I'm very upset with the services that were provided to me on several occasions here in Hawaii which has got me driving endlessly in circles. This most recent one upset me with the utmost incompetent services. I had a package that was suppose to be delivered to me last weekend, when I checked the tracking number on Monday it said Fedex had attempted to deliver my package twice - not once was a door tag left for me. On Monday I had requested for the package to be left at a local FedEx near me which happened to be Walgreens. I got a confirmation that I would be able to pick up the package at Walgreens. I got a text Tuesday morning that I have 5 days to pick up the package. Come Thursday 8/17 (2 days after), I went to Walgreens in which the employee there said the package was re-picked up by FedEx and they're not sure what happened. I then went to the main FedEx office to inquire. They said the package was sent back to the original seller (Nordstrom). The employee said they have new people working and something must have happened. I asked to speak to a manager, who then told me that the package in fact never made it to Walgreens FedEx and that it had been at the main branch since Monday. When I asked about the 5 days, he said they only keep it for 2 days at the local office. I then asked well, is my package still here in Hawaii? He said yes, but that it's already packed into the shipment container back to seller and there was nothing he could do. He told me I then had to contact Nordstrom back to see what they can do. I don't understand why I got a confirmation to pickup at Walgreens in which the package supposedly never went there, and second why I received a text message saying they'll hold my package for 5 days to pickup and when I went 2 days later the package was already on its way back to the seller. I am infuriated because upon calling Nordstrom, they told me they will refund my money back but that they have no way of re-sending me the package as it went back to warehouse and the items are no longer being sold online. I will have to wait to see if the items get restocked and put back for sale. This is not the first time FedEx delivery here in Hawaii has messed up. If I could pick a shipment company FedEx would be my last choice. Their staff should be better trained, something absolutely needs to change. read more

The RUDEST old haole lady works here. Took a box this am to mail overnight and showed ID to get discount (ID on phone). Said need to show the back of this ID. Told OHL (old haole lady) that I didn't have it (not mine) and she said need to have it. Really? I've mailed things from FOUR FEDEX locations, including THIS one, for YEARS and was NEVER asked for the BACK of the ID. Response? "Well, I'm telling YOU that you NEED it." FedEx- can we be consistent at least? Had I known YEARS ago I need it, I would've had it readily available, but this inconvenience and inconsistency penalized ME. I have waited all day here at my condo to receive a package that was scheduled for delivery today and then I received an e-mail stating that they tried to deliver but no one was available. They always deliver to my door even though I live in a condo. I was home and they DID NOT deliver to my door. I understand that they have the code (or the swipper) to get to our condo's, as they do during the week, and I didn't even get a call that they could not come up. My telephone number is listed downstairs in the lobby that they could see. I would have been happy to go down and meet them. I was expecting an overnight delivery package tonight and the tracking was updated just before 5pm to say it was out for delivery. I knew FedEx delivers until 8pm so I wasnt too concerned. At approximately 7:30pm I was standing in my driveway and a FedEx truck drove halfway down my street but did not come all the way in to my house. My address is posted on both my house and my garage. About 9pm I checked the tracking page and it said I needed to pick up my package at their center due to an "incorrect address." I called the company that sent my package and they verified my correct address. Too bad FedEx, your lazy driver who didn't want to look for my house earned you a 1 tonight. read more

I will never understand how a delivery company will mess up this much. I would rather use USPS. Every single time I'm forced to use Fed Ex, it's a disaster. They've lost my cellphone in the past, they are lazy as hell to walk up to the second floor to my door when it requires a signature, and just automatically claim they "missed" me. It's just beyond irritating that I always have to end up driving down to their facility to pick my stuff up! I've even been sitting outside literally all day, and I live in a dead end and they STILL claim they came but I know for a fact they did not. worst customer service ever!!! went in to pick up a package and as soon as I got in, their system went down. while 2 associates were trying to figure out what happened the 3rd associate just stood their confused. 10 mins passed and still the system is down by this time the line started to get longer, and finally the useless lady that was just standing there finally spoke and asked to help the customers in line to see if any one of us was just here to pick up packages and majority of us were. by the time it was my turn to be helped i handed the lady my ID and then she came back 5 mins later and told me I couldn't pick up my package today because my address on my ID did not match the address on the package I'm picking up. so ofc after waiting in line for a while now and being told I couldn't pick it up because my address didnt match (mind you people move out of their old addresses, case being mine. haven't lived at the old address for years) I asked them what the problem was since the person on the ID is clearly me standing in front of her. So I decided to pull my work paystub on my phone and while I was doing so she brings over her supervisor and he proceeds to tell me a digital copy of my paystub can't be accepted. at this point I'm furious. I asked the guy what's the difference between me showing him a digital paystub I just downloaded vs a physical document? He states it's just policy and decides not to say anything else. Clearly, he is lacking in his customer service dept because this is the 21st century and most companies are doing away with paper paystubs. So I asked to speak to a manager on duty and I explained my situation and he didn't see a problem with this, so I stood there staring at the 2 idiots who clearly don't know anything about customer service or their job for that matter. if you could, I would avoid fedex at all cost, this is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any courier!! read more

