If you want good service on service, then I highly recommend West time I took my son's submarine Rolex antiqued watch to have the wrist taken in on the band and they were able to do it so it's pretty complicated but they made it so easy and the prices are very fair and if you need your battery changed or anything simplistic in regards to your watches, this is the place to go! read more

We were visiting Los Angeles from San Francisco and stopped into Westime on Rodeo Drive. This establishment has an incredible collection of watch brands and several hard to find pieces. We were not looking to buy just yet, but wanted to gather ideas, especially on Tudors. Ron G. showed us the collections. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He was attentive and never made us feel rushed. Ron had stories to share about each watch brand at Westime including the histories. We truly enjoyed our time with Ron and will return to purchase our his and hers watches here. I highly recommend Westime. It is in a beautiful and convenient location with ample parking. Im like I have no idea on prices or availability I was shown three Daytona Rolex watches all precious metal he told me we don't compete with other dealers take it or leave it basically buy elsewhere he claimed the watches are factory sealed brand new and no other dealers got it that's lie everyone knows that, he refused to show me the RM he said look through the glass after all that time wasting I made offer on three Daytona platinum, metorite Daytona white gold oyster flex and lemans Daytona I made a offer on all three he told me multiple times it take multiple days to let me know about my offer like no I want to know right now if I can buy them today, anyways after that they kicked me out slammed the door no have a nice day pleasure meeting, the whole interaction was like oh you serious do you have money, there a saying never judge a book by its cover, plus he said they don't take no trades they full of watches well not really they had only 4 rms , and mostly Rolex few AP and patek like very few other feelers have more selection. This Rodeo Drive store sold me what they claimed was a 2024 Audemars Piguet--no warranty card, no certificate, and it turned out to be a 2021 model. They promised online registration, then lied. You cannot register without a warranty card (even an expired one, which they didn't provide). At this point, I'm not even sure it is authentic, since there is no paperwork. They did not disclose it at the time of sales and my wife who picked up the watch was too naive to ask for it. Now they refuse to refund. I'm filing an AMEX chargeback and a complaint with AP. Avoid this place if you value honesty; their "luxury" comes with shameful misrepresentation. read more

I was browsing watches today and decided on a Bell & Ross. I was quoted a price and asked if there was any further discount available. The sales rep went to her manager and didn't return. I had to find another sales person to get her. She came back with a price $500 higher than what she originally quoted and would not honor the original quote. I left the store. Many high end watch shops can be stiff or crotchety, but not Westime -- it's a really fun place to visit. Even if you're not ready to buy something, you can see some absolutely insane stuff here. Many of these products I've either never been able to see or could only see in Geneva. If you're into watches, engineering, art, collectibles, or just luxury products, this is the place for you. I worked with Su, and she's amazing. First time I visited, I gave no indication that I could buy anything, and she spent over an hour with me letting me try on watches that cost more than a hundred grand. I'm a young guy, so I'm used to being dismissed at these kinds of places, but that didn't happen. Almost six months later, I did get something through Su, and the purchase process was just as smooth as the original visit. Even if you're not ready to buy (although I'm sure they'd prefer it if you are), this is an incredible place to visit. If you're into watches, it should be a destination on any LA trip. read more

I was immediately impressed by the selection, cleanliness and layout of the store, and professionalism and courtesy of the staff. I was, very ably, assisted by Ron, who did an amazing job of explaining the watch complications, sizing, comparisons and options. He was friendly, patient, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. He took great care to ensure that I was comfortable with the model, price and features of my timepiece. When I had follow-up questions and issues, after I left the store, Ron went to great lengths to ensure I was completely satisfied and comfortable with my purchase. Horrible customer service! I reached out to WESTIME to purchase a titanium bracelet for my new Blancpain 5010. After waiting 4 days, customer service (Ann) finally responded requesting the serial number of my titanium Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 5010. I promptly provided it to her, with a photo by email, and never received a reply back. It's been 20 days with no response. That's okay, I called Blancpain, and they referred me to Feldmar on Pico in LA, who had the bracelet for me in two days and mounted today in 45 minutes. What a beautiful store and a huge staff of expert jewelers with many years experience. Sorry WESTIME Beverly Hills, you're fired! read more

Years ago, I purchased a watch from Westime at the former Westside Pavilion. The store since relocated to Sunset Plaza, and has apparently closed since then, which I am pleased about. I had a horrible experience, paid cash for my few thousand dollar purchase, should have received a discount (per Feldmar) and was treated like shit in the process. Fast-forward, I took my watch to Sunset Plaza to have the battery replaced (battery replacement is supposed to be free for the lifetime of my purchase). I had the original box the watch came in as well as the remaining links that were not used. I did not notice until later, because I rarely ever wear the watch, but my additional links were GONE. I reached out to Westime after searching high and low for my links, thinking maybe I removed them myself. (I do not lose things. I keep my like items with like items, down to the receipts of my high-end purchases with the actual item and box.) I spoke to a store manager who immediately attempted to defend the guy who replaced my battery and conveniently removed my links. I've heard of jewelers swapping out customers' diamonds when they take their jewelry to have it cleaned or repaired, but I never expected my links to disappear, especially when I always kept my watch and links together. The then-manager's response was for me to return to the store to 'see what [they] could do. Easier said than done. I was caring for not one but two family members at that time, so my priorities were with them (and are still with the surviving family member). I think it's disgusting that a person who works for an establishment would so such a thing. I am sharing my story because, while I may never be made whole for what happened, I want people to know what Westime is capable of. Again, I had a horrible experience initially and it just got worse. I lived a pretty much regret free life, but I absolutely regret having purchased anything from them - which is why I honestly never wear that watch. I wasted a lot of money in support of a business that doesn't deserve to be in business. They should put a 'white men ONLY' sign on their front door, because that's their target demographic. They don't care to properly serve anyone else. read more

