Failed to deliver twice, then wasted hours picking up a package that I needed yesterday. Lost $300 and no compensation offered.

Shipped some art work from Honolulu to the mainland. We packaged the material, but used excessive padding and bubble wrap and marked the box FRAGILE and THIS END UP to prevent the picture from being placed on it's side. Received the package with a huge imprint of a circular object placed on the FRAGILE marking. Needless to say, the contents were heavily damaged. A koa wood paddle was broken. Koa is so strong that the TSA classifies it as a weapon and does not allow it to be brought into the airplane cabin. They managed to break even this! FEDEX denied any responsibility. NEVER ship anything delicate with these folks. They will pack their airplanes as quickly and tightly as possible and ignore any warnings on the packaging. The staff at the drop off center were very friendly, and assured us that everything looked fine. They meant well, but the results didn't live up to their wishes. read more

I saw the reviews on Google, not that I had a choice because this is where my package defaulted to, but I was very skeptical and on guard when coming here. I'm not sure how dated the reviews are, but I was welcomed right into the door. The employee behind the counter was waiting there and waved to me before I even got inside. I was helped right away, and had no issues with the customer service at all. As I read some of the other views, it seems as though some folks were upset about things out of FEDEX control. For the life of me, I can't remember the girl that was "helping" me...but she was far from friendly. I came in to mail out a box to CA...line was long as usual and I reached the front of the line 2 mins before the cut off time. She was obviously irritated...maybe cause they were so busy?? Idk. She made me feel like I was such an inconvenience to her. She even dropped a pen on my side of the counter and I picked it up, gave it back to her ... And I didn't even get a thank you. Sheesh. As i sit here waiting on a delivery lady that according to counter dude was supossed to be here 30mins ago, i listened to 3 people go thru wat i went thru over a course of 4days. 2 bullshit door tags (i was home the whole day expecting this high cost package), and not updated trackers. EL OWE EL. fedex is a joke... if u can avoid it, do it. It will save u time, stress, and possibly money. Oh, and if u call, ur talkin to someone in the mainland that has nooooo idea wats going on. This place is garbage! My package arrived and was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, then they rescheduled it for Friday, and now for a saturday. Each time I called they said it would be delivered on time. I called the local office and they tell me to call the 1800 number. I don't understand how this place still gets business. read more

Absolute trash. I was sitting at home waiting for my mail knowing that it required a signature. My housemates and neighbors were all available as well. Delivery driver didn't even bother to knock on any doors or try to made contact. All I find is a stupid door tag that says my mail will be available for pick up after 7. What a coincidence that this Fed Ex location closes at right 7. SO when exactly am I allowed to pick it up?? Are they going to try again and pull that same crap tomorrow? who knows. read more

Terrible service. A package was shipped priority over night containing items essential for my work which I was assured over the phone I could acquire today: The service attendant was unable to find the package even though it had been scanned into the facility earlier in the morning and tried to quit looking multiple times during the 45 minutes she claimed to be looking for the package. I told her that it was shipped overnight for a reason and I needed the items no later than Monday morning and she advised me to come back Monday afternoon if I wanted continued help. read more

I've dealt with FedEx for over 5 years as a small internet-based business owner. We work with both FedEx and their FedEx ground service division. Every item that we have ever shipped in or out with them has been delivered on time without problems. If they have a delivery for me with an addressing issue, which has happened a few times, they call me to confirm my information. The drivers are always polite, and people at the Shipping center downtown have always been helpful, if you're polite to them. The only reason I give them a 4 is because they offer different shipping rates to my overseas trading partners than they offer me. Same package weight, same travel distance, vastly different pricing. read more

Automatic door remains open when waiting line only has a few people in it. They should route the line so this doesn't happen. Nice staff! Very friendly, but when It's busy they dont staff the counter with enough people. Still, they've always treated me quickly and with a very professional attitude. read more

I dread when vendors send packages via FedEx. Maybe other locations are better but the Honolulu Airport FedEx, noting I finally got someone to answer the phone locally and they sent me back to the 800 #. Have had several occasions when a package was "at the facility" on the scheduled delivery date, but don't assume it will be on the truck or you can have it held for pickup that day... or that you can call and get the actual status. UPS gets everything to me faster with better customer service and goes out of their way to get it delivered on time. I have no problem with FedEx in general or the drivers, seems just to be the management or lack of initiative at this particular facility. read more