Went to FedEx Ship Center after receiving an email from them saying that my package could not be delivered and that I had five days to pick it up. I was very disappointed with several of their clerks lack of customer service. I don't know if the clerks were just over the holidays or just plain rude. They couldn't find my package after looking for 45 minutes, they argued with me about my email message and then one of the clerks took my name and number and said that he would call me in a hour when they located my package. To add insult to injury when I went back to my truck that was parked in the FedEx parking lot there was a nasty note on my windshield saying my truck would be towed because this was parking for FedEx customers only. I took the note back into the FedEx store and asked the clerk about it and he said "oh yea, we pay the security to put those letters on the cars". I was so upset I just left. After three hours still no phone call so I went back down there. When I presented my tracking number I finally got by box. I hope to never experience that kind of behavior when patronizing a business again. read more

I have had packages from FedEx delivered for the 17 years I've lived on Oahu. 15 years had no problems but these last two years have been a colossal screw up, loss of control, careless attitude and crappy customer service. Now they hire people that have no sense of responsibility and since they are only temp workers FedEx is more than happy to put their name on the line and screw the customers. We paid $150.00 to have some mortgage papers delivered expedited because it could take forever with the people they hire and we had a deadline! So we receive a text stating that they will deliver our package the next day, we have someone at home to get it once delivered. We receive a text that the package was delivered, we called home, no package... we search the front door area where it is always delivered to, we check the mailbox in the back alley, we search the yard...no package anywhere! So we drive to the FedEx customer service office and speak to a representative behind the counter because the 800 customer service said we had to file a claim! I don't know what has happened in FedEx but apparently every employee hates their job and they are miserably rude! The woman behind the counter seemed put off that we were there if the package had been delivered! I was ready to jump across the counter at this point but I tell her that we didn't get the package and we asked for the manager since the woman behind the counter didn't understand English! She tells me all the managers went to lunch and it was at this point that I let my husband take over and I went outside to my car! I hate dismissive employees that are there to be the company representative service counter! No one cares about customer service. She begrudgingly looks up on her computer and I hear her tell my husband that it went to Apartment 9, side door...I was beginning to mutter under my breath because it took all of my control to keep walking towards my car! We live in a home not an apartment and we don't have a side door! What happened to ringing the bell at the front door? I couldn't help myself but I whipped around and said we got 3 notifications all different and none of them were correct! I only signed up for text notification when I get the tracking but this was just a fail! They had the driver go back and retrieve the package and he had thrown it over the fence! I've been there several times to ship a package and always had to wait an inordinate amount of time. From my experience and previous reviewers comments it seems that FEDEX needs to assign more people to the counter. Every time I've been there only one or two employees were working the counter. If you are able to have your package shipped from home or office I recommend that. Today I called the 800 number to request a FEDEX Express pickup at my residence, the driver arrived less than 20 minutes later. Bottom line: Avoid this location if possible. read more

