Their customer service is a joke! We had package delivery to our house by FedEx and FedEx couldn't figure out where our house was since it is a new community, though UPS and UPSP already got our address put into their systems all right. Now when we called their 800 number so that we could have them deliver our package to the right location, they couldn't help us get in contact with the driver or anybody who actually works on the island at all. They kept saying the hour for Oahu location was 8AM-10AM and we have to call the 800 number again to get transfered to a person on the island. That's 2 business hours and anybody works in daytime is screwed. We decided to just drive to the shipment center ourselves to find out where the package was. A middle aged big white lady with glasses (unfortunately she didn't have a name tag) at this FedEx Express was rude. As soon as my husband started to read the tracking number like 2 letters into it, she was like "Nope!!" and shut him down. So we proceeded to show the tracking number on our cellphone and she bluntly told us it's at FedEx ground. We asked her about them not being able to find our house, and her response was pretty much "well I can't help you"....sounded more like "I don't give a shit" to me. Thank God people at FedEx ground were much nicer than those at FedEx Express. It took them a while but they found our package. One of the drivers told us that they now know where the new community is and can deliver packages no problem. While I appreciate him saying so, I don't think I would ever use FedEx again, at least not by my choice. read more

I am not looking forward to having to pick up my parcel from here. It wasn't my choice to use FedEx and I'm hoping the experience will be positive. I had a delivery that was supposed to be in Thursday 8/11/2022 but no one was home as we all work and the kids are in school. Delivery was at 1pm. They came again today at 1229, and it was the same scenario...people are working. This package needs to be signed so I need to go down today otherwise risk missing the final delivery on Monday. I don't like to give out low ratings on yelp BUT this place deserves a zero (actually, fedex in general). My company sent me a replacement computer with next day delivery (I don't use fedex myself but I'm sure it's pricey since we are in Hawaii). Was supposed to receive the package on Saturday however, after speaking to fedex support, I was told it would be Monday.. which is understandable cause everyone is understaffed due to covid. However, I waited all day at home for my package. There was no update to whether the package left the facilities until after 5pm when there was an "attempted" delivery at 4:59. I didn't receive a notice whether the package is out for delivery or that someone is "attempting" to deliver my computer. I checked the tracking and was told my package is back at the facilities. Frustrated, I called fedex and had customer support hang up on me 3x within an hour. Then, when requesting an email to submit a complaint cause fuck fedex makes it nearly impossible to talk to.. they proceed to give me a fake email. Worst customer service ever. Complained to company and they condone that type service because of a locked gate and no signature required. Think about that. Waiting for a package here at home ALL day. Driver even had my husband's phone number. We live in a condo and SOMEhow the delivery driver got into our secured building, left the delivery tag on the WALL by our door and did NOT even knock to check if we were home! We also have a big door knocker clearly visible on the door. And we live in a studio apt so it's easy to hear a knock at the front door, not like we're in another room or another floor. I understand it's the holiday season and delivery/ postal svcs/ etc staff are probably overworked and understaffed. There may be good staff out there I'm certain. But this worker was obviously just inconsiderate, irresponsible & lazy - absolutely NO effort to reach us & do his/her job. If you call the main phone you get the automated system. We managed to reach a real person & was told they have no way to contact the driver to come back with our package and delivery will be "attempted" again tomorrow. Apparently driver said "they tried" ... so how do they know what he said if they can't contact him??! Complete B.S. with this company & this has happened before where they "attempted" to deliver a package - which they DIDN'T, same situation as described above - and we had to drive a long way to the main office here to pick it up. My son sent me a shipment from OmahaSteaks for my birthday and Thanksgiving. He emailed me that the steaks pkg would arrive Wednesday 12.04.19. I followed the tracking option and the pkg was at the Honolulu distribution center since Wednesday 12.4.19. The pkg was finally delivered 12.06.19 at 8:15 p.m. The delivery label shows that it was to be delivered in two days from 12.02.19. The Styrofoam container was stained, one of the steak boxes that I checked is wet, the steaks are bloody, soft and questionably edible. I emailed my son to file a complaint and get his money back. I suggest you avoid using FedEx to deliver frozen foods if you want timely delivery and solid frozen food to be delivered to the recipient. read more

