I asked him why make the service available to book online if the service isn't available?? He could've easily blocked it out or not taken appointments for that service until it was available. He said there was no appointments made before he went to bed so be still made it available to book even though the service itself was not. He basically blamed everyone else instead of taking responsibility for making a service available that wasn't. It would have been nice to have been offered some type of compensation fr this inconvenience bit of course none was offered. It's not often I have a terrible experience for a service that I wasn't even serviced for.

She's got great control and the perfect amount of pressure where it's needed, she knows where to go and how to get the job done in the allotted time. The space itself is pretty cramped. They sort of subdivided massage rooms within the larger office such that my table was at an odd angle. It doesn't really matter since you're lying down but the therapist had to negotiate that lack of room. I chose Kylie and she was great. The website had little bios and her pressure level was listed on there as like 3-5 or something? I assumed that was the highest so I picked her. Good choice. If you like a lot of pressure, Kylie can hook you up. She was digging in places especially at the top of my shoulders that needed some love. And she did this scraping thing on my deltoids that I loved and she worked my glutes/hips really well. Tons of improved range of motion when I left. Overall I thought her technique was great; however, I wished she had spent a little more time in a few areas. I guess I could have spoken up but I'm used to therapists going by feel and then focusing on an area until there's a release. With Kylie, she focused on an area and gave a lot of great pressure but didn't hone in on big trigger points until they make that crunchy feeling of release into smaller ones (or whatever that is). So that's why it's a 4 star not a 5. Otherwise a fantastic massage. I get them every couple of weeks so I'm very particular in what I want and like. She did this jaw thing that was just pain, not the good kind. Won't be doing that again lols. I am 100% sure I'll be going back to Kylie and once I have been there a few times, I feel like I'll be able to communicate exactly what I want a lot better. There's sort of a getting to know your therapist period that I haven't had in a while since I had been seeing my previous one for like 1.5 years. Well, today we are adding Chelsea North to the list of awesome providers in the islands. Chelsea works in the Hawaii Wellness Spa which is a little oasis in the midst of town. When I walked in the waiting area was warm and inviting; after a quick introduction I completed some paperwork while sipping some water. As I entered my massage room, right away I noticed the room had a shower and tub both were very clean. Then the main event! Chelsea probably has magic fingers that radiate healing rainbows from each fingertip. No kidding. My shoulders and neck were so tight and she gently yet firmly worked those muscles back into shape. She doubled checked on me, to make sure the pressure was to my liking but other than that, kept the chatting down to a minimum (likely because I was snoring 10 minutes into it). I also like that Chelsea used a variety of techniques to ensure the tension was relieved - meaning she customized for the situation (aka my rock hard neck and shoulder muscles) rather than stick to a cookie cutter variety. Towards the end of my massage I was surprised when Chelsea informed me that I was welcomed to take a quick shower if I wanted to wash off some of the lotion/oils. WOW, cool! It's in an open space, fully clothed (so where loose comfortable clothing; not jeans etc) with no oil. It's targeted pressure points and not oiled like Swedish or Thai massages. They focus on the areas you escalate to them versus a full body massage. I saw both Kieko and Aya. I'd recommend both. Keiko for more precise pressure points and Aya for stronger broader technique. Both are attentive and focus on problematic areas you raise to them and will adapt their session with an intention to address that targeted area. Both genuinely seemed to care about my improvement and provide advise for after their session. Hope this place continues to do well.

Aisen has both male and female therapists, and in my experience, all are qualified professionals. That said, you may still like one therapist more than another, depending on your own preferences. Many sessions are conducted in silence, with only occasional quiet exchanges. Some clients, though, seem comfortable with therapists who engage more actively in conversation. Although I've been coming here for years, this morning was only my second treatment with one of the therapists there -- both times for specific issues. I like this person's thoroughness and pressure. And like the others I've seen here, the focus is on the whole body, not just the parts that ache. I made a follow-up appointment with this therapist.
