I love this place!!! This was probably my forth time getting fitted for running shoes, but this time was the best of the best!!! Nikki was great! She was very thorough and patient in helping me find the best shoe for me. She also helped in fitting my husband for athletic shoes as well, and explained a few other things about running gear for us. I most definitely will be back here!

Review Highlights - Feet First

The cost of the new running shoes with inserts was less than the cost of the pair I had been wearing for years - that I had been purchasing online.

Cool store on Swann by On Swann. They sell some Salt Pines branded gear, Avid (with fish hook…read moreadornment), and Mizzen and Main made in the USA button down shirts. The store is nicely appointed with wood floors, good lighting, and space to look around. Staff were helpful and friendly. They like babies AND puppy dogs. Shop local!!! They have some fun Tampa skyline t-shirts as of the end of 2018..

I've been to Salt Pines several times and went before this place was actually called Salt Pines. It…read moreused to be High Cotton Living. The place carries a variety of "southern" gear, which equates into what fraternity people who are no longer in a fraternity would wear after leaving college. It also caters to the people who are actually still in fraternities. Like I said, it is a very Southern place, so think camo hats, fishing shirts, maybe some nice button downs, bow ties, croakies. For the ladies, the clothing is pretty cute but don't count on the stock changing too much. I think I have literally seen the same dress sitting in the place for an entire year. They also carry jewelry and some housewares that are pretty Tampa-esque, which is neat. I must say I'm sorta bummed about this place though because they were running a Creative Loafing deal half off and then rescinded it AFTER I had bought it which sort of sucks because it seems like these people want the money and not the good business that they could get from the deal. Their stuff goes on sale sometimes but it's hardly anything to bat my eyes over since I know it'll always be there, even a year from now.
