Even the delivery guys were surprised that it left the store in that condition. I refused it and they returned it to fix it. Three days later they deliver it with the casing now secured to the base but it didn't drain at all. Apparently their repair person does not check to make sure the appliances are working before being delivered. It seems they are severely lacking on any quality control but eager to sell. We cannot say enough good things about Christian. He was polite, approachable, well-mannered, very informative and, most of all, honest. By the time he got done with his diagnosis, everyone agreed it would cost us less to buy a new unit than it would be to dump the money in to fix the old one. That is what we did. And we thank Christian for showing us options. I am not sure who trained this guy, but he is the real deal. Naturally, we hope we don't have to see you too often. But when we do, it is Christian we will be asking for.

Jalen with Mr Appliance also came when they said they would come and resolved the issue quickly and easily. The issue was a grinding noise that our less than three year old dryer was making. an obvious sign that something was not right. Jalen suspected a potential blower motor issue and got to work on resolving it. 25 minutes later the problem was fixed: Excess lint buildup that got through the lint trip and into the machine, causing the motor to have to work harder than it needed to. He showed me all of the lint he pulled out, but he piled it up on the runner below the dryer and on the top of our glass-topped washing machine, requiring me to clean off the washer and wash the runner. In addition, it was $243 for less than a half hour of his time. If the service call is $129, that would make the hourly rate $200 for Mr Appliance--I am clearly in the wrong line of work! Unfortunately I can't really give more than three stars given the cost and cleanup from the appointment.

Wisconsin Kitchen Mart has been in business since 1951 and are considered one of the top kitchen/bath design remodelers in the area. (no I do not work for them). When so much being done, it was important that contractors meet their deadlines. We started our kitchen remodeling odyssey by meeting with their designer Russ Waters in Dec 2010 at their large showroom at 36th and Wisconsin. He listened attentively and developed drawings and a quote and within several weeks we had signed a contract. Of course he had to make several other trips to their showroom as well as numerous calls and emails and went through several drawing changes and requotes to get to the final concept but they showed up on the designated day and work was completed on time and on budget. I was able to save some money by doing the demo work and painting myself. Russ and WKM were sensitive to our budget and timeline and they kept the jobsite clean and orderly - it's hard enough to go without a kitchen for 5 weeks.

Not sure what is reasonable or pricey for a plant, but most of them seemed fair to me. Although I did have to put back a string of pearls succulent. A little pricey, and I know I would kill this beauty. It was nice to just wander about without anyone trying to be overly helpful. Took my time and found some new plants for my apartment. Which will not die on me!! The staff, at checkout, were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back. Great succulent selection which I have a soft spot for.
