Beware of this Company! Invoices inaccurate! Communication and customer service non existent! Terms are not put forth honestly and are buried on website. 1.) They will not accurately describe the parts they are selling you. The description of item #1 was a dash for my exact truck (2015 GMC 2500). Received confirmation from 2 different sources after the fact the dash was from a GMC 1500. 2.) item #2 listed was a passenger air bag again listed for my exact Truck. Comment field was perfect place to document the air bag was to replace the one in the dash which was incorrect for my application. 1500 air bags are different than 2500. Comments documented for item #2 -"RH Dash" 3.)The parts were shipped from a different location to the Fenix yard in my area. One would think that the receiving yard would have all the information they needed on the transaction. 4.) Terms and conditions should be in writing on every Invoice for items sold. I ordered via phone never once was given the return policy. Terms buried under "Warranty and Terms and Conditions". Picked up parts. Guy says "Not sure why they sent this air bag. Must have sent by mistake. There is an air bag in the dash you don't need this one". He is a Fenix Employee so surely he knows something I don't. Don't count on it, no communication between yards. Made sense it was right there in black and white, the dash came from a 2015 GMC 2500. So I agreed and left the item. I hit a curb and damaged my wheel rim. Since I needed a new one, I began calling around to see who had one and how much it would cost. One of the places I called was Fenix Auto Parts. How much? $140. Then, I would have to wait a few days for them to receive it from New Jersey. I looked online to see how much it would be if I ordered one from New Jersey myself or anywhere else online. I could buy a brand new OEM rim for $110. Luckily, while I was calling, I found Northstar Auto and Salvage. It's only half a mile north of Fenix. How much for a rim for my car? $25. This is not the first time that I priced parts for my car. I have worked on my car for years. Fenix, formerly Eiss Brothers, is always extremely expensive. I would call this price gouging. I would advise anyone looking for parts to avoid Fenix. Another place that doesn't overcharge is Kafline's Used Auto Parts in Lowville. It has been worth the half hour to travel there for parts when Northstar doesn't have what I need. If neither of Northstar or Kaflines has your part, it's better to order from eBay. There are lots of used parts on eBay. Then, it is even better to buy your parts from Autozone or Advance Auto. Even Walmart has most of what you need at decent prices. So, no matter what, don't buy your used parts from Fenix. I guarantee that the prices will be two to three times as much as you will pay anywhere else. Anyone who says that their prices are good hasn't priced their parts elsewhere. read more
