WOW, i had a great experience at this Fedex with a very friendly & helpful agent. I arrived 15 minutes before closing and 15 minutes after the cut off time. The agent was frantically working in the back processing 900 small packages of necklaces when she responded to the intruder alert that sounded as i entered to small counter area. She greeted me with a concern look on her, i assured her my package was not an overnight package being dropped off after the deadline, but one that only needed a tracking number and a slow boat to its destination. Although i honestly believe she would have slipped my package in if i needed her to. I had planned to skip this location, but ran out of time. luck was on my side. read more

You probably know where this is headed. As of 2 days ago, I still didn't have my package (Tuesday, 1/4). It was dropped off at FedEx in Somerville, MA on Monday, December 20. It arrived in Wilmington, MA on Monday, Dec. 27. I realize that those 7 days include Christmas. But here's the deal if you aren't familiar with New England geography in the USA - Somerville, MA and Wilmington, MA are 16 miles apart. 7 days to travel 16 miles?!? It gets worse. Once my package finally made it to Tacoma, WA on Thursday, Dec. 30, I thought, 'Great, it'll get to Burlington, WA tomorrow, and delivered on Saturday. Or maybe Sunday. Monday (1/3) at the latest, right? No. It took 14 hours to move from Tacoma to Burlington (about 100 miles). It arrived at 3:16 PM on Friday, Dec. 31. And it's been sitting there ever since. Finally, it looks like my package made it onto a FedEx truck for delivery, after sitting in Burlington (12 miles away) for 5 days! FedExpress? Hardly. It's time to change your name. Fedex drivers coming from the Burlington, WA distribution center have been unable to deliver to my apartment since I moved here in 2020. I have been home every single time they have "attempted" a delivery. I can count in one hand the number of times I actually received a FedEx package at my home. So I began having them delivered at a Walgreens. What they don't tell you, is that even though Walgreens is open at 8am, they do not deliver to Walgreens on the weekends, no matter if they are open or not. Yep. They put the package on the truck for no reason. Then they mark it as "business not open" (even though the business is very much open) Thankfully, I found the distribution centers real number. The one customer service will lie and say doesn't exist. (360) 428-3410 They will tell you the drivers are all contracted out with various driving companies. Drivers are no longer FedEx employees. They will offer to have supervisors to call you, but it's all a song and dance. If you have constant problems when something is being shipped via FedEx: My advice: As soon as you get a shipping/delivery confirmation, either have it held at their location or at a Walgreens, etc. The physical Burlington hub location: 2000 S Walnut Burlington, WA George hopper exit Right Round about Take a right Phone number directly to a person at the hub: (360) 428-3410 They close at noon on the weekends, so don't listen if they tell you to pick up after that on a Saturday or Sunday. Terrible experience! This center is a mess, 7 days in a row, package was loaded on a truck, assigned a driver and time window, then returned to the Burlington facility for delivery the following day. Customer service has no ability to do anything other than read the history and promise tomorrow. No ability to escalate to a supervisor or manager. read more

I'm another one would like to leave 0 stars. Writing this during Dec, but this is not a holiday or COVID issue. Any time a package goes through Burlington FedEx, expect delays and for it to be thrown from the truck. We have a covered porch and have had multiple items ruined because FedEx left the box at the end of the driveway or in a ditch getting hit with rain. There is no reason for this. I ordered an item that was sent in three large boxes. This location has delivered on one of the items but the other two have remained at the Burlington Station since mid Jan. Since then they have been scanned/rescanned multiple times as on 'truck for delivery' and as of last week, 'Pending' with no other news. I have tried to use the virtual assistant, I have called FedEx Customer Service (Which is an amazing phenomenon given that it feels like the automated response was programmed to argue with customers), and I have tried to set a HOLD at Location but have been blocked. FedEx Customer Service is extremely lacking as it is difficult to get answers to basic questions and I feel like overall the company does not care about customer experience. Going forward, I will refuse to do business with any company that uses FedEx to deliver packages exclusively. I live in a rural area and share my driveway with the neighbor. Other companies have been able to find my place for delivery. FedEx doesn't even make an effort. I've stopped ordering from companies that use them, or I will request to ship via some other method. We've previously had no issues with FedEx delivery here in Springfield, MO. They have been great! Suddenly, my latest package must have been literally HIJACKED to a "Burlington, WA" facility for "local" delivery to our CORRECT Springfield, MO 65804 address??!! Missouri is in the middle of the US, while Washington is in the far Northwest. After going online, I agree that FedEx absolutely needs to be conducting internal investigations. With so much of this going on now, the only plausible explanation is an embedded consortium of crooks redirecting and then hijacking choice packages with their "man in the middle" presence. This is unlikely to happen unless several employees are involved. I also agree their 800 customer service number is of no value whatsoever, and the automated chat is even worse. This FedEx branch is completely dysfunctional. An item I ordered was scheduled for delivery seven days ago, then delayed until 7/18. On that day the tracking info said it was on the truck for delivery. A FedEx truck pulled into our driveway that afternoon, stopped briefly, and then left. At 8:30 p.m. that night the tracking info showed "Delivery attempted - Customer not available or business closed". Well, the item I ordered doesn't even require a signature, so the delivery should have been completed regardless. I've done parcel delivery, and it seems likely that drivers are making bogus scans to appear like they're trying to fulfill orders when they're not. Tracking said another attempt would be made 7/19, but no such attempt was made. Instead tracking that night shows "Delivery exception - Future delivery requested" (by customer). WHAT!?!? We didn't request any change to the delivery - we just want our stuff. This same FedEx branch 'delivered' a new Mac computer last year by literally dumping it by the side of our driveway out by the road. In the future I will do all I can to avoid having parcels shipped via this lame outfit. read more