I don't really write reviews, but this got me so upset and frustrated!!!! I am waiting for my shipment and was supposed to be delivered 9/25, but I had called to have it routed to the fedex store in pear city, I then later got an email later in the day that it will be delivered to my home on 9/28, I have called fedex customer service and all they can say that it was going to be delivered on 9/28, well 9/28 came on gone and still no box. I called this morning (9/29) and asked to talk to the fedex warehouse in Hawaii and finally they called me back and said that my box is missing. I was furious and gave them an ear full. I asked them how can they lose a box and only now tell me now and notice that my box is lost. I had to call the shipper and they are investigating and I also filled a claim with fedex and told them that I feel someone stole my box. The sad part it was a gift for my sons birthday. Standing in line for 15 minutes can hear ladies laughing and talking about babies in the back. One clerk working. It's 330 pm and several employees walk by and do nothing. We all have jobs and appointments but apparently customer service at FedEx is one clerk. There are 8 people in line and 4 ahead of me and none have moved in 15 minutes. If my company didn't require FedEx I wouldn't come back here again. This is the norm here not the exception. read more

Tracked a package that I was waiting for and it said delivered to front door, no signature required. I was home all day with a full view of my front door. No FEDEX driver came to my door. Filed an inquiry with FEDEX and they investigated. According to their investigations, the driver cannot recall the delivery and now I need to file a claim with the shipper. How can a driver not recall where he delivered my box to???? I am so disappointed, the item was a special order item and limited in quantity. Now they are out of stock and will not have that item again. So very aggravated with FEDEX. When UPS delivers to my door with contactless delivery, they yell UPS package so that I know he is dropping off. Did not get a verbal confirmation or visual confirmation from FEDEX. I believe the driver delivered to the wrong address and just does not want to be at fault. Will request to use UPS instead of FEDEX in the future read more

I can't believe the kind of service I got From FedEx. First, they keep trying to deliver my package during the day...Duh, I'm not home. I'm at work. So, I try to find a way I can let them know when would be a good time to deliver. Their app and website not working. After 3 days in a row of unsuccessful delivery, they make me come pick it up. You would think they could just look up your name and address. Nope, said my package not there. I asked if they could locate where it is. They couldn't. I went to the other FedEx a few blocks down. They were more helpful. Said it was at the FedEx I just left. When I went back to the other FedEx, they said the address didn't have a dash in it so it didn't show up. Uh, shouldn't they have been able to locate it by looking up my name? What a waste of time. They need to improve their system. UPS is the way to go! read more

I stood waiting in line for 40 minutes! Ridiculous! I felt bad for the old couple that stood behind me waiting just as long. The line was so long that people were standing out the door, and they only had 3 people at the counter. I thought ups was slow until I came to FedEx. I dread coming here to pick up my packages. TERRIBLE customer service. If a woman is there that is older, blonde hair with a bang, don't let her talk to you any kind of way. Her (in particular's) customer service is terrible. I had parked quickly while my wife was in the car in the handicapped parking just to drop off something and leave. This employee was standing outside smoking a cigarette and i had to wait for her to be done to service me. When she came in she didn't greet or anything but said with an attitude "do you have a handicap decal sticker on your car?" I said no and that im just dropping off and in a hurry and she says "you STILL are in a handicap STALLL and not allowed" now granted i am wrong and definitely aware and i also know that 1. Smoking is prohibited within 50 feet of a building 2. If there is a problem with a customer, they dont get talked down too and lastly, you never demand for a customer to say thank you or you're welcome before they can get it out themselves. This lady clearly has some issues and I regret not spending one extra minute on explaining to her her rude behaviors. read more

No stars at all. Fedex failed to deliver a second package to the proper address, citing some policy the I was never informed of. That Walgreens does not receive wine. They do. Thirty minutes on hold, custormer service losers refuse to transfer to a manager or supervisor, then they hang up. Called back and was told to call the local office. No answer at local office which then leaves a message to call the mainland off that just gave me a hard time. NEVER USE FEDEX! Guaranteed to fail! read more

The shipping this location provides is atrocious. It's so frustrating, and the employees so inadequate, that I made this profile just so I could spread the word. If you live locally and you're thinking about paying extra for any form of expedited shipping, I'd strongly recommend against it. Basically, if you rely on this location to get packages, you have to go pick them up, and that process itself a massive pain. save yourself the trouble and use UPS. We gave an envelope to the FedEx center at the Honolulu airport on July 11, to be delivered to Guam. To ship an envelope weighing less than 1 pound, they charged us $117. They said that it would take 5 days to get to Guam! It has now been 7 days and the envelope is in Anchorage, Alaska!!! Trying to get any information from the customer service number is worthless. They told me that they would look into the matter and get back to me by the end of the day. That was yesterday, and they never got back to me today, so I called them. I told them that, if they can't deliver it, just bring it back to us and give us our $117 back. The agent said they could send it back to us Express, but that they would deduct that cost from what they would owe us, which would mean we would get nothing. I told him to deliver the envelope to Guam and forget about us ever using FedEx again. The Post Office will deliver a copy of everything by Tuesday for $7.00. FedEx can KMA!!! read more

