This place is a NoNoNo. You don't want to pay $419 to ship a package and get sacked by the guys here knows nothing about how to handle the shipping procedures and educate their customers to comply with the customs rules. Fedex guy just ran and put the sticker on my door and left. I went to the station and explained whole situation but they didn't do anything. I lost my contract because of their fucking delivery guy. Went in here to drop a package off. Apparently this place has a bunch of stupid rules, like what tape they want you to use on packages and that you need to affix your label the way they want. Absolutely, positively don't care if you package is delivered on time. The commitment was for it to be delivered by 12noon, paid international priority rates. You would think they'd be on it but no, they load it on a truck at 10:36am and absolutely commit to not delivering it. They have zero ability to even estimate the delivery. Are you kidding me? There is tons of electronic options but gee, we don't know, it will be delivered sometime, don't know when, but it will we promise . . .have a wonderful day! Can you help with the refund? I use this FedEx Center as my go-to drop off station and have never had any bad experience with the staff - probably because I don't interact with them at all. When you walk in and look to your left, there's a metal conveyor belt where you can just drop off packages willy nilly which is great for people who are in a rush and trying to meet the FedEx cut-off times which are posted on their website. Also great for people who just hate other people. So why leave a 3 star review? One day, I went on a Saturday at around 5:30 to drop off a package. The store was closed but I thought, "no problem, I'll just drop it off in the drop off box right outside of the store and it should go out later tonight". On their website, located here: https://local.fedex.com/ca/irvine/NZJA/, the posted cut-off time for Western Overlay shipments is 8:00 PM even on Saturday. Being the paranoid person I was, I called FedEx to confirm this package would go out Saturday night. They said there are no pickups from their drop-box on Saturdays. I got this same answer from 3 FedEx reps so it was obvious their website was wrong; they never acknowledged the error on their website and basically told me that I was "seeing things" because their system showed a 5:00 PM cut-off on Saturdays. Just to confirm I'm not a crazy person (at least regarding this matter) I took a screenshot of their website for the sake of posterity. I emailed FedEx and even spoke to a higher-up at FedEx who said they all would "look into it". I pointed out this problem months ago. The error on their site is still there so if there's anyone reading this who is planning to drop off an urgent overnight package on Saturday, make sure you do it before 5:00 PM. TL;DR: Their website is a liar liar, pants on fire. read more

This is my go to place for drop off. The staff there are generally very friendly and helpful. But today the gentleman was totally not up to service level. His got this attitude that just made you feel not welcomed. Yes, I was informed that I couldn't use the envelope for ground shipping, and I purchased the envelope as instructed. I didn't expect him to give me a free envelope or anything, but the way he spoke to me made me feel he was indicating I was trying to take advantage of the express envelope. I think he needs to be retrained for the way he talks to the customer. read more

They delivered a package to my home and I wasn't there to receive it since it required a signature. Called to be sure they would hold it but when I arrived they had returned my package! An important plumbing piece that was important to receive. They didn't follow their own procedures and didn't hold it for three days. read more

Whenever I have to sign for a package, I am usually not home, so I opt to stop at this FedEx hub since it's down the street from my work. In and out, no fuss, no muss. I am grateful that they are open on Saturdays. Sometimes you just can't make it during the week. They also accept packages too if you miss your scheduled pick-up. Whoever their driver is, I'm sorry to say, is not that bright. He was unable to find my (in no way hidden) home to deliver a priority overnight package; I recieved a 'delivery exception' notification that told me they had an 'incorrect address' which was in no way true. Seems like it was just the driver making up an excuse for his own incompetance. When I called to see about getting a second attempt, they said they would try again Monday which was several days away and in no way 'overnight.' Also far, far too late.... They were also very discourteous and seemed to treat this as somehow my fault. Not recommended at all. read more

