Fed ex deserves 0 rating. Customer service sucks they say they came to your house to deliver and no ones home. That's a lie, I made sure 2 people was home to receive delivery, fedex driver didn't bother to get out of vehicle and knock on door. I did not receive any delivery receipt from them showing that they stopped by. By the way it was 2 day delivery. It's now 6 days later that they said they tried to deliver item. I signed up for alerts, was that helpful? No. They said they would deliver before 8:30 pm, then send me alert 10 minutes after assumed attempted delivery, that no one home. They should have alerted me when they got here. Someone would have come outside to sign for package. What do they think, we should sit outside and wait for delivery. Then when I called, they wouldn't ask driver to turn around and go back. No they explained we have to wait an additional day, because we're not important. I had someone to sign for delivery on the day they said they would deliver. We have jobs, and can't take off work everyday, sitting outside wAtching for the delivery person. I've been reading all of the reviews saying how awful the service is, but I have a totally different experience. I was expecting a delivery, but wasn't home when they attempted to deliver. This package needed a signature, so they weren't able to leave it. When I got home, I saw the note posted on my door stating that they attempted to deliver, but wasn't able to due to no one being home. Later in the evening my doorbell rings, and it's the FedEx driver with my package. He actually came back! I was so grateful! What's up with Hawaii fed ex? It sucks! Within a span of 2 weeks I have had 3 deliveries that were priority overnight deliveries scheduled for delivery by 5 pm. On all 3 deliveries no attempt was made to use the buildings intercom to call me. No attempt was made to call me. But wait, when you check online for an update it says driver attempted to deliver but no one present. What a crock of bs!!! When complaining, I was told by upper management it is not required that the driver call or use the intercom to call you to let them in building. It's at the drivers discretion. I will no longer use major retailers or any company that uses FedEx to deliver. Drivers leave packages at the front door just begging to be stolen. They can't bother to walk 15 feet to the back door and leave it there. Both UPS and USPS walk those 15 feet to safeguard my packages. So now, every time I shop on line, I will find out their shipper and if they use FedEx I will cancel my order and find the product elsewhere. Thank god Amazon uses UPS. I will let that retailer know why they are losing business, too! Just today I got a package left at the front door... No knock...just left it there. I saw it as I was leaving for work. So pathetic! Worse delivery service. I would not use them to ship anything and would really think twice about buying from someone who does. The reason? Yesterday 3 people were at home, delivery notification says no one home and a door tag was left. No door tag to be seen on any doors. Today, the only reason I figured someone was at the door was because I here a "beep" outside. No knock on the door, no doorbell rung. I look outside and the female Fedex driver is half way down the driveway. Get to the door and there is an envelope on the wet garage floor. (Yup, today is a day where we're having heavy rains, thunderstorms and a flood advisory.) I guess it was just too much to ask for her to toss it just 2 more feet out of the rain. If I could, I would say this place deserves ZERO stars. In June, our daughter went to NY for a 7 week long camp. There was a laundry list of items that she needed. We had this brilliant idea that we would send her things in a duffel bag/suitcase carrier instead of a shipping box since it would probably be way sturdier than cardboard. So off her things went. No one asked if we wanted "insurance". Long story short. Two weeks later, we are in NYC getting ready to make our way upstate for the camp. We discover her bag never makes it to the destination! We now scramble in the city to buy the things she needs for camp! Upon trying to make a claim for the nearly $1000 worth of items missing, we discover that the Hawaii clerk places a "$0" on the contents of the bag. Also, FEDEX will only reimburse you $100 for any items list if you do not ask for coverage. Horrible customer service! Was expecting a package yesterday, never showed up. Looked online and no info updated outside of leaving IN. I checked this am on the website; shows delivery date went from yesterday to 'NA'! I called customer service to see what the heck is going on. Representative contacts the dispatch, comes back and tells me: 'oh they tried contacting you - but you didn't respond'. I asked what form they used to contact me: couldn't say - info not available. Oh all delivery trucks were out, I could pick it up at the office or wait til Monday. I told the representative I have caller ID. No phone call on house phone, cell phone, hubby's cell phone or either of our e-mails was done by the company. Well that's what we show - and hangs up on me. I call customer service again; representative tells me he can't do anything about it. I'm stuck with fetching it myself or waiting til Monday. So, someone decides to make a business decision without my consent, nor properly informing me of such decision so they didn't have to actually work on delivering on time. 'Sorry for the inconvenience.' Really? You gonna back up some employees false claim they attempted to contact me when they never did, oh and just shrug it off like who cares! Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE service. Drivers are so lazy and never attempt to get out of their truck or come knock at the door. I've had packages missing, damaged, and delayed for 3-4 days. It's a headache dealing with them on the phone, because they don't have a local number and have you deal with an off island call center. There's no way to directly call them and you have to go out of your way to lagoon drive just to speak with someone local. If I had a choice for my online orders I'd choose USPS. They retain their employees and I know my mail lady comes through with my packages the first time all the time. Btw UPS is junk as well. read more

