The bar at FBAG was chock full of regulars when I arrived at 4pm. I ordered a beer and sat at a table for a bit until my friends arrived. When the arrived at 5pm, the place was already getting busy and by 5:15, every inside table was packed. Mondays are something here, with $2 domestic bottled beers and $10 for ten wings. The kitchen was struggling to keep up! When the wings arrived, they were hot and delicious. FBAG is big on "trashed wings" which apparently means that they are fried, sauced, fried AGAIN and sauced again. It makes for a different flavor and they were terrific. What makes a sports/local bar stand out? In my opinion it's local, has great food, fun vibe and great cocktails! FBAG, the name used by locals, hits the mark on all counts! We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Sports fans watching football on the many screens provided and people just gathering for trashed wings and beer. Sometimes simplicity equals comfort. That's how you'll feel, especially if Chuck the owner is checking in with everyone to make sure the food is good and they are having a good time. The menu is huge with a lot of options, but they are known for their trashed wings (be patient they take a little time to prepare). The fried green beans are so good and salads are huge and delicious. Everyone can find a favorite here. The vibe is local fun. Nothing fancy, nor needed. With a great staff you feel welcome to sit in the various areas inside at the bar, on the enclosed patio, or the outside seating weather permitting. Live bands in the summer- check the website. Located in an industrial park bit people know how to find it because it was packed on a Sunday afternoon. They have patio seating (enclosed for colder weather, full bar, happy hour specials ( even on the weekend) . Service is fast and the food was good , grilled chicken sandwich was moist and flavorful served with crispy fries . Husband's burger was grilled well and seasoned perfectly and onion rings were good. Great location for after work happy hour. Good draft beer selection too. I have narrowed myself to just ordering appetizers here because the sandwich selection is just okay. I asked for no tomatoes and received all the toppings. Season fries are good. Don't order the chips...no good. Wings are excellent. Order the trashed version. Fried mushrooms are good too. Had lunch at Fenton Bar & Grill and it has friendly servers and a kind of a nice dive ambience and is located in an industrial court. I began with a cup of chili with beans as an appetizer that was good and reminded me of my Mom's chili who was a great cook so as to say the chili was very good! However my meatball sandwich I ordered was pretty mid. The meatballs were overcooked and my last bite the last meatball was actually all dried out, yuck. The tater tots I had were really good though especially since I get tired of French fries so they were a tasty alternative to fries. I had iced tea to drink that was good since checking out the bar I didn't see a lot of craft brews, and I don't count Blue Moon as a craft brew though nothing against Blue Moon but I only saw a Schlafley's beer on tap but wasn't what I wanted. read more

FBAG is a true neighborhood gem. They serve the best hot wings in St. Louis, and it's honestly not even close. I get them trashed and tossed in lemon pepper + buffalo which are indescribably delicious together. The wings check every box: great size, perfectly cooked and crispy, excellent sauce and seasoning, and most impressively, consistent quality every single time I've ordered them. That kind of consistency, especially in a place that is always busy, says a lot. On top of that, the service has always been great, the bar and beer selection is solid, the food is very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere delivers exactly what you want from a neighborhood pub. The only real downside is the limited indoor space, but when the weather is nice, the patio nearly doubles the seating. So it is really only an issue on those nights when the weather is bad and everyone in the neighborhood has the same idea you do: wings and cold beer. read more