The Burlington FedEx site is where packages go to die. If you live north of Seattle and see that your package went to Burlington, don't expect to see it for a while. The so-called investigations won't do anything when you call customer service. They also won't let you pick it up since the shipper didn't specify site pick up, so God forbid if you provide identification that has your address because that won't ever be enough. If they were so worried about the shipper, then why don't they actually deliver the package in the time they promised? That's a commitment they're failing with the seller AND the buyer. We have been having issues with porch pirates in Anacortes and Fedex is making it easier for them. Amazon, UPS and USPS drivers don't behave this way. The burlington FedEx center is a black hole for packages. Every time I've had a package go through there in the past 6 months it has sat for at least a week before it was delivered. My current package has been placed on a delivery truck for 4 of the past 5 days but has yet to be delivered. When you call to ask what is going on all the help center can do is read off what I can see on my screen. They say an "investigation" has been started but can't transfer my call to anyone working on my case. There are NO supervisors that work at the call center so it's not really a surprise that their service is so poor. Get with it FedEx or get out of the business. read more

Fedex Ground out of Burlington is the most inept organization I've ever had to deal with. During a recent tracking I read that a first attempted delivery was made on 9 June 2022. This is a lie! I met the driver on that day and my package was not on the truck. The next day a truck arrived and once again, my package was not on the truck. Now tracking only says delayed, with no explaination. I would just add one more to the long list of people here who have been jerked around by the Burlington distribution center, or just FedEx in general. Their service is just terrible. My package was marked as "Out for Delivery" from Troutsdale, OR, but I live in Lake Stevens, WA. Seems unlikely, probably more like they had to update that flag to keep the vendor happy. I saw a similar complaint about someone in Missouri who had their package mislabeled as Out For Delivery from Burlington, WA. FedEx is a joke. A bad joke. The fellow who delivers to us drives a smelly old diesel that can barely idle. It's the most pathetic delivery truck I've ever seen. That's ok though if they can get the package to my house, but therein lies the problem. Their systems are pretty messed up and they don't work on Saturday or Sunday. I eventually received my case of wine OVER TWO WEEKS after shipment that should have taken TWO DAYS! My home is apparently towards the end of their delivery route, so that when the driver has run out of time he just turns around and heads back to the facility with all the undelivered shipments. Then those shipments go back into the system and are EVENTUALLY put on another vehicle. This happened to my shipment THREE TIMES! (the re-delivery labels still on the box). Well here we are! FedEx has really done it to me. Like many others, zero would be the preferred star. I ordered an R/C remote control on December 25th. It's a 517.00 purchase. I ordered from Amazon but it is sent from the hobby company direct to me. Not through Amazon delivery. No problem, right? WRONG! On January 2nd it arrives in Burlington WA and that's when the fun starts. It's out for delivery on January 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, ..... On the 14th, I contacted the hobby company through their email because, hey, why have an actual customer support phone, right? I tell the company to request the package returned to them since it's obviously not getting to me. I then reorder again through Amazon, hoping that this was just a glich. Nope, it gets even better. My new order makes it to Tacoma (original order still "delayed") on January 19th. At 9:56 pm, it is sent to, guess where? Yup, Burlington. Only it never gets there. Today is the 21st in the evening and it's still "in transit". I called earlier today and they're doing a SEARCH REQUEST for the package. Here's the funny (not funny) part. That original order? The one that I requested returned to the hobby company? It's sent from Burlington on the 20th at 4:59 am back to the hobby shop. I was told that it's currently headed south and is in Oregon. My suspicion is that there's a thief that was able to take my second order and use it as the return for my first order. Needless to say, if I don't get this second order. I will be making a 3rd attempt. Only it won't be through any company using FedEx. I understand the problems that Covid has caused. Missing packages and poor customer service is not COVID related! I live in Everson WA, about 20 miles from Burlington. I've had packages sitting in Burlington since January 12th, it's now January 21. It's supposedly been out for delivery twice, but not delivered due to "Weather Delay". One of the delivery days I was out on a horse ride, no weather issues, yesterday I spent outside with horses and splitting wood, no weather issues. A call to Customer support in India, they can't connect me to anyone in Burlington, all they can do is open an incident and send a message to a Case Manager. First said due to weather...roads have been clear and dry since my package had arrived to the facility. It snowed a week ago, road crews do an excellent job keeping roads nice and clear. I've never been a fan of FedEx but we moved a couple years ago and for as long as we've had our current driver he's been FAB! Seriously the best! But this is not about him of course ;) Currently waiting on a delivery that is now over a week late. I called the 1-800 number as there was no local number given. They logged my complaint and someone from this location was to call me back....someone DID but from corporate again. Great. THAT person called this location and talked to someone while I was one hold. I didn't have much faith in any of it as I was on hold for 2 mins max. Just bring me my damn package already! Promised it would be here yesterday...nope! Two days in a row I saw our driver...once at the neighbor's house and tried to flag him down but he likely thought my son was waving at him vs actually needing him :P Last night was maddening as I was RIGHT behind him. I wanted to get out at the traffic light but that would have been a bit crazy on my part ;) Plus it's not his fault. I just want a local phone number and i don't want to drive 50 miles each way to get my package. UPS has this down so much better.
