First off I don't even like making post like this. To sit all day and wait on a package, and to have someone come sit while you go to an appointment, and they still not show? But you receive a message saying that a 'delivery attempt was made' is truly abysmal. The driver actually came to my house at 11:56 this morning, fumbled around in the back, got in the driver seat and left without saying anything to me. I wasn't sure it was a FedEx driver until he got back in the seat. Needless to say, he never returned. I'm highly disappointed also in the fact that I'm unable to talk to a representative because the automated system keeps giving me the runaround. They have been trying to deliver this package to me all week with Tuesday and Wednesday being my fault. I would have let them know but I'm unable to reach anyone or change anything online. Thursday was a total waste and the lie at the end was the worst. Now they're going to attempt on Friday and again I'm not going to be available. I could try to have someone wait but I don't know when the driver will show up and I can't have someone wait all day. It's just frustrating. read more

Many FedEx call centers share this same 800#. (800) 463-3339 Which is given to customers of the Fed Ex Kinko's stores. My problem started with an additional charge relating to a fax I'd sent earlier in the day, this charge wasn't on the display when I used the fax machine at the shop. This is something I noticed on-line while checking my card details. Talking to the clerks at the FedEx Kinko's store was no help. The charge was an extra dollar. $1.00. It took twenty five minutes and six phone transfers to get to the bottom of this charge. One dropped transfer. A big circle from the store to FedEx Kinko's CS, the revenue department then back to FedEx Kinko's CS. The final associate I spoke too said that the charge was an authorization charge and it should drop in a few days. Awesome. She went on to apologize for the lengthy wait and say that her response is elementary information that any of the CSA's I spoke to earlier could have answered. $1.00 = 25 minutes of time. I pay extra for Amazon Prime for the 2 day shipping. So, I expect to get my package in 2 days unless I was told at checkout that it will take longer. On Saturday, I called to see where my package was that I ordered on Thursday for a birthday party on Sunday. You know what their reason was for my package not being delivered? They couldn't get to my road because of a chemical spill. That chemical spill must have incapacitated my neighbors, the media, and the mayor cause no one else was aware about a chemical spill. And you know the media would have known about it if no one else. Y'all watch out for those non-existent "chemical spills" . They might cause your package to be delivered in 4 days instead of 2 days. read more

I recently paid nearly $50.00 to have a package that was scheduled to be delivered on 4/20/2022. It was shocked to find out yesterday (4/27/2022) that the package had not been delivered to its destination. I have found today that the package is being returned to me? Why? Has someone tampered with my package. Did they damage it in route??? I've also been given conflicting information as to its location, and there is NO local phone number they will give me to find out if it is in Tuscaloosa. I have to drive 50 miles round trip to find out if it is there. What the H*ll kind of business model is this? read more

Paid for 2 day delivery. Live in an apartment complex, they could have very easily left my package at the front desk. Instead, they left me a note on the door, when I called to ask them to redeliver, they told me I could either meet the driver at the shell station or pick it up myself. I didn't pay for two-day delivery to have to go get It myself. Just bad customer service. read more

FedEx does not deliver to my apartment; they simply leave a note saying I have to come pick the package up every time. Our apartment is gated, but there is a call box that I use to let people in. UPS uses the call box. I've had several packages delayed, held, and even sent back to the shipper. Sometimes they don't even leave a note, so I have no way of knowing that my package is being held somewhere. It's extremely frustrating. The customer service number is equally as useless; I've spent a lot of time arguing with representatives about where my packages are. If you have any option at all, do not use Fedex in Tuscaloosa. If you don't have an option and you aren't home all day to receive packages then expect to go retrieve the package yourself with at least a three day delay. read more

Our local FedEx Delivery service is incredibly unreliable. I've asked Amazon not to ship my pkgs by FedEx. I will have to repeat my request.

FedEx has failed to deliver , time after time. Tracking will say on the truck for delivery, but they never even attempt to deliver . My packages are at a hud only about 20 miles from my house, but can't seem to get here. If they do and i have multiple packages i may only receive 3 of 5 . I have filed complaint after complaint with no explanation or change. read more

Terrible service! Did not leave a note for missed delivery or call phone number as instructed. Finally I was able to speak to a person after 35 minutes of automated service. Then they informed me that a VM was left and a notice left on the door, neither was correct. They stated the package was at the location online, I said I would pick it up however, it would not be available until after 6:00 p.m. They need to work on their delivery service to keep customers. read more

Really bad experience with the local delivery service. I work from home so I never have issues accepting packages. I missed a package delivery on a Saturday, and they left a door tag indicating they had been by around 8 a.m. Fair enough, I was sleeping in and likely just didn't hear the knock on the door. Missed them again on Monday, they left a door tag -- again, I was towards the back of the apartment, so I just chalked it up on poor hearing. The next day I stationed myself on my couch by my front door -- nobody came by all morning. I went outside around lunch to walk the dog and lo and behold there was a door tag saying I missed them again! I don't know what happened, but I know without a doubt I would have heard and answered the door that morning had there been a knock. All I can guess is that they assumed if one time on two days didn't work, I must not be home so they didn't bother knocking and just slapped a door tag on my door frame. So then I had to go to the store and received very poor service, with the employee behind the counter obviously upset about something and yelling at his coworkers, visibly enraged about something which made me and other customers very uncomfortable. read more

I haven't been a common user of FedEx and after today I see why. My cousin ordered a phone from Verizon on Wednesday and it was expected to be delivered today, Friday December 28th. She received a call this morning at 10:00 A.M. stating that the courier needed to confirm her apartment number. She confirmed the apartment number then and was told the package was on schedule to be delivered by 8:00 P.M. tonight. Around 5:10 P.M today customer service was called to track the package and get a specific delivery time. She was told again that the address needed to be confirmed which was confusing because she already did it. She confirmed the address again and was told that the package is in route. Around 7:40 P.M she calls customer service again because the package still hasn't been delivered. The representative on the phone says that the package was not delivered because the address was incorrect. Because she waited until 8:00 P.M. the shipping center has closed and now has no way of getting it. This unprofessional behavior is not acceptable and we are very distraught over a package not being delivered over something very simple. Most convoluted unreliable delivery service! FedEx sends a package of food all over the map before reaching the delivery site.

Absolutely worst experience. My dad paid almost $100 on a Friday morning to ship a package (that contained my car keys) that would be delivered before 10:00 AM on Saturday. They never left a door tag saying that they had been at my apartment (which they are supposed to do), and when I called to ask them for help they literally would not take my call. I finally got to them, and stated my problem and how I can't pick up the package because it has my car keys in it. They were incredibly rude and said that they didn't have the gate code of my apartment. Great excuse, except my apartment doesn't even have a gate code. FedEx people go through the main office. Meanwhile, I'm stranded at my apartment bumming rides while these people have my package. When I called the 800 number to talk to a manager, the manager was apparently unavailable. I have yet to receive any apology for my inconvenience, and they will not refund the money. It's 11 AM on a Tuesday, and no effort has been made to get me my package. NEVER USE FED EX FOR ANYTHING IMPORTANT EVER AGAIN! Unless you want to be stranded, out of a good chunk of money, and disrespected. read more