I am only giving this one star because you cannot give ZERO stars. Long story short on a Sunday my phone ended up in the ocean and I could not retrieve it. On Monday Verizon told me to go through insurance and get it the next day (Tuesday) so I went home and ordered it online, unfortunately they shipped it through FedEx. I have to use my phone to work so I could not work Monday or Tuesday while waiting for my replacement phone. On Tuesday I stalked the package through the FedEx website and saw the estimated delivery go from 3p to 5p, then at 5:01p it changed to "n/a". I was home all day, nobody came to my door. Being that I had no phone I could not call to find out why the website updated to failed to deliver business closed/no answer (this was a residence anyway) .I was home all day waiting and waiting for this package. I emailed my dad and he called and had to transfer up the chain of command through FedEx's 800 number to get a solution. After 45 min he told me I can go pick it up between 6p-7p at this shipment center. I arrived at 6:30p and was told my driver was not back yet to hand me my package but I can wait. I asked why it was not delivered and he said it was not my usual driver and he didn't know he had a key to enter my apartment building. At 7p they closed and told me I can wait outside but he would not be back for an hour. I said I will wait it is very important (I have to be able to work) and he said OK. At 8:30 I was alone in the dark FedEx parking lot, no driver had come by in 45 min and nobody had come out for me. I left to go email my Dad to call the next morning (he lives in AZ). The next morning, Wednesday, my dad spent 3 hours on the phone again transferring up through the chain of command trying to get my package to stay at the facility for me to pick up. FINALLY they gave up and rudely said it was at the counter waiting for me. They also informed my dad that the delivery driver that night ended up getting lost and did not return to FedEx until about 10:30p that night (very comforting he was lost for 4 hours within Honolulu...). In the end I had to miss 2 1/2 days of work because they were so disorganized and my Dad had to go through hours of rude people refusing to help and find an easy solution. I will never use FedEx for work or personal packages due to this sites incompetence. read more

If possible I would give this service a 0 star rating. Don't think I can get that low and still register my outrage. Logistics, logistics, logistics people. You need to get some from somewhere. Two packages expected. First one not delivered due to "incomplete address". Needed an apt number. OK. I called the 800 number and was told I could go to the office and pick it up. Got to the office and the box is out on a truck. "I will call the driver". The driver does not respond. "I will call you as soon as I have an ETA from the driver". We have driven home and sitting. No delivery, no phone call. Second package. Online tracking indicates this box is in the facility and will not go out on a truck before 4/11/11 (3 days). We print the tracking info and try to pick that box up. Sorry it is not here. It just left on the truck. I guess the same truck with box #1 and a driver who does not know how to use a cell phone. Logistics. Come on FedEX you can do better than this. Hire some competent people who can plan, route and deliver! read more