I contacted Westime Beverly Hills to inquire about a Tudor watch. Su promptly reached out to me and told me she would be able to get one in stock reasonably soon. All my other local Florida ADs told me they wouldn't be able to get me anything until next year, or would only give me generic responses which led me to believe they were not even interested in earning my business. Not Su! She called all the other Tudor ADs in Westime's network and was able to find another watch the same day! She paid for next day shipping and mailed it out the following day. I couldn't believe I went from inquiring about the watch on a Thursday to having the watch delivered at 9am on a Saturday morning in Florida. She even had the bracelet sized for me prior to shipping. I only wished they were closer to me so I could thank her in person! I've never worked with someone that was so prompt with their communication! I recently had the displeasure of interacting with Sales Associate Ann at your store, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment I approached her for assistance, it was evident that she had no interest in helping me or addressing my needs. Her dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. First and foremost, Ann's lack of enthusiasm and willingness to assist was evident from the start. Instead of greeting me with a warm smile and a genuine desire to assist, she appeared disinterested and barely acknowledged my presence. It was as if my presence inconvenienced her and disrupted her personal time. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, but Ann failed to deliver on these basic expectations. Ann made it seem like it was absolute pain to answer my questions. It was clear Ann didn't want to take the time to show us the inventory and was in a rush to pass us off to someone else. Zack somewhat made up for Ann's awful customer service skills, but still the whole experience was a 0/10. Zack was kind and patient and answered all of our questions. As a younger buyer who just recently got into watches, it's far too often that I feel discourage to walk into a store and check a timepiece out due to the fact that most salesperson just can't be bothered to help you out and not taking you seriously if you don't look like a potential customer who could actually afford those pieces. Su Minch however, was different. I walked into the store, feeling nervous and anxious due to the past experience that I had with other ADs but Su wiped it all away. She even went out her way to find me the piece that I wanted, granted the piece that I wanted to see was not available and very hard to find. She was kind enough to show me an alternative piece of that model and told me in great details everything that I needed to know about that certain timepiece. Westime itself carries a wide variety of brands. If you like independent brands in particular, this place is a heaven for you. I won't go into details about the brands the carry because those are listed on either their website, or the official brand's website. I'd say, if Westime happens to carry the brand you like, go give Su a visit. She will make sure the experience of hunting a piece and getting one enjoyable throughout. Buying expensive watches is supposed to be fun. At the very least, easy. Somehow, Westime botched even that. The positive: they've got a remarkable selection and the new location is gleaming and enormous. So I totally understand why my wife went there when she wanted to surprise me with something special. They had the watch she (and I) wanted in stock. So I guess that's good, too. That's where the good stuff ends. I'm told Ann was difficult during the purchasing process. But in all honesty, I wasn't there to see it so shouldn't comment. I believe it, though, because I experience Ann firsthand when there was an issue with the watch two weeks after purchase. She GRUDGINGLY accepted the return for repair, and then we literally never heard from her again. We'd call every couple of months. She'd groan and tell us to "be patient." She didn't respond to emails, didn't return phone calls. We had to sorta' accidentally catch her, just to confirm there was no update this month. I finally began corresponding directly with the manufacturer in Italy. They were great, actually. They confirmed receipt, stayed in contact, alerted us (many months later) when the repair was complete. It's baffling to me that Westime dropped the ball. They sell luxury watches -- customer service is supposed to be in their DNA. It isn't. All in all, I'm finally pleased with watch. But getting here was a nightmare and that's insane given the cost. And one more thing. Along the way, I asked Ann if she could order some additional straps for the watch in question. They're leather, available only from manufacturer, $100 a piece. Easy. She told me there were three colors available. I said I'd take one of each. After watch was finally returned and on my wrist, I swung by to pay for and pick up the three straps. Ann brought out four options, three good colors and one that exactly matched the existing strap. No need for that one, and hadn't ordered a fourth. Me: Okay, I'll take these three. Thanks. Ann: But there are four. Me: Yep. But I only ordered three. So... Ann: If you don't take the fourth, I'll have to send it back to Italy. And I don't want to do that. Me: Yeah, I just don't need it. Ann: But they sent four. I'm really going to need you to buy it. Me: ? Yeah, I just puzzled on that one for a bit. I finally said some version of: "I hear you, but I don't want it. Please write me up for the three straps I ordered. You're making me uncomfortable." She grudgingly agreed (which I suspect is a sentence people write a lot about this particular salesperson and this particular store). Then she wrote a bill for almost $500. Seemed high, so I asked for an explanation. Ann: Well, it's the price of the straps plus tax. Me: That seems off somehow. They're $100 each. So, like, more like $350. Right? Ann: Oh, my mistake. I charged you for four. Grrrrrrrrr. It just felt sneaky. And weird. And, yeah, we're just talking about a hundred bucks and what's the big deal. But my wife had just dropped $10K on a watch and here I was having a miserable time. That's ultimately the thing that ruins Westime for me. Buying a watch (and I realize my 10K is still a pretty cheap watch for them, but still...) is supposed to be fun. Westime isn't. read more

But I would have expected a simple answer to the question I asked instead of being told "all our watches are between $20,000 and $30,000." After looking at the inventory, I knew she'd told me a bald faced lie. Zenith, TAG, Omega. Not all are that expensive. I was the only customer in the store. Why not try to sell me something instead of trying to chase me off? Last weekend, I visited about 10 different watch stores in Las Vegas. The Rolex dealer was a snob but all the others were welcoming and courteous. Obviously the sales staff at Westime needs additional customer service training.
