up my package, addressed to me, with my ID. Carrie stated that I need another kind of bill with my name and address in addition. We go back-and-forth for about five minutes, with me telling her that she knows me! I am there on a weekly basis, and am on a first name basis with one of the managers, who is very nice. I finally show her my business website with my picture and address. She reluctantly gives me my package. If you really hate your job that much, get a new one! I'm shipping and receiving items to and from high profile celebrity clients, and they do not have patience for these kind of hiccups. Again, this is not an isolated incident, but this one just set me over the top! I don't know how she's still there after reading other horribly negative reviews on her. On another note, It does take a much longer than needed process to send out a package at this location, so I think that some training could definitely be beneficial. The only one that is fast at his job at this location is the male manager. My one star review is simply because of my interactions with Carrie. I would give the location a 2-3 star review if I did not have to deal with her. read more

Processing a pre-paid return from a major retailer ... should be easy, right? At UPS, you'd just drop off the package and the prepaid label and the friendly clerks finish it for you. That's been my general experience. Not here. You get an empty store with two employees at the teller, one of whom tells you to wait "Someone will be with you shortly" (they are busy helping out zero customers currently in the store?), then acts like you are not really desired there the whole time. I shouldn't be entitled and thus be upset that they made me package & tape up the boxes myself, except the competitor doesn't, and the not so friendly attitude throughout. read more

Worst customer service I have ever ever received from FedEx. This lady is extremely rude and full of attitude. I don't know if she's having a bad day at 12:55 pm in hr afternoon or she is just a mean person Herself. I don't care, but this is unacceptable. She asked for my ID and she asked me what's the name on the package. I gave her my name and my ID, she asked for the tracking number, I showed her the tracking number on my phone, she told me to read it to get. My phone was right in front of her. Wtf! I said it's in front of you, she stair at me for 30 seconds and took my ID and turned around and said "I'm not going to have it." She went to find my package, took her 15 minutes to grab it. Come back and ask for my proof of address, gave her my check and she slapped my ID on the scale. Manager came out, no apologize, and told me I did not have to go on and on with my complain and he walked away. I'm sorry, I'm a customer, this is the kind of attitude I should be getting from a nationwide packaging company. This is the absolute worst service I have even got from a company. I never do not complain and I understand people have their good days and bad days. But this time, I'm piss off. If you're in SOMA and you work in an office... this FedEx location is a lifesaver. Their West Coast pick-up is 8.00pm. I repeat, 8:00pm. Seriously, this is a world of difference from our closest pick up at 5:15. And aside from driving my rear-end all the way down to flag down a plane at SFO... I *heart* the Harrison location. This is one of the better Fed-ex stores I have been to. The staff members have been helpful and in a good mood the few times I have been in, which is a big plus when you are in a hurry. They handled my shipments quickly without much complaints. It was nice to see all the other options they have for copying and such should I ever need it. read more

I wish FedEx as a corporation ran like this place. They could use a lesson or two from this particular store. With the way things go at my workplace, it's inevitable that I would have to drop a few packages off myself. Of course it would be nice if I could count on the the FedEx pick up service my office PAYS for but dependability is expendable in this economy, no? Every time I have called this location or came in to drop something off, the staff is extremely efficient, courteous and helpful. I love it! You never get customer service like this anymore, especially at places that ship anything anywhere (I'm talking about UPS but mostly USPS). One time when I called, Becky, one of the women I recognize from my semi-frequent visits, actually suggested I try to get to the store 15-20 minutes before the last pick up because it was raining outside and traffic tends to be more chaotic under adverse weather conditions. What a doll. I think I called her twice that day. She didn't sound annoyed at all. The people who work here are incredibly helpful, friendly, and efficient. I've been here twice in the past month, and both times I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and painless the experience was (not always the case at places like this). The first time was to ship a bike to San Diego. There was almost no wait, it was very affordable, and the bike arrived in just a couple days in perfect condition. The second was to have some things printed. I called to make sure they do indeed have printing services, and the very helpful employee gave me the email address to which I could send the documents I needed to print. When I arrived, I expected the worst: that it would take forever, that they would be searching through the inbox for my email, or even worse, that they'd say they didn't get my email. But no! My documents were already printed up and waiting for me when I arrived! Two black and white copies, and they only cost me 26 cents. This is actually cheaper than going to most other FedEx locations where they have computers and you print things yourself: you first need to pay to use their computer *and* pay the printing fee on top of it. read more

