A "big Bertha" works here; middle aged, red hair, lots of eyeshadow. I believe she is the same gal mentioned in the 2025 review below. Every time I have come in, I say hello, how are you? I get a pathetic "okay" with dead stare, underlying of "you annoy me, I hate being here". Feel bad for whomever has to spend time with her. Hope she is not a mom. Firstly, teenagers at their first customer service job are taught to throw your baggage out the door when you walk through the work doors and are on the clock. Even if you have a bad day, a fake smile will trick your mind. I got a "we missed you" for an authorized delivery on my door. I asked if the package was submitted here. I was advised that this location is a "separate contract agency" from FedEx and that my package went back to the fedex facility in roseville. I asked if there was a way for me to get the package to get sent to this location instead of this happening again. I work 8-5, M-F, and cant be home on a whim of notice. Advised to call FedEx. Can I do that here? "No". Call the FedEx "Go" number (5) times...no one picked up, it was almost as if it was out of order. The 6th time I called it actually was picked up by AI operator. Took about 15 minutes of the AI operator getting my door tag number wrong to connect me to a human. If you want to keep enjoying your pleasant day, do not come here. Come here when you're having a bad day, so you can keep that energy level with the staff who is also having a bad...life? The staff at USPS in town are friendly, even when they just got yelled at by an old customer who is taking their anger out on them for something that is completely out of their hands. read more

Went to this FedEx shipping center to return two laptops using a pre-paid QR code. You know, like it's 2025 and we live in a society. I walked in, smiled, and said, "Hi, how are you?" The woman behind the counter--mid-30s, vibes of "I'm not mad, I'm just permanently disappointed"--looked straight at me and scowled. No "hello," no "how can I help you," not even a grunt. Just pure, dead-eyed loathing. Maybe her cat died. I don't know. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. "I need to mail these two laptops," I said, holding up my tiny tech sacrifices like offerings to the shipping gods. Nope. Even though this is a giant FedEx shipping center, apparently scanning a QR code is too heavy a lift. If I want to complete my mission, I'm gonna need to get in my car and drive 40 minutes to Auburn--because that's where the real magic happens. Final verdict: If you're in Grass Valley or Nevada City and need to ship anything that requires more than a death stare, go to UPS. They're friendly. They might take their sweet time, but at least they know what a box is and how to scan a code. Revolutionary. read more

Our neighbor received our package that had her address on it and she took it back to FedEx Grass Valley at Springhill Dr. the agent at the desk never scanned the package and took it back to the FedEx ground area and now the package is lost yet FedEx won't help us! They never did an RTS or scan it back in. read more

This place sucks big time. They don't answer their phone. You get a robot that doesn't answer your question and won't allow you to talk to a real person. They don't have the equipment to read the return codes used by online retailers for return shipments. This place is operating in the 1980's. read more

Not a huge fan of this place. They don't open until 9am and which is slightly inconvenient when you have important documents to ship because you can't take care of it before work. Also, they close at 5:30 so you have to rush to get here after work. They send out their deliveries at 4:45 so even if you make it after work your packages or documents won't go out until the next day. I arrived early (at the expense of being late for work) to mail important title documents to my lender. They had to be in her hands the next day, so I was pretty concerned. 9:00 am rolled by and the door was still locked and the lights were off. I knocked and a woman let me in. She was very friendly, which is the only reason I gave this place two stars instead of one. When I asked if she could print out the FedEx mailing label that the title company emailed me she refused even though I could see a printer right behind her. I'm sure they have rules against printing things for customers, but they should be able to print their own shipping labels out. I stepped outside to call the title company to get their FedEx account info to write out the shipping label by hand. I got the information from the frustrated woman at the title company and when I tried to go back inside the door was locked! I knocked again and the woman cheerfully let me in again, but the whole process was much more difficult and inconvenient than it should have been. If they opened one hour earlier they could easily earn another two stars. If they also printed the shipping labels they could probably earn another star and bump themselves up to a five star rating! read more

Terrible service. One lousy attempt to deliver a package and then they are refusing to make a second attempt to deliver. Our address really is not that hard to find, they are just being lazy. I called several times to get this resolved and I am getting the run around. Now I have to go in and expose myself to COVID. read more

Missed signing for a package? Well, it used to be you could drop by and pick it up at the end of the day. Now, they send em all back to a warehouse in Roseville (unless you have the foresight to know you will miss the fedex guy!) This kind of nonsense is why I prefer UPS or USPS. read more

Was on hold for over 8 min, Claudia rudely put me on hold when I asked a question about a delivery and never got back to me. I have had problems in the past, and it's still the same.