Jeez, the driver came up to the building parked his truck on the street left door tags on the lobby door and took off all in the span of 30 seconds. He didn't even walk out with the packages in his hand. How do I know this, well my apartment overlooks the street / lobby. I was waiting for my package with anticipation and I SAW THE TRUCK PULL UP NO PACKAGES OR TROLLEY IN HAND WALK UP TO THE DOOR AND WALK STRAIGHT BACK TO HIS TRUCK AND LEFT. WFT is that?!?!?!?! I called the customer service center, only to have the lady repeat her "pre-scripted answer" which was you can either go pick it up at 7 pm today or wait for the driver to do the same tomorrow. The location is pretty far and I am really not looking to drive out there during rush hour and I can't meet the driver in route, despite having the door tag, drivers are not smart enough to verify the government issued ID and the door tag to confirm that I am indeed the recipient of the package. First time using FedEx, sure will be LAST time I use FedEx. I blame google for using FedEx to ship my phone. I do not have a vendetta against them nor dislike FedEx. My neighbor works there, my friend Walter M delivered packages to Walter Payton & Michael Jordan for FedEx. Another friend Richard R works there. Today instead of receiving a "package" I got a "door hanger" on my mailbox?! I have no gated building, no security guard, nothing stopping a delivery to my apt. SHOCKING! Well anyways mistakes happen. I call (CALL # 1)FedEx 1 800 463-3339. The person there says "oh, I'm sorry, let me look into that. That shouldn't have happened. I'll have someone call you back shortly" (shortly?!) I asked how long is shortly? A day? An hour? The timeframe it takes to deliver packages? She assured me it would be today. 20 minutes later I call back (CALL # 2)FedEx. This person has no explanation but again is "sorry". I think this is robot speech for telephone person "I want to do something else" (I.E. drink coffee, read book). She offers to connect me to "customer advocate" AND HANGS UP ON ME! CALL # 3 FOR UNDELIVERED PACKAGE: 1 800 463-3339 explain situation, all events again. Person on phone says "you have a door hanger?" "Uhm yes, like I already told you I have a door hanger delivered to my 'mailbox' a door hanger should have been on my door. Are you listening?" She assures me she's listening but also reading "comments". I ask for "customer advocate" without being hung up on. Now I get to listen to the "customer advocate". Sometimes I think call centers just pass around calls to the person next to them for enjoyment but whatever; so long as I get my package from Verizon wireless (birthday gift for daughter). I go over details again for driver not coming to apartment, door hanger placed on "mailbox". Customer advocate apologizes, for being hung up on, package not arriving. I've been on this call now 20 minutes. 40 minutes from 1st call. Another call comes in from Fedex dispatch(808 838-6151)- "we will have driver come back after 4pm." And hangs up. The customer advocate comes back from checking (what?) and says "There, now you're getting your package". I reiterate my position: After failing to deliver to my apartment (only went to mailbox) MY PHONE NUMBER IS ON PACKAGE, multiple calls, being hung up on. Now the driver is nonchalantly at the end of his day going to swing by to drop off my package?NO, he should deviate from his route due to THE COMEDY OF ERRORS! And deliver the package that was screwed up the in 1st place. I tell the customer advocate he should come now to deliver this package. NOW multiple holds and excuses she can't get through to Hawaii office. I tell her maybe they took the phone off the hook and are in the parking lot drinking beer. WOW now dispatch in Hawaii calls (808 838-6151) and says I can meet the driver, hmm suspicious but ok. I get my car keys; put my 2 year old son in the apartment with his grandmother that has been home all day. He had an 11am appointment with preschool instructor. While driving the Supervisor "Lori" comes on the line (I've been holding while customer advocate gets a supervisor). I explain, while driving, the ridiculousness of FedEx to deliver this package, correct it, hang up, give excuses, not be able to reach Honolulu office etc. I tell her I am driving to get my package and this is not necessary (ME TO PICK UP FROM FEDEX) but I will complain later/on internet. HERE IS THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE AMAZING PART OF THE WHOLE STORY!!! The driver LIES to my face and says he came by my apartment! My mother, my 2 year old son, his preschool teacher were sitting 2 feet from the door with open windows! I tell him there's no way he came to the door. I get my package, sign for it I HAD TO SHOW ID. (whatever, security I guess) go back to my car. THEN THE THOUGHT- IF THIS BULL$HIT DRIVER CAME TO MY DOOR- WHY THE DOOR HANGER ON THE MAILBOX?! When I ask him this he says "gotta make more deliveries" and drives off. When contacted FEDEX all I get is an automated system and of course the tracking website is not correct. It's been over a week and the package is still missing/mis-located and unable to get FEDEX to do anything. If you have a choice use another shipping service. read more

