I have had to pick up packages at this location on a few occasions. Each time the staff has been efficient and organized. No problem locating or signing for my item(s). Horrible horrible HORRIBLE ! I'm NEVER the type to leave reviews but my god this one should be worth the write because I need to warn people about this company /place !! I honestly wish I could give them a negative rating because that's how horrible they are ! I'm like genuinely pissed and these people weren't lying when they said they scam/rob you !! Basically ! A 364 lbs piano was supposed to be shipped to my house right and so it "gets" to my local post office ! Now I put it in quotations because I went to my local post office and they told me they didn't have it ! But let me tell y'all why I went to my local post office ! So I contacted their agent asking why my piano was on hold for 3 days already and supposedly it's because I had to pay $50 because it was from MY CITY ( keep in my mind I live in Cali ) and not because of them ! They stated supposedly that they're job is to deliver it on your door step but because it's from my city I had to pay $50 ! That's when I go to my local post office to talk about the $50 ! They told me , they never received my package and the $50 is something they never do (my post office ) which was weird ! I later contacted this company and I ended up paying the $50 TO THEM which made no sense to me but alright !! Later that day , they quickly put it for out for delivery and supposedly they delivered it ! I messaged them saying why does it say it's delivered and it's not here ?! They asked if I checked everywhere I told them yes ! I told them I check even my neighbors houses and around and the other side and EVERYTHING AND NOTHING ! They then said that they were going to send a delivery team by Monday to "resolve" my issue which idk WHAT IN THE **** were they going to resolve by arriving to my house but okay ! I give them time because they said they were going to email me when they get here ! I have NOT received one email or message from them AT ALL !! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking "oh they might come late " and NOPE NOTHING ! They lied and scammed and ROBBED ME !! Which I'm mad about because I already paid a lot of money for that piano !! Another thing about them is that never answer or take 85927294828 hrs to reply back ! So I would create new empty chats to see if they would respond fast and they did which was weird !! All of this they handled it very unprofessional and childish !! An awful place to get delivery, very poor management and lazy drivers. They don't have the patience to deliver packages

In a word, lazy. I walked in late Saturday afternoon, March 11th at around 4 PM. There was a short, middle-aged woman in glasses behind the counter. I had a heavy package. She said to put it on the conveyor. I did so. Then I showed her my email with a barcode for the destination. She said I needed to print it out and bring in a label. I said I was told to just bring this email in. I offered to pay for her to print out a label. She refused. Frankly, I don't have a printer at home anymore. Who needs it. I said I can't believe that in this whole hub facility, you can't print one label. All of this while she was also arguing with two nice people who spoke broken English. This woman at the counter just didn't want to hear about anything nor was she willing to make any sort of effort for any customers. She directed me to carry my heavy package out and take it two miles away down the highway. Absolutely awful customer service. I hope someone in management contacts this woman that represents you. She does not belong at the counter dealing with customers. Later, I did go down the highway to FedEx Kinko's on Route 22 in Springfield. They couldn't have been nicer. They printed out my label immediately. And my package was on the way. Terrific. read more

Im a very easy going person and hardly complain about much but after the service I received and witnessed with my own eyes today has left me no choice but to speak up, I ordered a pair of shoes which was brought to my house by fedex only to depart within a minute upon arrival without even getting out the car, this type of service would be Immaculate if I were to receive my package in hand, instead I received a message to my phone stating that "the person was not home or business was closed" While I watched the fedex van drive away while I was outside watching him from my garage area. At this time I was outside working on my car with the front door open but the glass screen door locked shut, my one year old pitbull that weighs 48 pounds was sitting at the door. I can understand the concern of the driver getting attack or frighten of dogs but to not get out of your vehicle or even attempt to give me the package given I was standing in the driveway in clear view is outright beyond me. I'm not sure what went thru the drivers mind ar the instance they seen my dog but driving off and reporting that I was not home while I waiting for this package is just bad business, I then proceeded to talk to customer service within 10 minutes of the incident and they said he would come back within the next 5 hours and never showed up! I had to go and pick up the package at my near by fedex facility at 7pm resulting in me losing my whole day waiting for a package that the person didn't even try to deliver. I'm not sure if you guys analyze your drivers but if they are this afraid of dogs or people they need a serious evaluation. So I tell the desk clerk that the package was here this entire time and the driver didn't make the attempt this morning cause I was waiting this morning. She makes up this ridiculous lie saying they try making the attempts "three times" SO MY QUESTION IS, WHY IS THE BOX HERE IN THE SHIPMENT CENTER RIGHT NOW AND NOT IN THE TRUCK AS WE SPEAK ? HMMM. I walk up to counter with my package and a code on my phone ready to scan. I pleasantly say hello. Instead of responding back hello, the clerk responds: Is that a code? We don't do that here. Me: The email states that you can take this to a FedEx location to have the code printed, then ship your package out. Her: That's only at a print and ship. Me: I didn't know there was a difference. This is not....? Her: No Me: Do you know where the closest one is? Her: On 22 Me: Oh man I was just over there... Her: (silence) Me: Do you have their number so I can call to be sure they are a "ship and print" location before I go back?(mind you it was pouring rain that day) Her: No Me: Wow, ok. Then I walk out. I kid you not. That's really how dry she was. (If I got her name, I would call her out. But she did have blonde braids....) I mean was I asking for too much? She didn't even attempt to look! You mean to tell me that a FedEx location has NO contact information for any other locations? I have a very hard time believing that. Could I look it up on my phone? They had a lady at the counter..Crystal..she was relaxed efficient and world class.She processed the line quick like a master.We were lucky to have her for the 3 years we came in here.When she wasn't there a lady with a Hedjob was almost as good. I don't expect a trip to FedEx to be a rip roaring good time, but it's amazing how often I walk out utterly irritated and disappointed with this shop. Ultimately they need an extra person or two behind the counter processing slips and gathering pick-ups. The line is usually long and in my experience always slow. A glimmer of hope shines when one idealistic employee gathers several pick up slips at once to collect from the back, only to be stomped out as you wait (again) to sign for the package that's now just within reach. Employees are all very nice which gives them the two stars I am awarding, but the molasses speed may just kill me. read more