Kamehameha Highway in Kaneohe - FedEx repeated fail. Today we watched the tracking status of a package change from "on truck for delivery" to "Customer unavailable for delivery" while our office was open, cars in the parking lot and someone sitting OUT FRONT ON A BENCH waiting for the truck, which never even pulled into the driveway. Last week a similar experience: driver did pull in, but left a missed delivery slip on nearby door unrelated to our office, despite the sign clearly marking the office. Why pay for FedEx delivery only to have packages delayed by incompetence? read more

Due to a mixup with my address, my package got delivered to this location...it was a package from my mother, who couldn't find the tracking number, so I went in to see how they could help. I was greeted by Maria (I believe that was her name...I'm horrible with names ) who was very helpful, despite the fact I didn't have my tracking number...she went above and beyond to locate the package and after about an hour of searching, she found it! My sister paid for next day guarantee shipping to my house because she lives on Molokai and her things wouldn't ship to Molokai and she would be on Oahu for 4 days. The shipment NEVER came the first 2 days so we finally call and the office said there were multiple attempts to deliver but it's a straight up lie. We were there all day and during the time they said they attempted to deliver and NO ATTEMPT SLIP WAS LEFT.... no one called us... we've had to do the work to see where the package was. One time we called the office and the lady told us there was an aattempt to deliver then rudely hung up on us. I finally go down to the office on Saturday and they said they're closed and wouldn't get the package. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. FedEx needs to check their workers. Their drivers aren't making deliveries and lying about attempting to deliver and their workers on the phone and in the office are extremely rude. No aloha. Horrible service. I was expecting a package and it never showed up. I called the company that shipped it to me and they said they would contact FedEx. Four days later I got a call from a really rude woman who kept telling me that the package was in fact delivered and I was WRONG that it had never showed up. I tried to explain to her that my home is on a busy street and had they left it outside it had probably gotten stolen. "The world on time". I think not. In this day and age, when people pay a premium for shipping, I expect my item on time. I am now on day 4, waiting on a package soon to be day 5. Now, when I used the website to track my package, I saw nothing. When I called multiple times, I kept getting told different answers. I was told my package would arrive from 7am to 10 pm. How is it we cannot come to a reasonable idea of when a truck will be in the area? I think that is ludicrous. I used to be a delivery driver and could give you an estimate within an hour of what I said, and I covered 3 districts in Las Vegas. After my recent conversation with customer service and being given a nice dish of sir sandwiches and apologies, I asked for the direct line to the office I would get my package shipped to. Well, never got that, as well. This company has FAILED to meet their promise and I feel I should be reimbursed the ENTIRE SHIPPING COST. I would NEVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS RECOMMEND FEDEX FOR SHIPPING ANYTHING, not even a letter to hell because lucifer would not receive it. All in all, do not use them. Go to USPS, UPS, DHL. The worst service. They sent a perishable package to the wrong address. Then a driver came to the correct address, but did t have my packages. He just came to the office to find out the correct address and then told me to go pick it up at lagoon drive. I went to the location and they said they never heard of it or seen the packages. The person at the desk was rude and had pearcing in his lip. So tacky. (This happened 6-23-14 afternoon) I was furious because no one wanted to help me. Especially if the driver came to my shop to tell me to go get the package there. The next day, I go online and check the tracking number and it's at the lagoon drive location. I go back and give them the tracking number. Oh we got to go find the package. This is horrible because the product needs to be refrigerated after being in the cooler. These products were supposed to go to my client, which could now have degradation and lose me business. The sad thing is that at my old job I had similar issues with the lazy staff at FedEx. Not to mention the outsource their phone service to some bad accent international person. Horrible! read more

The employee that delivered to my house stole my packages. They say it was delivered but it was not as someone was home all day. I live at the end of a private road where everyone knows everyone and can't see it from the street. If it doesn't require a signature confirmation the employees will take it. Fed ex refused to refund me or reimburse me for their fault of delivery. I had to contact the shipper which I had to argue the point just to get it put on a gift card. From now on I put a camera in my garage and sending all my packages to a FedEx location for pick up. They need to check their workers because I can guarantee you they steal packages. All they have to do is drive past the house and the scanner will go off. That means they "delivered". FedEx delivers to a Walgreens. if I were you I'd pick it up there. They acted like it was stolen. Asking me to ask my neighbors if they have it... they would have brang it over dummies.. Make sure you get signature confirmation or send it to a Walgreens or hold it at the post office. Don't trust these jerks. If I didn't have to ship through them I wouldn't. I'd pay extra to ship with anyone else if I could. And to the fed ex worker who took my stuff what goes around comes around buddy you going get yours someday.... hope you feel better knowing this was a Xmas present for an 11 year old loser... read more
