My delivery time got moved to 12:05 -2:05 PM and I continued to wait, I checked the tracking at 1:45 PM and the driver Rafael said he tried to deliver at 1:19 PM, but there was a problem with the address. That is an absolute lie and my cameras prove it. 100-GoFedEx said I could pick it up at the Eisenhower Ave. (Alexandria) location, which is 45 minutes away in heavy I95 traffic. Looking at the reviews for this location it is obvious that my situation is not unique. Rafael LIED. For what reason I can only speculate. WORST experience. I was told my package, which required signature, would be delivered between 09:20AM and 11:20AM, so I sat by my window, waiting for them. My delivery time got moved to 12noon, I continued to wait, I checked the tracking at 11:59AM and said they tried to deliver at 11:58AM, LIES! The tracking said to pick up at the Eisenhower location, I get there and the lady is being extremely rude to the customer in front of me. When it was my turn, she told me they didn't have the package and I start getting calls from the delivery driver saying he is at my door at 12:30PM, so why not extend the delivery time to 12:30PM instead of telling me to go to the location to pick it up myself? When I asked for the delivery driver's name, the rude employee, refused to give me his name, why? Their website doesn't work; note that you can sign up for an account & add delivery notes but the drivers have no access to any of that. So it's a waste of time. A total customer service failure. Shout out to a Tenecia Arrington, Fed Ex Express driver who restored my faith in customer service, tonight! Thank You!! She showed me what compassion looked like when I expressed my week-long search for a missing Ground package with a tracking number that's still coming up invalid that I deposited a week ago (Balducci's outside parking lot location). I had gone three times to the Eisenhower Ship Center where Greg told me I dropped a Ground package in an Express box, which was the problem, when in fact the drop box accepted both. He, also, included that the label could've come off. All possible, except he forgot to tell me how he could help me. He said I shouldn't trust that drop box. When I asked for a manager she gathered the same info, and said to give her a couple days to start from the beginning. I thanked her. It gave me an idea. . . Tonight, I waited for the Fed Ex driver at 6:00pm (at the original outside drop box) to respectfully ask what happens to Ground packages that are dropped here, and if it's true that I shouldn't trust this drop box. She graciously listened, gave me answers, an apology, and solutions that included escalating it to someone with authoritative resolve! I was conscious of her time and while the conversation took all of about five minutes, it made the world of difference inspiring me to come home and write immediately. And, it's that kind of person who restores faith in humanity. Fed Ex is an amazing company who cares about getting packages in and out on time, I just feel that it shouldn't be at the expense of customer service. Yeeaaaahhh this review is being written while standing in line. I mean I have PLENTY of time. You can tell from my vid and pic. Well anyhoo..I'll make it short and sweet. This was a bad experience to start my morning. I just came in to pick up my package that couldn't be delivered to my place. Their system was down, they only had one person working the front. The wait was a good 35min (yes I clocked the wait.) And there is a man here that had his package mishandled and was shipped to another city. But here's the kicker...guess what he had shipped to himself. . (Wait or it...) LIVE DOGS! Talk about PISSED lol he was letting the ladies at the front desk have it. 1st. Somehow the ipads that was suppose to be sent to me by Saturday somehow another person that's not me, signed for the package outside of residence!!! Then I called fed ex they told me, it was a mis delivery but someone activated the iPads so I reported them stolen but yet no one at this building can tell me who delivered the package or where it was delivered too. Mind it's over $2800 value. 2. I had to place another order for the iPads which, I called the fedex representative to make sure package must be signed and not signed by a random person, they told me that I can pick up my package because it was at store. I called the shipper the package should be here tomorrow so the lady lied because she wanted to be lazy and not retrieve the package due to her "not being able to find it" then turns into shipper wants items return. Incompetent, surly, unhelpful, lazy and rude staff. Generally not a pleasant experience. There is one staff member who always sits there with his mask on his chin and can't be bothered to adjust it when a customer walks in. So why bother with the chin strap charade in the first place... just don't wear it. This same dude argues endlessly but after 15-30 mins realizes you were right and him wrong and does what you requested in the first place. Yes its location and sign are a little weird; I found myself at first heading up to some company's guarded gate, and I could tell by the guard's expression I wasn't the first. I was nervous about shipping my packages to this location since the previous reviews were pretty terrible. After going there, I'm now sad that the previous reviews have given this place such a bad reputation. For me, the experience was quite pleasant. Aside from the fact that my iPhone GPS led me to the "employees only parking lot," I found this location to be very user friendly. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and accommodating to me. I got a notification for one package but I knew I was suppose to have 2 there so I asked if she could check on the status of my other package too even though the tracking said it was not there. She checked and indeed both packages were there. She was offered carts to assist me taking the packages to my car. I thought the location was clean and gave me what I needed. On Tuesday I had a package "delivered" to my house. The driver was so effing lazy he threw it out of his van door into the middle of my driveway instead of walking it 20 feet to the door! Then, the morons sent me an email on Thursday telling me I had a package being delivered "by end of day Friday" and needed to sign for delivery. I stayed home from work, lost over $800 in wages and the package never arrives. I call this morning and get the same BS "by end of day Saturday", the customer lack of service representative from India that can barely speak english is of course no help so I ask for the supervisor. Lisa, the only person in India with that name, also can barely converse and thinks its perfectly acceptable to make me sit at home another day and lose more wages. Total BS. I asked for her supervisor and she refused to let me speak to them. You could get a drug addict with an IQ of 5 who had to crawl all the way to deliver a package to deliver faster than FEDEX. My all-time favorite is still when the lazy driver decided to put a cardboard box on top of the recycling bin that was out on the street for pickup. I can't even fathom the ineptitude of this company...it has no limits. If anyone tells me the only way I can get a product delivered to me is by FEDEX, I will not buy that product in the future, that is how piss poor FEDEX is read more