As I was waiting for my package to get delivered, I saw the FedEx truck at Kapolei Walmart, back door cracked open, with my package at the edge where someone could've stolen it. I called to have my package held at this facility and was told very specifically by the customer service rep that it wasn't going to be put on the delivery truck so I could pick it up the next day. I drove 30 minutes to get there only for the man (with a slight attitude) at the desk to say that there were no instructions about holding my package and that it's out for delivery AGAIN. Such a disappointing experience. I paid for the Fedex Express, just to find out that my package was delivered to a wrong address then returned to the Fedex Ship Center in Honolulu. I called Fedex 5 times and I was told that the package could not be located anywhere. Then, five days later I get a phone call at 8pm, telling me that my package awaits me at the Fedex Ship Center in Honolulu and if I won't pick it up immediately, it will return back to the sender. I politely asked if they could attempt delivering it to my address since they misdelievered it in the first place, but they refused. I regularly pay around three HUNDRED dollars at a time to ship cases of wine to the islands. 2 day air and temperature sensitive. The driver was too LAZY to bring the shipment up my driveway and LIED saying I was not available. I was home all day and my correct phone number was listed. They made no attempt to contact me. Instead dropped it off at a FedEx/kinkos for ME to PICK UP. There are many others out there who need work. Apparently my driver does not feel him/her need to work that hard at doing the most BASIC of jobs. Fulfilling a high value and time and temperature shipment. You should quit or be fired. Let someone else who is not quite so pathetically lazy do the job instead. You don't deserve the pay. Numerous complaints are being filed. Lies and laziness. if I could rate them 0 stars , I totally would . I sent a package for overnight shipping through fedex and it got there 3 days late . It was fresh flowers . I tried to file a claim online and it didn't work . I called them and told them the issue I was having . They told me that it's too early to file a claim and that I needed to wait a week in order for my info to go into the system and I can try again . I waited exactly a week and tried again . It once again didn't work . so I called them AGAIN and this time they told me I have to go to the location I sent the package . I said I was on a trip to Colorado and will not be back for another 5 days. As soon as I landed , I drove to the FedEx I sent my package from as soon as they opened and waited in line for 20 minutes . Then the lady who is helping me tells me they don't handle claims there and that I have to do it over the phone. So I went in my truck and called FedEx AGAIN for the third time now and told them my situation . They told me that I can't get a refund because it's been over 15 days . it's been 23 days now . And all this time I been trying to get my refund since the day it said it was a late delivery . My refund was for $186 ... and now I lost all that $ because fedex absolutely sucks and will not take accountability. I've tried non stop to get this refund and kept getting rerouted to something else , so much so that it costs me almost $200, my time , and has to go to the original place I sent my package from . FedEx bites. You leave notes at the call box stating that the callbox doesn't work and to please call xxx so we can come down and accept the package. Instead, they just leave a slip saying they missed you. It's like you didn't even try to get in contact with us. They are nothing like UPS. Ups they call and let us know they are there. Or on some occasions, if you leave a note stating that you won't be home till a certain time, they call you and let you know that they'll probably still be in the area and they can swing by later. I was so appreciative when UPS did that. FedEx will never do that. One time I saw a FedEx driver walk to the building with no packages and just leave slips. Then moments later I haot a message saying package delayed no one to receive mail. Yet I was right there. I contacted FedEx and they did nothing about it. read more

Someone was at home all day long to receive "signature required " parcel, again costing $68. No one knocked, no doorbell. Driver returned the following day, as I reported the discrepancy. After missing the delivery at home. The delivery lady called me up to say that I could pick up my package at their location. Helpful with providing the address and giving me the tracking number, along with their hours for Saturday. I wasn't sure where to go so I had directions written down. Took a while on Lagoon Drive but eventually found it. I mean you can't miss the Fed Ex logos, trucks, signs etc. There were some stalls in the parking lot but I wasn't sure where I could or couldn't park. I chose the first one I could get into. It's kind of small. A few others were there getting ready to delivery / hand over the counter to the workers. At the time I walked in there was only one worker, who was helping someone and another person in front of me. From the back another worker came out and he helped me. I had my post it with the tracking number and headed it to him. He quickly looked it up and headed to the back to the get my package. He had some trouble though with his scanner since I had to sign twice but that's okay. I was quickly out of there after. I checked my berries once I was at the car. The ice pack was melted. When I got home the strawberries looked and tasted fine, though I personally am not a strawberry person. My mom enjoys it though lol. read more

