Ordered the Cajun all-you-can-eat with jambalaya, crawfish etouffe, shrimp creole. It literally was a plate of rice with sauce on it. I had one scant piece of crawfish, 3 baby shrimps and 1 tiny piece of sausage. My plate looked untouched. The waitress took forever to take our order, she didn't check on us after we got our food and then came and asked if we wanted more of something that looked untouched!! ‍. Then offered us dessert. She never ask why I didn't eat the plate of saucy rice and didn't even ask if I wanted to take the practically untouched food home. When I saw she wasn't concerned I did ask for a to -go box because by George, I'm at least going to get some saucy rice for $11.99. Ridiculous!!

Fantastic We had the big pretzel with cheese sauce, I had butterfly shrimp and husband had Half rack of ribs. Waitress was pleasant and quick. The vinegar slaw was great! And the pretzel outstanding! All the food was good and served in reasonable time at high noon.

I can't speak for the dinner experience as its currently quarter till one in the afternoon. For lunch, this place is good. Wasn't overly busy at all. Nice atmosphere, though I hate how every place around here pipes "country" through the radio, with a lot of dark woods to set the "mill" appearance. My wife and I tried the gator tail appetizer as I was too scared to try the gator tail dinner. Tasted like a cross between chicken and lobster. We both really liked it. Had it served with honey mustard. That was followed up by the main course. Tiff had a catfish dinner. Two decent sized catfish fiddlers with two sides. Her opinion was, "awesome, worth coming back." Being nearly an hour and 40 minutes from home, I'm not sure how soon but will likely be soon. I had a cup of gumbo. I wasn't overly hungry so I didn't order the bowl. Having never had gumbo before, I can't vouch for authenticity but I can say that it was great. Not too spicy and carried a lot of flavor. It is a very heavy soup. I found even the small serving to be filling. If you happen to be in the area (not likely unless you live here) or just feel like taking a drive, don't be afraid to check it out. It's worth it.

As for the food, I had a tounge-asm! Crisp succulent duck and perfectly made genuine Ceasar salad. My husband's grilled shrimp and lobster mac & cheese were exceptional. The bourbon cake was moist and very delicious. The chocolate cake was decadent, rich and wonderful. All this in a wonderful historic beautiful building. We have found our favorite restaurant!

The restaurant consists of three floors, all decorated amazingly. We were seated in the basement area and had a wonderful server named Jordan. We started off with drinks. I had a non-alcoholic strawberry garden fizz, my husband had a tequila old fashioned, and our son had a Shirley Temple. For an appetizer we shared the Maine Lobster Caprese. Next we ordered the Nando wedge and French onion soup. For our entrees we enjoyed the Maine Diver Scallop Bucatini, Agrodolce Wild Duck Breast, and our son had sides of macaroni and cheese and Parmesan Truffle Pommes Frites. While we were absolutely full after these courses and had parts of our meal boxed to go, our son insisted he had an extra stomach for dessert. We ordered the Lemon Tart and Creme Brulee. We had the bourbon soaked cherries that came with the crème brulee put on the side. The menu selections, the ambiance, the staff, and especially the food were all amazing. We can't wait to come back with other family and friends. *I did forget to snap a few pictures of some of our dishes.

I'll give them 4.75 stars, but they did fantastic so I'll round up for this place. First, we walk in the door and Zack walked past and complimented the boss on her snazzy shirt and a few other staff were friendly too so the vibe was nice to start off. We were then led to our table to discover Zack is our server for the night. Another compliment on the bosses glasses, okay she did look great - Thanks Zack! Drinks come out super fast and we get our food ordered. Zack was great helping with Alpha Gal and later following up with the kitchen staff that they had in fact not put butter on my fish - another win. I ordered the red fish special (I think) with a baked potato and the boss got the Harris Platter. Zack recommended blackened and was so right, delicious! I tried her fired catfish and that was delicious too, but would have dipped it in hot sauce, but the cocktail sauce was so yummy with a nice horseradish bite - delicious and maybe better than hot sauce (slander I know). That 0.25 off - well the hushpuppies were kinda gross and bland. This is the south so quality hushpuppies are a must. Ask for Zack, you will not be dissapointed.

We ordered drinks. I ordered a double Basil Hayden sour and my friend Tanqueray and tonic. We had shrimp, crab cakes, mahi and Ahi. All were delicious. Half way through the meal we ordered another drink. When the check came my 2 drinks were $56. $28 each. I understand that a double is 2ce the price as a single but in a place where 95% of the menu items are $20ish or less and the restaurant is NOT high end one would not expect to pay this much for a drink. If you are going to charge above average prices they should be disclosed. No prices are on the menu.