I was expecting a package from FedEx and was tracking it online to make sure I knew when it would come. I needed it ASAP and knew that I wouldn't get it until the afternoon if I waited for it to deliver to my address on the truck. So, I called the night before and scheduled a pick up at this Fedex center. The package reached the center (according to the site) in the morning and I got a call around 7:30 am saying I would get a call when it was ready to pick up. Around 8:30 am, I saw that it was ready on the website. No call, but I decided to just give picking up a shot. By the time I got ready and actually picked it up, it was around 10 am. Still no call but my package was there. I'm glad I was checking online or who knows if/when I would have been notified (judging from other reviews). When they say they'll notify you when it is ready, they should. Service was decent, a bit of a wait but nothing horrendous. But the saying they'd call and then not following through was a minus in my book. read more

I ordered live crawfish from Louisiana to be delivered to my house in Bayonne New Jersey on February 9 2021 , Never arrived then an email stating that they will deliver it on the February 10 , Too late they are pretty much all dead because once those jelle packs start to melt and the crawfish start to Get active in the Styrofoam box they suffocate and die. Guess what I need on one of the first few warm Saturday afternoons... attitude! I will preface this by saying I understand that the center was closing in about 45 minutes and there seemed to be an influx of people. I went to kindly return a package that was left at our door that was addressed to someone else. My kindness was met with attitude when the only Fed Ex employee told me it wasn't their package because it was Fed Ex Ground and they are Fed Ex Express. That sounds like semantics to me, no where on the shipping centers signage did it say Fed Ex Express- but I calmly asked what should I do with the package. Her reply was "I don't know, throw it out, it isn't ours!" She continued to repeat that I should throw it out when I mentioned that it wasn't mine either. I could go one but I'll end there and say that I truly didn't appreciate her attitude or tone and felt like it was completely unwarranted for the situation. I tried calling Customer Service to complain, clearly it got under my skin, but they requested a ton of information to file a formal complaint and said they couldn't do so without my info. HORRIBLE STAFF. If i could give this place no stars i would. It was my first ever having to pick up a package from here because i wasn't home to sign for it and wasn't aware of the process and what kind of information was needed. When the lady at the counter asked me what I was here for I just answered "for a package" and she all of a sudden snapped at me and said "um i know it's a package from what location?" her tone was so damn disrespectful and she literally was annunciating this to me like as if i was toddler. Horrible corporate customer service. Multiple packages that were supposed to be delivered to me by 3 completely different companies were lost by FedEx. They don't work with customers or their corporate shippers. My shipper called multiple times, and Fedex tell them they can't do anything. When i call FedEx they tell me it's the shipper. I am not sure who is in charge of deliveries in Irvington NJ. So this review will go on each location. This is the 3rd package this week that has not been delivered or missed delivered or missing! 2 of my packages said they were signed and retrieved by me and they were not delivered. I also sent them to TWO different addresses due to unreliable deliveries. One I had to place a claim and the second I may have to place another claim soon. I went to the facility and 1 of the packages they said someone left in the truck. Come to find out that they couldn't find the packages. This is RIDICULOUS! I will advise that company's stop using fedEx as a delivery option due to the fact that , they never reach the destination, & that a lot of claims will be in action due to the fact of missing packages. Avoid at all costs!! I tracked a package that they were supposed to deliver to me days ago, and it is almost comical how bad they are at their jobs. Attempt 1 to deliver was two days late. They tried at 7pm. We were at home in a small one bedroom apartment. They did not knock, but instead just left a sticker on the door. I signed for them to leave it at the door next time. Attempt 2 to deliver they did not leave a sticker, tried to deliver to the wrong building (I spoke with the doorman). Attempt 3 was 10 MINUTES later!!! It clearly states on the door tag that an attempt constitutes, "consecutive business days", not 10 minutes later. I called Fed Ex and they said that they would deliver it the next days and they didn't (we work from home). I called back and they said, sorry we won't because there have been three attempts. I called again, and somebody said yes, we will deliver on Saturday. I just spoke with someone Fed ex person from a call center and she said that they DON'T DELIVER ON SATURDAY! Can I give no stars? If that's possible I'd prefer that over 1 star. 1 Star for this business is so incredibly overly