Unpredictable service lately. I used to be an almost daily customer at one time and they gave awesome service. But lately I've been getting less than satisfactory service. On serveral occations I found my purchases (like DVDs and computer equipment) hanging on my mailbox in CLEAR plastic bags for everyone on my busy street to drive by and figure out if they wanted it! Worse yet, it's obvious that my house is more than 130 feet away from my mailbox and out of sight. Duh. If the were some way to leave negative stars, I would have made this rating a -5 !!! 3 days in a row I have been sitting in my 1-bedroom condo. I have been alone, reading or messing on the computer, the front door wide open. Each and every day I have stepped outside I have discovered a "Door Tag" from FedEx on my door telling me they have attempted delivery and will try again. Nobody has ever knocked or announced they were at the door. I have had the 97-year old lady from 2 condos down the walk come to my door and ask if she could have a couple eggs and she is extremely soft spoken and I heard her at the door. Today was the 3rd Door Tag in as many days and it was marked "Final Attempt." I hopped in my car and fought lousy Honolulu rush hour traffic to get to the FedEx service counter adjacent to Honolulu Airport on Lagoon Drive. Door Tags in hand I approached the counter and after waiting for 3 different customer service persons to finish yakking, giggling and texting (I was the only apparent customer in the waiting area) a woman approached the counter and in a very demeaning tone asked me what I needed. I politely showed her all 3 Door Tags and politely explained that I was home and sitting no further than 20-feet from the opened front door. She looked on the computer and told me... "You must not have been home. That tag was left yesterday and your package was returned to the sender." I don't understand how this outfit stays in business with such lousy delivery personnel and horrible customer service! AVOID FEDEX AT ALL COSTS !!! read more

Seriously, don't think they even care about yet another one star review, but here it goes...I ordered something that didn't require a signature and the day it was due to arrive I came home and there was nothing at my door. This was strange because we've had things shipped with them in the past and we usually don't have delivery problems as we live in a gated building with 24 hour security. After checking the app I confirmed that there was an attempted delivery but it was not left because no one was home. I called and they didn't know why it wasn't left, my not being there shouldn't have been an issue, and they confirmed that no signature was required. A note was put on the account for it to be left the next day by request of the recipient. Again no package, again phone calls to the tune of hours of time for apologies and another note. Third day, same story. At this point we just said that we would pick it up at this Fed Ex station and they told us to get there after four. We did, but we got different stories from the in-person employees. They told us that they have the discretion not to leave my package, regardless of my request, if they don't deem my house accessible or safe enough (again strange since we've shipped with them in the past and we are gated with 24 hour security). They told us that the package wasn't actually available at the station even though it was after four and that everything we've been told on the phone was wrong because they are a contracted third party company and that they couldn't help us. We were advised to make the hour drive from where we live again the next day and it might be there but if it wasn't that it was being sent back due to a 5 day holding limit. Basically, no accountability, no customer service, and no f$&@s to give, so again...doubt they even care about another one star review. We were finally able to get the package (with some additional attitude and non-service) the next night, thankfully. I have a package that is coming from France. It is shipped by TNT. Fedex is buying TNT so Fedex handles all of TNT shipments. The Fedex main line 800-558-5555 and both of the customer service representatives told me that they knew what I was talking about. One told me that the package had arrived on island and had cleared customs. I called the 24 hour number: 800-463-3339 and the guy that answered didn't know what TNT was and he kept telling me they did not have the tracking number I was giving him. What a Dumb...t. In the future I will send and receive(If I can) from someone else like UPS instead of Fedex. I'm just guessing that the delivery folks can't read. read more

I too would give no stars if at all possible. My husband and I are waiting on furniture for our nursery. FedEx reported that 3 delivery attempts were made for our packages. A delivery slip was left on our door for the first delivery attempt - we signed the slip and left it on the door as instructed. The second slip was left on our mailbox - instead of coming up to our apartment to check to see if we had signed the slip. Again, we signed the second slip and left it on our door as instructed. The third slip was left on the outside of the apartment complex - no attempts at calling us were made. When we called FedEx to explain the situation, we were told that the furniture was extremely heavy (about 200#) ......what does that have anything to do with our packages being delivered? That there was no possible way that they would redeliver the items. We would need to pick up the packages personally from the carrier facility - my husband and I do not have a car which is the main reason for having these packages delivered in the first place. The service rep ended up hanging up on my husband. After two additional attempts to contact FedEx - and two denied requests at redelivery - our 200# of nursery furniture is being sent back to the mainland - amazon.com was gracious enough to eat the shipping costs. For the record, UPS and USPS had no trouble send all of our other furniture to us on time. I am still waiting on my husband's father's day present - which was due to be delivered 5 days ago. Shame on you FedEx for your embarassing standards - sellers, if you're shipping anything from the mainland to Hawaii - DO NOT USE FEDEX, you'll end up getting burned. read more

