Feller Towing - A successful load - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Evansville, Indiana

On 12/26/2024 I was stopped outside of Chandler for having a headlight out, which I was unaware of. After running my license I found my license were suspended, which I was also unaware of. I was arrested and my car was towed and impounded to Fuller's Towing. I called to pick it up the following night and they said the bill was $612.00. It is less than 5 miles from the arrest location to Fuller's shop. They raped me! The reason they raped me is because, what could I do? They tried to charge me for 2 days storage, when I called it was less than 24 hours from when they picked it up. They charged an administrative fee of $120.00. (Administrative fee for what?) they charged $10.00 after hours fee (this is acceptable). They charged $250.00 tow/hook fee. This is OUTRAGEOUS! A normal tow fee on a flat bed is $95.00 and flat bed towing is typically more expensive than tow/hook towing. So where did the additional $150.00 charge come from. Again, (because they can!) Then to top it off they charged $58.00 for a fuel charge. they towed my vehicle aprox. 5 miles. After I was told it was going to be $612.00 I couldn't pick my vehicle up because I didn't have that much money, especially after paying $300.00 to bond out of jail. This company abused me when I was at a very financially vulnerable spot. If you cant pay the bill, they will sell your vehicle or auction it off, and you just lose it. They finally adjusted the bill to $520.00, because it wasn't available to pickup during the New Years holidays. But, after they adjusted the bill they added another 3 % to the total for using a debit card to pay. I will and have told everyone I know to NOT use Feller's Ripoff Towing. Because you will have to take a loan out to get your car back. I hope this place runs themselves out of business. They are rude when they answer the phone or ask questions concerning the charges. They close at 4:00pm, so that those of us who work until 5:00 can't pick it up, and they can charge an additional day of storage. If you ever get stopped by the police and they are going to tow your vehicle, tell them to call another tow company. Refuse Feller's Epic Ripoff Gouging tow company. read more

I used Feller towing whenever I had to move my lowered classic car and motorcycle to the other side of town. I can't remember the guy's name that worked with me but he was great. He was very friendly and was extremely careful with my most prized possessions. Also this is probably the cheapest towing company I've ever had to use, and he gave me a receipt (for anyone who can use their auto insurance for towing expenses.) highly recommend! read more

My husband had a coworker "try" to replace a rotor on our Ford Excursion. But when he got in over his head, he just left and woyldnt answer the phone. I called Feller Towing and spoke to a gentleman, Tim, and told him that my Ford Excursion is sitting in my drive blocking my camper and I cant move it cause the back passenger wheel, hub and rotor was off and all of its parts are under it. I told him we had a camping trip planned and asked if there was any way he could move it to a different part of my drive. He quoted me the price, which was just a little higher than their normal tow fee, since it would require more work. Well, he got here within 15 minutes, and realized how difficult it would be to move without causing damage to the back or my running boards. He also suggested that we go ahead and tow it to a shop, once he gets it loaded, since he'll have it on his truck anyway. He and my husband talked and came up with a plan, but since Tim had an already scheduled appt, he asked if he could come back the next day. We of course agreed. About 15 minutes after he left, he called to tell me that he just wanted to confirm the time and also tell me that there would be no additional fees....the quoted price was all I would pay even though he's towing it to a shop and making another trip. Tim was knowledgeable, kind, considerate of our plight and did everything he could possibly do to make it easiest on us. I cannot praise this man enough for the extra time he spent helping us to understand what needed to be done to get our vehicle fixed. It wasnt an easy task considering he loaded the biggest SUV made, without any issues. We will forever be grateful to Tim and Feller towing for coming through for us. He did an amazing job! read more

So let's start this review by saying Feller Towing is a bunch of liars and crooks. Company was asked twice how much for the service and "I will work up the bid and get back with you" & "I don't have it figured up yet" was the answers. Then when vehicle is pulled out Feller towing moves a tow truck and parks behind our vehicle and comes over and says " I cant release vehicle without payment" I ask how much is it and "$10,000" Are you F'n serious where would you like me to pull that out of??? Needless to say blocking in a vehicle and demanding 10 grand is Extortion! Guess what I hear is right they burn down buildings to collect insurance then expect hard working pay check to paycheck people to pay for it to be re-built. They charged 900 Per HR when they might have actually worked 3 hrs and slept the rest. They sent 4 guys- you're telling me a call out for tow truck you send out 4 guys? I don't think so one guy couldn't do it so Hrs later more had to come so how is it fair to charge 4 guys start to finish? Two of their guys left to go get breakfast pizza and were gone 2 hrs, and two guys had their girlfriends there with them and they walked with them, all up in the middle of everything so please tell me again how hard working Feller towing really is???? Company is a joke, do not use Feller Towing from Evansville IN unless you have endless money and time to be wasted. read more

Do NOT use this company. Their prices are sky high and their employees are extremely unprofessional. For a simple tow (no clean up, no towing out of a ditch, etc) they charged $300. I was a little frustrated, but asked who to make it out to. The driver told me to make it out to him (which seemed strange). I got my checkbook, and he said that they didn't take checks (so why did he just tell me to make it out to him). He said only cash or card. I don't carry that much cash, so I offered to pay card, but I requested a receipt. The driver kept telling me how ridiculous I was being and that if I needed a receipt he could just "drop me." He was being so aggressive the officer on scene got out of his car to check on me. He offered to call me a different company because he said Feller's was being highly inappropriate and even said they charge too much. When I feel unsafe due to the behavior of your employee, something is wrong. Finally, after the employee was done berating me, he left and said they would charge the shop they were towing it to. When I went to the body shop, they even commented on the company's ridiculous prices. Do not give this company your money or your time. You will be highly disappointed. read more

After working with Feller Towing, I will only use them for my personal vehicle if I ever need a tow.