Came here to print some resumes. On the looks of it, the store front was a bit drab, until I realized that it's primarily a shipping location (as the name implies, but I've never been to one before), and began wondering whether I might need to look for another shop, find another parking, etc. But the nice lady behind the counter had a solution for me right away. She said, if I could email her the files, she'd be able to print them for me, and I was even able to select the nice paper. So, even though I did not use their shipping services, the customer service was excellent and they probably handle all of their jobs with relevancy and compassion I was privileged to. Bad experience earlier tonight at 5:45pm picking up a package at this location. There was an agent at the counter whose customer service skills were so thoroughly lacking that I was astounded. Be ready for a dose of order-barking punishing attitude from this gal. I often feel at the mercy of the shipping company when receiving a shipment - you didn't choose them (the merchant did) and they often treat you with a "take it or leave it" attitude. I often buy parts for my business from a supplier in LA. For some reason this time they shipped the parts via FedEx rather than USPS which had been the norm. We just got a USPS shipment from them last week with no problems. Due to our old building being sold and faced with a $17K a month rent increase we moved a couple of blocks away to a new location. I was advised via tracking our parts shipment would be delivered yesterday. I went down to the store to retrieve the shipment and our on duty guy who was there all day said nothing arrived and he had not seen any FedEx guy. I returned to my office only to find FedEx says the package was delivered at 3PM and signed for by someone unknown to us. Now I have the hassle of dealing with a supplier who has a confirmed delivery to God knows where (it certainly was not at our store) and may be out the money for the shipment. Clearly the FedEx drivers serving the Mission district are clueless and apparently deliver people's packages carelessly and then note they were delivered correctly on tracking reports. I have asked our supplier to reship citing the signature on the receipt they have is no one known to us. Apparently FedEx can't even read street numbers on business locations correctly. We don't need these hassles from the people who advertise they are the best in the shipping business. Our delivery came out of the same location you can ship from so we are writing this bad service report for them. They earned it. read more

I needed help making a print and James gave me half of the necessary instructions and then disappeared. Shy couldn't be bothered to load the paper into machine she just handed it to me like I knew how to use an industrial copier device. Very rude attitudes and completely lazy. read more

I'm the only person in the lobby and I walk up to the counter Me: hi. I have a package to pick up Staff: says nothing. Walks into the back. Comes back with a roll or receipt paper. Replaces the receipt paper. Then finally, "can I help you." Me: I have a package to pick up Staff: ID, goes to computer. Did someone call you about a package? Me: I got a text notification and a phone call. Staff: today? Minutes later my package finally appears. read more

I'm using the online services because FedEx is not available in my area, but that's the shipping company my package senders chose. Their website is not the best. I'm trying to write instructions on my delivery because my house is extremely hard to find. First , I had to sign up for fedex website which I was expecting. But THEN, I had to sign up again to use shipping services and that was kind of annoying. BUT the main problem was that their website kept crashing WHILE I was signing up. It continues to crash throughout my whole process of trying to get this delivery guy some instructions to my house. When I FINALLY get to the point where I can give some instructions, all I can write is 35 characters worth of a description! I need way more than that! He's not gonna find my place at all! I go to their customer service to ask if there's anyway to give more detailed questions and THAT question box was also too short! Clearly, they don't want to hear from us customers. read more

Probably the worst FedEx Office center I have been to. One plus is there is one free 10 minute parking spot out front. Other than that it is a bare bones location. They only have 2 copiers, one of which I didn't even notice as it is an old Xerox desktop model. That really leaves only one copier to use thus if someone is using that one you have to wait. I would only use this facility again in a real pinch. read more