I just got off the phone with FEDEX Customer Support. For the SECOND TIME in ONE week, FEDEX driver has reported that our package was "refused by customer" when no attempt was even made to deliver the package. My wife and I were getting tracking notifications and waiting for a package that we needed before going out of town. Earlier this week, a FEDEX driver claimed that I refused delivery of a blazer I have ordered. Lucky for me, I caught her in time to call customer service and have her turn around. This driver had the gall to call me and ask me to meet her on the street so she could just hand me the package. Getting a package by FEDEX continues to be a significant NEGATIVE emotional experience for my wife and I. It takes so much energy just to get your package delivered that we are now avoiding vendors that use FEDEX for their delivery. This is the second time I used Fed Ex for delivery and they haven't disappointed me. The standard delivery took 2 days and the overnight was exactly that. I was really surprised because I took my package in around 4pm and they received it in Oakland the next day at 11am. Tracking the package using the Fed Ex app is so easy to use. First off i want to thank KAUI (I believe that's her name) whom I assume works in dispatching. She helped me get my package delivered quickly, her and the driver deserve 5 star rating, but I am giving it a 1 star due to what I experienced. First off, my package was suppose to be delivered yesterday (MONDAY 7/24/2018) but on Sunday I got a email saying there was a delivery date change and it would be delivered on TUESDAY (7/25/2018) which I DID NOT MAKE THAT CHANGE. I called FEDEX customer service and I told them to please have someone call me when they are here because I have a gate n my house is a little further away from the fence and I won't be able to hear the delivery person. They said okay and took down my number and stated that they will have that note in there and will have the driver call me when they are here or almost here. Well today is Tuesday and I did not get a phone call but I got a email saying delivery was attempted but I did not get a call when the delivery person was here. I waited outside all day but did not see anybody at all come by, except for FEDEX EXPRESS; but my package was FEDEX GROUND. So I called the local fedex office and a guy name Jake I believe answered and I told him "I'm not sure who I talk to but I called customer Service to have the driver call me when they are here n customer service stated they had put that note in the delivery notes." He then stated "Drivers don't call people and idk who you talked to but you can call customer service." Like did you not hear what I just said? So I hung up. I called customer service, spoke with a girl whom I forgot her name and repeated my story. Stated that at 256pm, my order was suppose to be delivered but I got a email stating they will attempt to deliver tomorrow(WEDNESDAY) and that I did not get a call like I asked. She said "yea your gonna have to wait till tomorrow." So I said well then what's the point of me giving my number for the driver to call me. Waste of my time." I asked her to forward me to the office which she did and that's when M Kaui helped me. I told Kaui about Jake & how I gave my number to customer service to call me. She said she will contact the driver and see if the driver can come back and I told her I will not be on the island tomorrow so if he can't turn around I can meet him or something because she stated he is still in waianae. Within 10minutes later, the fedex ground person came back and I got my package. All in all, thank you so much Kaui or being so nice over the phone and contacting the driver because customer service said they can't contact the local office nor the driver but yet somehow managed to contact dispatch at the local office. Also thank you so very much to the delivery driver, i didn't get his name but I was told he is new. He was a Caucasian male. Thank you for coming back to deliver my package, i appreciate it so very much. Kaui and the driver deserve 5 stars. Oh, do I have a story to tell! I was expecting a package shipped by 2nd Day Air. Mind you, it's already two days late. I received an email at 12:23 PM saying my package is delayed again because the driver attempted a delivery but no one was at home. Oh, FEDEX driver, the tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive. Let me count the ways: 1) I was home all day waiting for my package; 2) Laughably, it did not even require a signature; 3) My security cameras and alarms did not alert me; 4) My house was very quiet, no loud music, nothing to keep me from hearing a knock on the door; 5) No one rang my doorbell. I called their office and after going through the annoying menus, repeatedly said "representative" and I was finally connected to a gentleman and reported their dishonest driver caught in a lie, actually a multitude of lies. My shipper had also called to report the dishonest driver, so a case had already been created. He said he would escalate the case AND that I would receive my package today. He sounded believable, though insincere, BUT, here I am sitting at home at 8:10 PM AND NO PACKAGE!!! I've given up all hope, and this extremely frustrating experience has led me to conclude FEDEX is nothing but a bunch of flakes! Tomorrow, I will call the shipper to ask for a refund and order from a company who doesn't use FEDEX. I will tell everyone I know - so, if you have a choice of delivery companies AVOID FEDEX AT ALL COSTS!!! Read the reviews above and below this one. Yesterday 3 people were at home, delivery notification says no one home and a door tag was left. No door tag to be seen on any doors. Today, the only reason I figured someone was at the door was because I here a "beep" outside. No knock on the door, no doorbell rung. I look outside and the female Fedex driver is half way down the driveway. Get to the door and there is an envelope on the wet garage floor. I have had to go to this location several times in a few years and every time has been a problem. I was returning a box with an old part in it, new part came put old part in and send it back. Had the Fed Ex label already. First thing they said oh it might be too heavy. I showed the label. Then I had to put the unit on the scale 140 pounds then got told the box is not in good enough condition need a new box. This is a special box. I had to ask them to write a note so I can send it to the manufacturer since I will be charged if I do not return it. I asked if they have a box or what can I do. Was told you need a new box from them and then we can take it we only ship new boxes. This is ridiculous, the only reason I had to go there is that is what the return label was for.
