This all happened within the last hour, and I left feeling unsettled and second-guessing myself after the interaction. I even called my mom on the drive home, worried she may have been scammed when purchasing the watch on the grey market. She sent me the invoice and a screenshot of the bank statement reflecting a $17,200 purchase. Regardless, authenticity was never the purpose of my visit, professionalism and basic customer service were. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark. 5 stars, worked with me and my pain in the butt Seiko and it's running beautifully. Tic Toc disassembled and figured out what was wrong with my very sentimental-to-me Seiko. Unfortunately it's a bit of a less common model AND Seiko won't sell parts to it, not even for their approved resellers. (It would've probably been better to have a more common one and outright replace the movement but....) Tic Toc sent the watch into Seiko and only charged me what Seiko was charging, that's it. I was in the area, called this watch shop and asked how much they would charged to change the battery on my watch. I went there and when he looked at my watch he said it's more money to swap the battery because it's a chronograph. Now if you know anything about watches you know how irrelevant being a chrono or nonchrono is to changing a battery, but some people can't help themselves and try to scam and take advantage of people for more money thinking you have zero knowledge. I chuckled and asked if he can honor the price he mentioned on the phone , and he said no.