Had to pick up a package that they said couldn't be delivered because I wasn't home and the office wasn't open (that's another story. There's always someone to accept the packages at my building). Went to the counter and the woman barely said anything to me. Took my tracking number and disappeared. She comes back with a box that looks like it fell off the back of the truck while driving down the road. I asked her as much and she didn't respond. Luckily there wasn't anything fragile in the box because it would have been destroyed. Very disappointed in the condition of the package and the problems with delivery. Bad delivery service! The tracking status said that there was no one at home or business closed, and that was completely inaccurate. I was in my apartment all day, and we had 24/7 concierge. there was no tag door note. The driver did not make any attempt to deliver AT ALL. I read other reviews, and apparently I wasn't the only one who received this bad service. If you choose this as a career, be committed to your customers. The package may mean nothing to you, but it means the world to us. We work hard to pay for the package and pay for you to deliver it right. Shame on you! read more

Not worthy of any stars! My history of bad luck with FedEx is extensive. Here are three recent experiences: 1) FedEx delivered a machine part to a Starbucks coffee machine at my apartment door. Starbucks address and mine couldn't be more different. I tried to call FedEx, and couldn't get through. It took me a week to figure out how to get rid of the heavy box. 2) FedEx left a small bag of my medications in the far corner of the Amazon Hub mailroom under a large pile of heavy boxes. My apt management did several searches for my meds for almost a week. 3) Today the building cleaner asked me if I wanted my medications. What? I asked her where they were. In the Amazon Hub mailroom. The delivery person left over $1500 worth of meds in plain white pharmacy bags with all of my personal information, including the names of my meds sitting randomly on top of boxes...like someone just forgot their lunch. FedEx should have packaged them appropriately and left them in one of the Amazon lockboxes. FedEx workers are lazy and incompetent. Even their customer service is AWOL. I wonder if they realize that if someone had helped themselves to my meds, it could've been a very tragic ending for that person and FedEx would be liable! read more

This is the worst Fedex location in the country, bar none. They are rude, obtuse, unhelpful, and loudly disrespectful. When I asked for the manager, they yelled at me "you got a problem?!" On my way out, they said "Whatever - I hope your package doesn't get LOST." IT's been two days, and guess what? My package is not anywhere in Fedex's system. If you must use Fedex, Go somewhere... ANYWHERE but this location. They will ruin your day, at minimum, most certainly give terrible service (customer and otherwise), and will sour you on the company as a whole. I paid extra for expedited shipping, but seeing as I had to spend over an hour of my own time retrieving my package, I think FedEx should be paying me instead. One afternoon, I received a notification saying "Delivery attempted - Business closed" - I don't live at a 'business', was home at the time the delivery was supposedly attempted, and the 'scan' location for the attempted delivery was the location of the warehouse, not where I live - leading me to believe the package never left the warehouse at all. As I needed the package that day, I had to drive out to the warehouse during rush hour (where I had the pleasure of interacting with two grumpy individuals) to pick it up. This experience really soured me on FedEx and I'm extremely irritated I paid EXTRA for this level of service. read more

I am currently and utterly disappointed at the moment. I ordered something on Friday for it to be overnight and priority from California. Everything was moving on schedule just like it should be until it got to this location at 7:27 am Monday morning February 21, 2022. The txt and email notifications said it should be at my residence before 12pm. It is NOW going on 4pm. I literally live 3miles away from this FedEx location so I called customer service and asked could I just pick it up since the updates says it's just sitting there. I get there and was told they couldn't even locate my time sensitive package. Now at this point I am VEXED!! So after calling multiple numbers and talking to multiple representatives I was told that the driver had delivered my package at 11:15 but wasn't able to scan anything because his device didn't work. 1st off that's a lie because I was outside waiting from 10-12 in case they appear. 2nd! How incompetent can you be to work with no working devices and 3rd!! Why lie about delivering packages when you know you didn't. I am only upset because I paid for priority/overnight and I am just getting the run around. I love my African American ppl but they are THE WORST at customer service!! And if I had their names I would definitely put it in this review, especially the dispatcher who needs to either get retrained or fired! Here it is 5:20pm. Still nothing. Wow reading the other reviews for this FedEx location, I feel like a complete mutant. I use this location all the time and have had zero problems either shipping or receiving packages. Its close to home and has very convenient hours. The staff are efficient and professional and the counters nicely stocked with shipping supplies. I really don't know what else you can expect out of a shipping service center. But the FedEx guy who delivers to my condo complex notoriously doesn't inform you that you've got a package until the 3 attempts to deliver are up - so I'm very glad to have an option nearby to pick things up - as well as to use as a "deliver for pickup" location for critical items that I absolutely must have in hand on a certain day. read more

I received a Fed-Ex home deliver at 9:20am. The door tag said that I would not be able to pickup my package until after 8:00pm. This distribution center is only open until 8:30pm!!!!! So they basically give me a half hour window to pickup my package. I live 45 minutes from this distribution center! I think a half hour window like this is VERY UNREASONABLE, especially with the package that was at my door at 9:30am!!! After missing a delivery three days in a row (not anyones fault, really, just frustrating) I came to this location to pick up in person. The employee could not have been better.