We had a great time on Friday night! We found ourselves without kids on a beautiful night, perfect for al fresco dining and opted for the Fenton Bar and Grill where the band Jobs 360 was playing. The place was jumping what with college football, a chiefs game, the Cardinals game and a live band, plus a birthday luau in full swing for three of the waitresses, but we were able to find a table on the covered deck immediately. We started with a couple draft beers and some fried pickles, all of which were great. The band started up about 6:30 playing some great covers of artists from the Rolling Stones to Tom Petty to the Grateful Dead. With things as busy as they were, our meal came a bit slowly, but the band and our conversation made that perfect. When dinner did arrive, we were very pleased. My husband enjoyed the B.B.B.B.L.T. Sandwich and tots so much he even asked to know the brand of bacon they use, but the owner would only say "el cheapo." My turkey club was delicious and fresh tasting and the onion rings were fantastic. We had ordered takeout in the past and found it very salty, but this time around everything was seasoned lightly but well. They feature live music two or three nights a week in the warmer months and we're definitely coming back for that and the food. Made me move after already seated (by a waitress) outside bc he said "you didn't speak to me and I make the decisions on where people sit." Was about as rude as possible. If we hadn't been here in the past and weren't in a hurry I would've walked out immediately. I can't believe anyone in general would speak like to someone let alone to a customer. I ordered the Fenton Burger with cheddar cheese and fries. When the food arrived you could see the steam coming off the food. The burger and fries arrived hot. The burger was cooked close to medium which was nice. The flavor of the burger was a little underwhelming. The choice of meat they use needs lots of seasoning. Really enjoyed the fries. Fun and random spot! My husband and I walked in after an event at Purina farms. We walked into the main bar area and were informed to just find a spot and someone would be over. The bar was full of regulars enjoying them selves. To me that is a sign of a great spot! So we found a table in the semi-outdoor space just beyond the bar. Plenty of space and TVs. Our server came to our table right away and she was awesome. I asked about some of the beers on draft and she had great recommendations. She was brutally honest on some of the beers and she cracked me up. We did the fried portabellas, fried pickles and trashed wings. Don't judge! The wings are really good and their ranch dressing is great! I can't stand bottles ranch. Their ranch is top notch! This location is off the beaten path in the business park area. Top notch. We're from out of town and staying the night in Fenton as a kind of half way point. We went here because of the proximity to our hotel and the other positive reviews. Ella was our waitress and she was the best. My wife and I got 2 different sandwiches with the intent to share and she noticed that we had switched and wondered if we didn't like what we order. Quite the contrary, my Ruben and my wife's turkey were very good. The prices were reasonable, the food came out fast and Ella was great. My wife had heard about this bar from some of her friends. Nice little sports bar. The servers at this bar all teamed up and really did a great job of taking care of us. I would say it was good bar food. The house hot sauce was really good, they sell bottles of it. We sat out on the covered porch. There are plenty of TVs to watch the games which I liked overall. I have always loved the food at FBG. I normally go at lunch and the girls serving are fantastic. So sweet always asking what you need. Last night Sunday 8/6/2023 things were very different. We walked in and the place was not busy. There were three ladies waiting tables. The older one that came over to us after being sat for around 20 minutes finally asking if we we wanted a drink. We have her the entire order including drinks and food. Getting a refill or another glass of wine or beer or water refilled was impossible. When the food finally showed they did not bring us silverware napkins or plates. After going back up to the bus cart three times to get it myself she finally came over and said what can I get you...I was not happy with this service at all. She was not good and did not seem to care. Doing a lot of standing around talking to the other servers is what I noticed. read more

Let me just say that I have not had a bad experience here! I do not recommend a larger group (above 7 people) due to the lack of space to push tables together. However if you don't care about that then you most deff should go here. They are the home of trashed wings. And for good reason. Get them! also the onion rings are amazingly fried. The servers are helpful and sweet. They made sure my beer came out cold and stayed filled. The patio is also able to be a year round patio. After living in High Ridge for the past 16 years and passing this place on my weekly bike bike rides along the river and surrounding business parks, we finally stopped in a couple years ago and was knocked out. The food is great. Their wings are pretty amazing too, but my #1 sandwich I get (almost) every time is the Trashed Chicken. Not sure who thought to put it together,but it is perfection. The only drawback to this place is that it is pretty small AND so popular that we often can't get in and have to settle for a lesser option. Service is excellent and prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely check it out. Maybe avoid trying on a game day if you want a seat quickly. read more