generous it feels like a crime. This FedEx shipment center is NOTORIOUS for stating that they "made a delivery attempt" but nobody was there to sign. As a result the package wasn't delivered. Makes it hard to make these "claims" when people have a RING doorbell to call you out on your blatant lies. The only problem is, no matter how many times they pull the same stunt, nothing changes! The icing on the cake was this week... when I spent a whopping $65 to ship a very perishable package next day air across the country. Supposed to get here by 10:30 AM Tuesday. Deadline comes and goes. Then it'll be here by 8 PM Tuesday, guess what - no package. Adjusted to 10:30 AM Wednesday - do you think it got here by then? If you guessed yes, sorry to say you're wrong. Finally, at 5:45 PM the tracking info updates saying that a delivery attempt was made and unanswered so it will not be delivered until Thursday. The amazing irony about that is that I was literally on the phone with FedEx customer support staring out my front window when this apparent "attempt" was made. I shutter to think what my package will look like when it arrives. If I wanted to wait 4 days, I'd have chosen standard shipping. Absolutely horrendous, abhorrent, disgraceful, and unprofessional. I'll avoid FedEx at all costs, particularly this shipment center. The only positive was the supervisor who after finally getting on the phone, got the package on a truck with a new driver and delivered by 8 PM Wednesday evening. I paid extra to receive a package by Friday, due to delays was rescheduled to Monday, completely understandable. Took half a day to stay within the parameters of the hours given, and still managed to miss shipping. Called the 800 number, and was asked if I'd want it rescheduled for Tuesday or hold the package after 7pm, a few towns away due to shippers options. I chose to pick it up. I arrived at 8:05, and was called upon by 8:10, when the women at the front searched my package she said, "the trucker hasn't arrived, you can hang out and wait or come back tomorrow...next" I kid you not. I said, "no not next we aren't finished, when will the trucker be here, when will my package be here?" She said she'd have to call the driver but will do so when she feels like it, I said "excuse me?" A customer told me I couldn't speak to her like that, which at that point, I told him to mind his business being that the transaction wasn't over. In all this she was on her bluetooth under her burka and says, "you see the shit I gota deal with here?" Extremely unprofessional. Why do I wait in line? Miss work? Follow the process only to be treated and disrespected in such a manner? I was told to be there after 7. Anyways, she goes to the back room, comes back to tell me they're calling the driver, for me to step aside, I do so, in the same time another customer is complaining about the exact change rule and asks why they don't have registers, and she looks at me and goes, "because we get some crazy customers in here...." he begins gesturing punches, and says hes going to have a talk to the workers for not having a register. I tell her she can't call me that, she says she didn't, that I'm getting violent and she will call the police, I tell her to call, she doesn't, 2 minutes later my package pops up. The embarrassment and vilification was unwarranted. I ask for her name and her supervisors name and they(both employees at the front) saying they aren't allowed to give their names, and refuse to give it. I had a package expedited in order to get it in time for my sisters birthday. Around 1 PM I tracked my package online. The tracking information said "delivery exception. Customer not available or business closed." Supposedly they attempted to deliver the package at 12:04 PM. The door bell never rang. There was no door tag left behind. I called FedEx and the lady I spoke with could barely speak English. I asked why the package wasn't left at the front door and if a signature was required. She was speechless for a moment then responded by saying that no signature was required. She said they would deliver the package tomorrow. I did not pay for second day shipping to get my package three days later. Now I have to go to the local FedEx to pick up my package because someone neglected to do their job properly. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened and I'm sure it won't be the last. Next time I will be using UPS. read more

I had called twice before I went and they said they closed at 9, but when I went there it magically became 8:30. To be fair, maybe they are overworked, who knows? Well, they sent my package to the return address and then expected me to pay to have it resent. When they finally agreed to resend it, they wouldn't give me any receipt. The manager came out and started interrogating me. I threw a hissy-fit at that point -- then they let me take a photo of the package ... finally gave me a receipt. That wasn't my first unpleasant experience there. It will however be my last visit. Absolute worst experience left door tag with signature they still will not deliver. I left instructions and still no delivery. Customer service can not do anything - so this is $15 for shipping down the drain! No customer service help. read more