I would have rather given negative stars. You guys suck. This is the 2nd time when I track it that it says package delivery was attempted but customer not available/business closed. All it shows is laziness on the drivers part. You don't try to deliver and instead you scan it as I'm not home (which is a lie) and then enter in that another delivery will be reattempted tomorrow. Both times this happened I was home the whole time and the intercom phone did not ring at all which means the driver didn't even attempt to deliver it. Additionally there's a big note on top of the intercom that says if resident isn't home to call the 24/7 security who will accept the package. Worse ever. It's the driver's discretion to leave the item even though I signed the tags (the 1st & 2nd door tags). But before I knew it was the driver's discretion, the representative told me they will drop my items off since I signed the tags. I called the day after they told me they was going to drop my item off to inform them that no attempts were made. They said, they will not drop my item off because it's the driver's decision to drop my item off or not (even if I signed the tags). He said the driver felt it was unsafe to drop the item on my doorstep because of it getting stolen. I live in a secluded area, my neighbors are far, my driveway is long, you cannot see my house from the road, & my neighbors' can't see my house. Even if he felt it was unsafe, I signed the door tags to leave it and representative told me they will leave my item at my house. Honestly, I just think the driver was too lazy to pull his dolly out & roll my item to the doorstep because I know his fedex truck can't fit into my driveway. The representative I spoke to wasn't understanding my frustration and kept repeating that I only have 2 days to pick it up or it will be returned. I live 30 mins from the address posted on the door tag. If they woulda told me that I had to pick it up the first time I called, It wouldn't be an issue. I coulda easily adjusted my work schedule but they failed to tell me that it's under the driver's discretion regardless if I wanted it dropped off my doorstep. The one and only time I visited here was to take my fiancee and her mother to pickup a package. There was only one employee working between the specified 6PM to 7PM pickup time. As you can guess, service was quite slow. If FedEx is supposed to be about speed and efficiency, how can your main regional location be so slow and inefficient? Okay Fedex corporate may wanna consider an overhaul of management at this, what I believe to be the Main Fedex on Oahu. I chose to drive to this location thinking I would get better service and my package would go out quicker but seriously don't bother. Use UPS or go to a Fedex Kinkos location instead. I had seen the lousy reviews of this office on google but thought maybe they had cleaned up their act in response. This is not the case. My experience here was one of the most frustrating customer service interactions I've encountered in awhile. If you insist on dealing with confrontational clerks giving contradictory responses and misinformation to simple questions on how best to ship your package then by all means go here! Worst Service ever. I'm crying as I'm writing this. I have perishables sitting at their Honolulu station that was suppose to be delivered yesterday. I even offer to pick it up. But they send no, because its still in a container not sorted. They send sorrow can't deliver until Monday. And mind you fedex has no type of refrigeration at their humongous Honolulu airport location. So my next day service turned into 3 days, due to their service delay. And now me as a customer have to pay the price because of fedex service failure delay. And fedEx is making no effort to go out of their way to help their customers when they make mistakes. Just don't miss a delivery at your house. It probably was because it was a few days before Christmas, but I missed a delivery so I had to go to the Ship Center to retrieve it. When I got there the parking lot was packed and I could see how long the line was so I was like, oh boy, here we go. I finally found a parking spot and went to wait in line. There were a lot of people sending out gifts so I knew I was going to be there for awhile. I think I waited in line for over 30 minutes but when I finally got to the counter and I got my package right away and got out of there. My box was a little big so they offered to help me take it to my car, which I thought was nice, but I just trooped it because I wanted to get out already. I think in those situations they should have a separate line for people who are just picking up to make things more smoothly and then if no one is picking up open it up for people dropping off. Omg terrible experience. I had those "we missed you" tags on my door with zero information filled out which doesn't tell me who came, what time they came, nothing! So by the third and final attempt, I wrote to the delivery person to please come after 445, in which I came home to a tag with 345 and a "I'll try to come back if I have time" on it. Well I never got my package and went there today only for them to tell me that it was sent back yesterday. I am totally dissatisfied with their service and will be sure to avoid using their delivery services in the future. Shipped some art work from Honolulu to the mainland. We packaged the material, but used excessive padding and bubble wrap and marked the box FRAGILE and THIS END UP to prevent the picture from being placed on it's side. Received the package with a huge imprint of a circular object placed on the FRAGILE marking. Needless to say, the contents were heavily damaged. A koa wood paddle was broken. Koa is so strong that the TSA classifies it as a weapon and does not allow it to be brought into the airplane cabin. They managed to break even this! FEDEX denied any responsibility. NEVER ship anything delicate with these folks. They will pack their airplanes as quickly and tightly as possible and ignore any warnings on the packaging. The staff at the drop off center were very friendly, and assured us that everything looked fine. They meant well, but the results didn't live up to their wishes. read more

Attempted delivery at 4 p.m. NOT! The driver just left the door tag and didn't call. The downstairs call up box rings to my husband's cellphone. There were no missed calls and the mail carrier had just called up in the morning so we know the call up box works. The customer service is clearly outsourced and basically reads back what's on the tracking. Delivery attempt doesn't mean just showing up to the building. UPS is so much better. It's clear UPS takes care of their workers as we have had a long time UPS driver who actually does his job. My guess is the FedEx driver's ethic reflects either poor customer service from Fedex or completely inefficient and unrealistic performance expectations by Fedex management that causes drivers to fake attempted delivery. read more

They told me my shopping would be $29 and I only had $30 on me, the woman helping me got busy with another customer so I moved to another worker to check my package. I can't believe they don't give their drivers a phone or anything that they can use to let the customer know that they have arrived. I am in a secured building so you would think that they would call or something!!!! I am supposed to get 2 packages that are so important today, but I'm afraid I won't even get them now. On top of that, they close at 8pm so I have to take off work knowing that they can come at any time. What a garbage type of service. Wow. I will never use fedex ever again. I'm so mad right now. Wow!