I too, had an experience like Spencer M. It happened twice with me. No attempt or notice of attempt. I actually saw the driver leave without getting out of the van the first time as I was waiting in my apartment. Wow! The reason for the 2 stars is because when I called the support center and emailed them, both times they quickly replied back and made sure that I got my packages. I hate picking up my packages from this location. The last time I was there, there was one worker and about ten of us in line. Dont waste your time coming to this location. First off there's only 3 people allowed in at a time and understand that. But how is a person to know how many people are inside if u don't step up and peek in when the doors open because the windows are tinted. They act like you are asking them to reach in their wallet and loan you 100 dollars any time you ask for help or service. Your package could have been shipped to their facility days ago, but if it's not scheduled for delivery today, they won't let you have it. Mine's been there since Saturday (its tuesday now). I just had amazing customer service. The delivery driver Mike on the evening shift downtown Honolulu attempted to deliver at my office which was closed. He went above and beyond and called me on my cell phone to try and figure out if I was close by. I was not close by but he was willing to wait for me to drive all the way from Ewa Beach to downtown Honolulu to pick up my packages. He was willing to take a break and wait for me to meet him. That is way above and beyond any customer service I have had with a package delivery company. I have to say, UPS has renewed my faith in package delivery companies out here in Hawaii. I am so used to receiving packages that are beat up or not receiving the package is all. UPS was amazing today. More importantly Mike Wright at UPS was amazing today. read more

On June 19, 2022 our baseball team used FedEx to ship up player and team equipment to Reno Nevada. We paid for 2 separate parcels, 2 day shipping to the Fedex post at the hotel we were staying at, and bought the insurance. On June 23, 2022 we arrived to the hotel and visited Fedex store front to pick up our shipment. Only 1 of 2 parcels were available. The Fedex service agent tracked out 2nd parcel and it was noted that it was at their hub in Missouri. We kept checking in with Fedex daily to get any updates on our missing parcel and they assured us that we would have it soon. We checked out of the hotel on July 1st and they still didn't have our parcel, they couldn't give us updates as to where it was, no one could answer our questions, we were left having to pay additional dollars out of pocket to replace the missing equipment, mind you there was $4,500 worth of missing equipment. Families and the team had to make additional purchases so that their child could play in the tournament. It is now August 8, 2022 and after 3 weeks of making the claim and following their directives. We are still without answers, updates and reimbursement from this company. Families are patiently waiting and our community organized team has yet been able to replace all the missing equipment for future practices and games. I highly recommend not doing business with company as they ignore update request, communication and avoiding to reimburse our financial claim. read more

05.17.19, 2:15 HST FedEx truck, license T21148, arrives at Waialae Place apts for a delivery, almost at end of Waialae Ave, before it turns into King St. Driver parks half on sidewalk, half on road...& in the crosswalk...hindering traffic & pedestrians. WTH? And it is exactly as described. I saw the driver get out with a long, rectangular box, & head into the building...& she saw the cars having to stop & drive around the truck...& she leaves the truck parked across traffic, blocking the crosswalk. I called the local FedEx office, but was told to call 1-800-FedEx for driver concerns. I call 1-800-FedEx, voice my concerns, then get transferred & put on hold for what seems like a long time. Very poor service on contacting there customers about when there packages arrive at there facility I waited almost 2 months for my package waiting for it to be delivered at my home. So I went to the main warehouse in Honolulu to ask about my status about my package and the lady tells me they sent it back because they only hold it for 5 days!!! There was no email sent to me or a text or a call to come pick it up!!! If I fucking knew they weren't gonna deliver it to my house and to pick it up and the main office then there wouldn't be a problem. Absolutely nobody from fedex notified me that my package was ready to be picked up from the MAIN facility, So this whole time I thought that they'll deliver it to my house but they didn't I waited 2 months only for them to tell me that they sent it back Next time CALL or EMAIL your customers to notify them that there package arrived and is ready to be pick up ONLY at the facility or else it will be sent back within 5 days read more

I have called FedEx customer service twice and emailed, today will be the fifth time, on why my package was marked as delivered, but it wasn't! They keep telling me to contact the shipper - Really?!
