Dr. Chiang recommended Angel Aligners and took the time to explain the treatment plan clearly and answer all of our questions. We've already seen great progress, and my son has found the aligners comfortable and easy to wear. The front desk team is always friendly, organized, and helpful with scheduling and insurance questions. The clinical staff is equally wonderful, professional, and great at making kids feel comfortable during their visits. The office is clean, efficient, and welcoming. I have been denied access to my digital STL scans at this clinic since December 2025. They claimed my last scan was taken three months prior to completion and is "inaccurate," yet they successfully fabricated a final retainer for me at the end of treatment--which is impossible without an accurate final scan. This appears to be a misleading tactic to force me into a new office visit and a $500 fee for a new scan and retainer. Withholding records to coerce a sale is a violation of HIPAA (45 CFR § 164.524) and NY Law. I have officially filed a federal complaint (Case #683173) and a report with the NY State Board of Professional Discipline. I will update this review only once my legally-entitled records are released. I strongly advise others to be aware of these gatekeeping tactics before starting treatment here. The office is beautiful, staff are the sweetest, and my orthodontist is amazing. Initial appointment they took scans and went over everything with me. Because of my treatment plan, my dentist and oral surgeon together came up with a plan and my orthodontist has been doing an amazing job. Reassuring me, explaining things. She sent me for physical therapy to widen the opening of my mouth which lasted for close to one year, as well as a TMJ specialist that made several devices to aid in that respect and resolve thee TMJ issue. It was worth waiting a year before Dr. Salzer was able to put braces in my mouth and give me the smile and pefect bite I always wanted! I chose braces versus invisalign because my teeth were able to be corrected in less than one year and I love drinking coffee and would not be able to keep the invisalign in my mouth when drinking anything but water. In addition, if it wasn't for her, I would not have known that I had a lump on the upper left side of my mouth. Being an ex-cancer patient, that was extremely upsetting to me. She sent me to a neurologist to make sure that it wasn't cancer. I have had several checkups with that doctor to confirm. The technology in her office is "first class." I do believe without the best technology, she would not have known about it. Dr. Salzer invests in technology for her patients and has the cutting edge before it even hits the market! That should also be a factor when chosing the right orthodontist. Even though she sent me for physical therapy and to the TMJ specialist, it was all worth the wait! The price quote for an onlay sounded high, so I double checked with my dental insurance and was told a much lower figure for that procedure. When I returned for the procedure, it took several minutes to get some agreement between the office and insurer on the price, so then they told me they couldn't see me today and I needed to schedule another appointment. The patient experience is terrible here and I was very underwhelmed by the cleaning, even before they chipped my tooth. Save some time and avoid overpaying, and go to a more reputable dentist.