I had a package that had to be signed for and that was super important. Problem is, it arrived earlier than I expected, and no one was home when it was delivered. They left a sticker on my door and told me to pick it up at this center. I needed the package soon (it was a textbook that I needed to read for a midterm in a few days) so I decided to make the trip instead of having them attempt to deliver it to me again. The entrance to this place is deceptive. Enter along FedEx Way and awkwardly turn right into the small parking lot. Inside, there were two ladies helping customers, and a small line of customers. Damn, these ladies get their stuff done, and fast. I was in and out of there in 10-15 minutes despite having 6-7 other people in line in front of me. The turn out of the parking lot left is every bit as awkward as the right turn into the parking lot, so beware of cars coming into the parking lot as you exit. read more

This is a decent FedEx location but on my most recent visit, I had to wait 15 minutes for them to find my package even though there was absolutely no line. They actually told me that I might have to wait over an hour but fortunately, I didn't have to wait that long. read more

This place has exceptional service. I work in Irvine and brought a package with me that needed to be dropped off at a FedEx shipping center. I found this location down the street from work and decided to stop by. The center has plenty of parking for those dropping off packages as well as an area for those sealing packages before shipment. I didn't get to interact much with the staff because they were soo eager to help get the package off my hands. They scanned it and viola I was on my way. Went here to Fedex Ground Mr. Hero (the dog) in NJ some new dog toys. Box was sealed, proper paperwork filled out and I was the only person in line. The sales/worker lady was cordial but it seemed like I was taking up her time for some reason. The tone of her voice was just one of those things that irks you and you wonder why she's in a mood when she works a decent job at Fedex! Asked if the box had any liquids, flammables, hazmat. Nope, just dog toys, like I said in the beginning of the business transaction. Then she asked if "Mr. Hero" (in the To: field of the paperwork) was the dog. Uhhh yea. I only come here usually because I've upgraded my cell phone and my carrier ships via FedEx. If I had a choice, I wouldn't come here voluntarily unless I really want to feel miserable. I'm not sure if the people who work here are former postal workers or disgruntled former Build-a-Bear associates. Sure, lugging around heavy boxes and putting up with people's bs wouldn't put a smile on my face, but could they try to fake it anyway? Every freaking time I pay for expedited shipping (1-2day) I end up having to drive 45 minutes to pick up my own freaking package!!! This driver is a complete moron! Not only are these no-signature packages, we're in an apartment complex where other shipping services deliver packages to the front office ALLLLL the time! Yet, he can't ever take 1 minute out of his day to drop of my no-signature package at the front office that I paid $40-50 to ship in a TIMELY manner; he seems to think it's perfectly acceptable to ask me, instead, to drive nearly an hour to pick up the package. I never thought I'd prefer the USPS over anybody, but I honestly prefer the USPS to FedEx, at least in this location. read more

I stopped by here to drop off a package with a prepaid label. What I thought was going to be less than 5 minutes turned out to be a wait time of 20+ minutes. The 2 workers behind the desk seemed really busy with something to even acknowledge the line that was forming. It took so long for these clueless workers to figure out whatever they were doing that the manager had to come out and help them - and also tend to the irritated customers in line who also were there for a simple drop off. Went to this FedEx location yesterday to pick up a package and had the best experience with the staff that was there. They were helpful, approachable and had the best attitudes unlike the staff at the US Post Office in Rancho Santa Margarita. Waited for a very long time in order to get service. They seem under-staffed because there was a long line of about 6 people who were waiting for five minutes until an employee came out to help. Once an employee came out she was very helpful and friendly, maybe they were just understaffed for the day. I called and speak to Lora Lee. you know how fedEx tells you that your package will deliver before 8pm today, well, that wouldn't work for me, The place I needed to deliver my package to was in Pomona which would have been closed by 4. So when I called, not only Lora was super helpful and answered all my questions, she went over and beyond and made sure that I receive my package on-time. Thank you so much Lora! This place has undergo a lot of changes, before it was unorganized and outdated. I am liking the new changes to the store and the workers seem more well trained. Very degrading to female customers!!! I listened as other women were belittled as I had been for asking a question. Then I had to stand in line to mail my package. By the time it was my turn they told me I missed the cutoff for overnight. It was 5:02 and the guy was still there picking up the outgoing packages.
